Great video as usual! Personally, my tankxiety triggers in content like Alliance Raids and Trials. Basically anything that has more than one tank. I don’t play the role often and am not sure about things like tank swapping, who takes lead, etc. I don’t see things like this talked about in a lot of tanking guides.

Amazing beginners guide! As I said in the discord, I would watch it and when I'm actually going to start the pld job I'll watch it again (probably several times as I'm leveling) to gain an even better understanding of it! The only tanks I've played so far are war and drk, but pld seems more different to them. Or maybe it seems that way because I really don't know pld that well.
It was fairly easy to follow and a lot of things you said do make a lot of sense. Love it that at the beginning and end you mentioned mitigation and possible diminishing returns. This is indeed still a problem among tanks. But if you could go into even more detail about it, that might be helpful for tanks who know their job basics, but want to take it a step further (?)(this is more me thinking very freely, sorry^^ feel very free to ignore it). I understand that this doesn’t belong in a beginners video^^ As long as people don't blow their mitigation all at once it should already be fine, as you mentioned! Looking forward to the other guides you'll make in the future!

Heya! I know you show the key bindings in the video but is there a way for you to share it on a Google doc? I mainly play on mouse and keyboard but also play on controller from time to time and would like to try your setup. Would also be great if you could do this in future guides as well

@BunBossFFXIV Can I maybe ask a stupid question? Why cant you use a macro for spells like Circle of Scorn and Spirits Within which can make them a one button press to make weaving simpler? im just coming back after years and trying to help myself as well just wondering if this is viable or not and why.
This has to do with macros being too delayed when doing rotations.. Macros are more used to emotes and crafting. you would miss gcds if you macros any gcds because of the delay.

Do I do 3 or 4 holy spirit for the 69 rotation? The graphic has 3 but you say 4
I use shield lob to pull just so much easier
