    Just got a pair of texterizing scissors & am going to try & use them since my hair stylist won't use them when I ask her to. I definitely need that spiky look that I'm trying to go for. Love your channel & your hair cut.😀❤

    I have thinner hair on top but want it to stand up for some volume. I don’t look good with flat hair and I never know what to do with it. I have hair that comes just above my shoulders and I just cut layers around the crown area 9-1/2 inches. But I don’t know how short I can go on top without it looking off. This video was interesting that you said you can do this on longer hair. Would you consider making a video just like this one with longer hair on top? I enjoy this video. You have given me something to think about trying! Thanks!

    That was neat what you did. I never seen any Hairstyles do anything like that. To lift the hair up like that. It's something to know about that you can do to make your lift up like that.

    Hey Radona love this video. I need a pair of these shears. It's amazing how big of a difference it makes My hair is so fine, I wonder if I could do this myself. Blessings from east tn. Also I checked out the link and the price on them is really reasonable.

    Love your videos and many of your older clients opt to go bold and spiked! Go 80’s ladies! Wish you’d show us how to cut to have those spikes on the crown even if it’s a longer style. And how to find that spot when you’re styling?
    Much prayer going your way with post surgery. We’re rooting for you!

    Do you think anyone could do this to their own hair? I love the idea of it making thin fine hair stand up.

      Yes, I think you can do it on your own. Here’s where you can buy the shears www.amazon.com/Cutting-Professional-Scissors-Hairdressing-Hairdresser/dp/B086C62N5Y

    I just cut my own hair with my own professional haircutting kit I just did my texture thinning sheers myself I did dry and wet version and I'm not professional at all lol and got my own clippers got an undercut and side shave to this just shaved me from paying 25 to 30 bucks at the barber shop lol

    Does the same thing work for natural curly hair? My hair is cut in a pixie which I blow dry as straight as possible. It is also very fine.

    Which way do you hold the serrated edge? On the outer part of the hair or towards the scalp? Thank you.

    • @BoysAndGirlsHairstyles
      @BoysAndGirlsHairstyles  2 роки тому +1

      More towards the scalp! Wherever the hair bends when you hold it up is where it’s heaviest! If you cut in there it will give volume!👍🏼💜

      @@BoysAndGirlsHairstyles Excuse me, I'm blond, maybe I should have phrased it this way: is the serrated blade on the outside of your hair or underneath your hair. Sorry, between my hair color and age, it doesn't take much to confuse me. LOL I just want to be sure I'm doing it correctly. Thank you I.A.
