Started out with you a year and a half ago. Have really learned to LOVE playing uke. I’m up to four ukes now. In fact, bought my enya on your recommendation and love it. UUuuuh thank you... honestly i never changed the strings of the ukulel because they were never broken ... just didnt know that it improves the sound after some time..... i am so exicted for this challenge... just started with the first one ... so i will come back later .. =)

I was so proud when i had to change my strings because of wear and tear because i knew it was from practicing a lot. If you run a fingernail on the underside of the strings and they are rough feeling where they meet the frets, CHANGE them! Its exciting. The first time took me 2 hours!!! Now i can do it in 15 or 20 minutes!
Secretly, I believe I bought my new black Enya Nova in an effort NOT to change the strings on the uke I got for Christmas. I about fainted when you said six months! xoxo Darya
