More of these!!! This is just what I'm needing, as a NOVICE, past beginner, but not intermediate at all. 1. A warm-up routine where I can see progress over time; 2. practice with strums, chucks, 2 finger-picking, and some novice chords. Really, there is a big missing space for NOVICE ukulele tutorials on youtube... Thank you...
I just started with my ukelele, thank you so much for this practice everyday video, please keep doing them.Love your cat.A Venezuelan living in Montevideo, Uruguay
Hi Carolina! I’m so sorry to hear about what is happening in Venezuela. I hope you’re safe ❤️ one of my best friends is Venezuelan too and currently lives in Peru.
You are the best! I am working on this daily now, and have to keep going over what to do. I am a beginner and must watch the videos over and over and practice..not easy but what is in life
David Bliss hi David ! 👋🏼 Thank you so much for the sweet compliment! When I was editing this video I thought about giving up and not uploading it at all. I’m super happy to see everyone’s response to this video
Hi B! I’ve been watching your videos and yes, I’m still a beginner beginner (picked up an uke for the very first time). I’ve been going to uke lessons for over a month now and still working on some challenges with switching chords in the middle of strumming. Learning new chords and adding them to the routine are also something I’m trying to improve. I found your total beginner video is the best for a beginner beginner like me. My daily practice isn’t as extensive as this warm-up. I wish I had found this video sooner. Though I truly appreciate this video as I’m going to watch it everyday and incorporate it to my practice. Mahalo nui 🙏🏼
Hi Bernadette!! Thank you for doing these videos for us, you're a great teacher and very helpful to a newbie like me. Also, loved hearing Kitkat singing along with this lesson today! ❤🎵😁🎶🎸
This is wonderful! Thank you! These warm-up exercises should be super helpful for strumming and picking, and blues is one of my favorite kinds of music. So it's like a double win.
I really love this tutorial. Thanks so much Mrs B!!! I've watched a lot of your other vids too and they've all helped me so much and im making so much progress so thank you!!!! I also love your cat so much!! She is the cutest!!! xxxx
Hi Daisy!!! 👋🏼 Thank you so much 😊 I am so glad you loved this tutorial. I wasn’t sure if the community would like it, but I’m very happy to see the response it has had! Thank you for your encouraging words
ive been playing uke tiredlessy for two months now looking for random songs chords online, i still have much to learn but i felt a bit confident in my novice skills, thought i always felt like something was missing. which was absolutely this kind of practice. From now on i will my practice watching this video before playing anything!
😃Yay, thanks for this, I actually just came upon it yesterday, the last E7 D7 A7 E7 progression is more challenging for me, but will keep at it. Have been watching your channel and am a new Patreon member, loving it and the Stairway to Heaven is up there in advanced level for me but am enjoying learning. Your teaching technique is awesome. Love the Look Up.
I got my first musical instrument and i couldn't find any good video to learn, either they were to fast or they were putting the patters directly onto the songs...and i found this😃finger pattern, chord pattern, everything... thank u😃
This is my first viewing here....love it. Such a progressive help....and so many points iv never been introduced to before, i mean, who'd have thought of warming up just to play an instrument? Yes....i'm a true beginner. Thank you.
@@BernadetteTeachesMusic Hi Bernadette, It's now been over a month since I added the blues progression to my daily practice. Wow! what a difference in my playing, especially with chord changes with more complicated strumming patterns. I recently completed your 30-day Uke Challenge (I started it on June 9, 2019) and am I now playing independently, working on barre chords and have learned 3 songs: Imagine, Have you ever seen the rain, and Stand by me. When I started playing in June 2019, I never thought I would be able to play as well as I am at this point. I still have a long way to go but I love playing and learning. It's one of the highlights of my day, everyday! Thank you Bernadette! I couldn't have done it without you!
These warm up techniques came so natural for me! So I spend 5 minutes of my daily practice doing these before launching into songs. Im making my way through the 30 day Uke challenge and I bought a concert Alvarez Ukulele! Learning the Uke has been a professional and personal development for me, as I teach preschool and it’s been therapy for me! Thank you Bernadette! You’re a fabulous teacher!
