Your colors are so vibrant and beautiful. I love using the the little felt squares on a stamper with blending alcohol to blend some of the colors together. Like leave the circles and blend the background by pouncing. It creates a soft effect in contrast to the hard edges of the circles, plus the color combinations always turn out beautiful. Thank you for your beautiful inspiration! You always surprise us with new ideas. Thanks.
Fabulous technique. The close ups at the end showed just how awesome the colours turned out.
Just saw this video today for the first time. I'm now looking for all my vellum sheets and my alcohol inks I haven't used in a long time. I love the technique and am going to use it for a birthday card background for my very creative friend!
Soooooo super cool! And I love the gold brads. Such a great finishing touch!
I remember this project. Just as fun as the first time. I did some playing with alcohol inks with our older daughter, and we had a blast. I will making a floral science, and a tree with autumn colors, to include in a gift box of handmade cards. Even made my first floral paintings, one with that groovy triangle brush, and felt they were okay to give as cards. I will be adding doodles, for they are so fun. Thanks, CeeCee.
ohh I bought some vellum recently~! The guy at office max said you can't use this with any medium thats wet. Well shows what he knew! Glad I bought it and found your video! You are quite good! Love that as an entry in your art journal! You have indeed inspired me!
I absolutely loved this technique! Thanks for sharing. This is only the second video of yours that I've watched and both were really great.
I love this background technique. It's so bright and fun. I love playing with alcohol inks. It sort of reminds me of marbling paper by how you can continue to add more color and it expands into the color that's already there. Lovely page and thanks for the video. I got my CeeCee fix!
+Dena Cottrell Yes, that's exactly right! I love it when the colors scooch and make room for the newcomer. LOL Thank you for the lovely comment, my friend!
That is just awesome Cee Cee!! Love the pages !!!
Wow, that was fun to even watch! I'm going to try this!! Thanks for sharing!
This is gorgeous, Ceecee! Definitely giving it a try!
Wow!!! I love your journal page. I’ve had alcohol inks for years that I have not used. I think I know what I’m going to do! I have a tablet of vellum in my stash. Yes and yes again! 😃
Love your work and your videos! Thanks so much, you’re giving me great ideas, CeeCee!
I wish I could just do those “scribbles” as you did. Perfect touch. I’m new to all this and appreciate your videos.
Never would've thought of using my alcohol inks on vellum. These are lovely!
This is fantastic idea and the look is so cool!!! I will have to try it!
Love this idea. I have vellum and love the look. I find it hard to do d says to use it easily. I am very inspired. Thank you.
Ceecee, this is fabulous!! I'm going to try it!
so much fun! I've used alcohol inks on clear packaging and pounced the ink too. you can get some nice effects that way too. I love your art and your flair.
Gorgeous result on the vellum!! Thanks for sharing!
This is so pretty. I can see these in frames on the wall. This might just be Christmas gifts to the girls in my family. Thanks for sharing.
+Elizabeth Ricard Awesome! I'm glad it gave you some ideas!
That was very cool. I have honestly never seen that done. I love the effect. Thanks so much.
Love the bright colors
Great to see you working on a DLP page again. Love the idea. I've not tried vellum with this technique, only glossy card. I love the ethereal quality to the vellum pieces. They would work well in an Acrylic Mini Album!
+Paula Atkinson Yes, I do like the semi-transluscence of the vellum. Thank and have a wonderful day!
Wow. Just pure creativity! Love it!
I've tried this technique on wax paper, using my homemade alcohol inks, & I love the results, I use it for collage. Funtastic video love the process!!! BTW we live not far from each other. TFS. Angela
Just tried my homemade alcohol inks on velum and stamped on it when dry and I love the result - no more expensive Yupo paper or alcohol inks for me - just need to perfect the homemade blending solution. Thanks for sharing - I would never thought to use velum - best wishes from England - forever subscribed - and using straw correct end !!
HI HOW DID YOU MAKE YOUR OWN ALCOHOL INKS AND ALSO IS VELUM TRACING PAPER?? THANKS JACQUI IRELAND
love how creative you are!
Oh gosh this is so fabulous!!! Thank you so much for sharing!! I can't wait to try it!! So happy to see your DLP again, too. :) :)

Well this sure looks like a lot of fun! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for this!! I have these inks and didn't know what to do with them. Now I have this really gorgeous piece of vellum. And I did, in my excitement, put the paint end in my mouth 😂
oh noooo! LOL well i'm sure it was worth it. have a wonderful week.
This is beautiful and I think some cards would look good with this added. I've missed you and so glad you are video-ing again. Boy of boy does that elegant writer spread when you think it is done. Sneaks up and gives you a surprise when you aren't looking. I really need to play with it more. So fun. Your class is great.
+mary w It's difficult to keep a regular schedule... One day, I'll get it right LOL Thank you for your support and have a wonderful weekend!
awesome colors & technique! Thank you for sharing!
I actually have those inks! What you have created is beautiful and it's something I would like to try too. Thank you CeeCee for sharing your ideas and techniques with us Karen x

Beautiful. I love working with alcohol inks.
You are a very good teacher, thanks you so much for sharing. Bless you
thank you so much!
I'm completely amazed at how easily you see through your eyes, (a vision if you will), and know exactly what you're going to draw to make these incredible doodles/objects on your paints. I would love to have that ease in seeing something in my mind, and then drawing it. You are so versatile in your art, CeeCee and I am totally inspired by your video's.
thank you so much for this lovely comment, Maeve! i do have a very vivid imagination and it usually translates into seeing things that other might miss, but you know this can be practiced.... like everything else. please keep going and follow your instincts-- they will lead you to magical places. have a beautiful and creative day!
I learned this back in 1999 but used ink refills, and gorgeous inks called Luna Lights. Used either vellum or glossy cardstock. I've alwar
This was so fun to watch and I will try it.
Those colors are really beautiful together. Great job. TFS
I found a bunch of alcohol inks by Studio 2 in my stash but couldn't remember what I did with them (bought them about 14 yrs ago). Think I used them on glossy cardstock. Think I'll dig them out and give them a try again since I've been looking for ways to make my own background papers. Will also try on vellum. Thanks!!
Love this! Gotta try it!!!!! Thank You so much,,,,
Oh how fun!
at 8 minutes we both went ohhhh at the same time!!
love it when you share my dear...more more more! :)
+Kraaft Shaak Thank you, friend! It's so much fun to do ... I had a hard time stopping.
I have to try this technique!
Ty
Time to get out my alcohol inks and give this a try! Looks like more than fun!
I’m definitely going to try this 😊
Very awesome effects . . loving this, gonna try some. Thanks . . 😎 😎 😎
I am sure the colors are even more vibrant in person. Love it. TFS!
+Belinda Wiggins Not really. I try to render the true colors in the photos you are seeing at the end. Thanks and have a wonderful weekend!
Wow sorry! Almost every video I watch they say it is more vibrant in person. I know they are very vibrant in the video but I guess that is what I get for thinking and going on what others say. It always gets in trouble. lol
+Belinda Wiggins Belinda, you weren't wrong. Here's the story: the colors are a lot more vibrant in person than on the VIDEO part but... the pictures i add at the end of each of my videos are rendered in such a way that they represent the true colors of each piece. So, there you go! And you didn't get into trouble LOL it was a very legitimate assumption and question. Take care!
thank you!
Love this!! Alcohol inks are just amazing!
Gorgeous!
I wondered why you were going back and forth to the dictionary page. That was cool and inspiring. Loved it.
I love this idea

Love it!
Thanks for video, going to play with my alcohol inks today 🤗
I love this DLP page! I'm so far off of this week it's unreal! Every time I get another week done and I'm a little closer..it ends up getting around to a Saturday again and we get another challenge!! Haha, but I do love doing it!
The colours on this page are so pretty 😍😍 xXx
+Lucy Phillips Yeah, I know what you mean about the weeks zooming by. But we have to learn to be forgiving -- there's nothing we can do about time. Thanks and have a wonderful week, my friend!
+creationsceecee that is true! I got stressed out about it in the beginning but it doesn't bother me so much now!
What's your favourite colour(s)? 😉😜😘
beautiful!!!
I like to see how your creative mind works..
I'm thinking frame in one of those frames that have glass on both sides and hang it in the window. Or put a light behind it to make a magical lightbox...
Beautiful
Fun!!! I don't have any alcohol inks yet, but they are in my future! Thank you! I saved the link!
Fabulous tutorial!!! TFS...
love it
Gorgeous, I just love Alcohol ink
OOOOOOOOO. I really love vellum (which means I have lots) Did something very similar with alcohol inks on yupo paper. I think I got the idea from an article in a cloth paper scissors magazine. However I didn't use a straw; but I will now. It's almost 1 am here in southern California, so it will have to wait for morning. Thanks cee cee and I love your work.
Very beautiful ‼️💝
Wow, that's amazing. I love it. Thanks for sharing :)
+Dee Smith My pleasure, Dee!
Gorgeous! I've missed you!
I use this paper for fashion design sketches, it is a cool idea to use for mixed media, I think I will than have to glue it to bristol paper because it is so fragile. but I love to work on tnis paper, especially with markers
What a fun way to use alcohol inks!! :)
Love this !!!!going to try this but i think i will use an air brush in stead😂
Very cool xx
+Scrapitydoodah thank you, Lynn!
can you use oil of spike lavender and linseed oil instead of the odorless mineral spirits
