    took my sweet time with this one, hence the length. i blocked the colors, doodled, refined, masked, refined some more and then some. this was totally self indulgent and i hope you'll enjoy!

    I love this piece so much! When I get totally engaged with a piece I'm working on, there is this joy that I find, and I am grateful. I love a piece like this because it has taken on a life of its own. And such personality!

    That turned out to be the most amazing piece of art! I didn’t like it at all until you did all the interesting lines and doodles. It looks like a multi layered piece with peacocks and many wonderful things in it, like a hidden painting that you never get tired of studying to find hidden gems. Wow!!

    Had no idea how you could possibly transform all that purple into a work of art ... but booom ... many hours later I'm sure ... the transformation is stunning.

    WOW! It was amazing to watch the process from a large purple "mass" to this funky retro piece of art! Wow totally amazing. And to think you made it from something you didn't like very much. So much work involved in making this piece but it was definitely worth it. Love love love.... Thank you for sharing.

    This project was so intriguing! I loved every minute of it. When you started the trees, I thought... hhmm "FIVE in the Forest".
    You've got such talent!!! It just oozes from you.
    And when you talk I feel like you and I are painting, and doodling, and being silly together! You probably have that affect on most all your patrons and followers!
    Thank you, CeeCee! You make my every day so bright and lively!

    Love this! Name of Island in Hawaii is probably Molokini Island. It’s a go to for snorkeling & diving! Also wanted to share with you that until COVID, I was teaching an art class at church that I call “fun art”, not fine art! I miss it terribly, but your art style of doodling has been one of our main inspirations! We have had so much fun & everyone actually wanted to to display their work on the bulletin board & as folks came over to parish hall for coffee hour, it they always stopped & enjoyed looking at our experiments! Sigh.....just waiting to be able to get back together! Thank you for what you are doing!

    I agree with Carol S. I saw a giant sea anemone at first and almost had heart failure when trees started appearing. LOL However, it turned out so wonderfully. In Southern California we have trees shaped like these called liquid amber trees. They're called that because in the fall they start turning all different yellows and oranges and look like amber being poured from top to bottom. Maybe liquid amber should be your title :)

    • @creationsceecee
      @creationsceecee  8 років тому +1

      +fran rogo that is so interesting! and i love the name "liquid amber" -- it sounds so poetic and rich in color. i'm going to have to create something around that idea. thanks so much for the inspiration, fran!

I sat down last night to try some doodling on my own and it's amazing how you can think of so many different ways to doodle and I found myself overwhelmed after just a few lines and circles and dots. I never felt the flower(I saw it , just did not feel it) and was happy when you did not go in that direction, I see an awesome purple wave, something representing power to me and I love the outlining, I love the orange pink but not so much the green as it makes me feel "grounded heavy, STOP"..not fluid movement, ( kind of like my life at the moment!! Not that I have any issues or feel stuck in my life choices or anything!HAHA!!)..although I have not finished watching this yet and am only at the "ugh,I have not finished this yet!" part. "Tree Fantasia?" Ha! That literally just popped into my head! Okay, kinda lame LOL! I thought it was cool in the beginning where you were outlining the different color "spots?" in the dark purple areas. I didn't even see the lighter areas; really cool, like magic. I'm probably not making much sense, but anyway it was pretty brave of you to take this on. It's amazing how you got those trees to pop! I really love this piece and thanks so much for sharing! It was so fun to watch your process and (I promise I'll shut up) it reminds me of something similar I'd done a long time ago. This technique just seems so familiar to me. CeeCee! Thank heavens l found this video! I am an art journaler and this is right up my alley! How brilliant is this, l ask you? After having watched your more recent videos, seeing this is like getting a pop of Peter Max after going to an art show. What a treat.

    I am amazed how this turned out. You have a very creative mind, and I enjoyed watching your process. Not sure I have the patience, but I truly love your result. TFS

    The lines take a lot of time but they are worth it, I have used them on Zentangles.
