This is absolutely lovely. I like using vellum also, a d I like the tip of adhering the vellum to some acetate to stabilize the paper. Grand first play with alcohol inks! Thanks so much.

It was the first time, and it wasn’t easy. Alcohol inks are not easy to work with.

bonjour et...bravo! votre création avec les encres est superbes! je ne pensais pas que c 'était possible sur du papier vélin!je pose mes encres uniquement sur du yupo mais du coup j'ai commandé des vélins et je vais essayer demain en suivant votre video. Merci beaucoup!Damien de France
Ouais! Bien sûr, c'est possible, mais vous devez garder à l'esprit que vous ne pouvez pas mettre autant d'alcool que dans le papier yupo, vous éviterez ainsi qu'il ne se froisse.
Love the inks on vellum. I have seen where people have used straws to blow the inks around the page. It makes really cool marks using the straw. You can also use glossy photo paper, contact paper instead of Yupo. I think Yupo is kind of expensive. Thanks for the new technique. I cant wait to try it myself.

I will definitely try with a straw.
I tried with glossy photographic paper and didn’t work so well to me. Maybe it was a bit porous. 🤷🏻♀️
And yes, Yupo is expensive... 🤔 I need to experiment on other surfaces.

Yes, the clear liquid is isopropyl alcohol, cause I couldn’t find blending solution, it’s all sold out in my country.
And the vellum it was just on top of a white watercolor papel for you to see the colors better.

Of course you can try! I like this because I can do perfect round shapes.
What instrument did you use to make the dots
It’s a round embossing tool. 😉
