His voice is sensational here, and he hasn't even declined with age. He can hit some brilliant notes now. He won't class himself as a great singer or guitarist, but I think he's pretty underrated.

Noel in his prime was the greatest stand alone lad with a guitar in hand. I’d rather see him in concert just by himself no band just him and his guitar. My favorite musician in the whole 🌎.
@@jamesfitzgerald6636 I think the point is that he doesn't sing many Oasis songs. This is one of the very few and someone would say he's a better singer than Liam - less destinctive I suppose though.
"Death must be so beautiful. To lie in the soft brown earth, with the grasses waving above one's head, and listen to silence. To have no yesterday, and no tomorrow. To forget time, to forgive life, to be at peace." Oscar Wilde.
Tbh I got so tired of this song by listening to It on the radio that I wasnt aware of how great It is. Listening this acoustic version has opened my eyes. How much passion. Beautiful.
Well they did 7 albums and over 30 singles with enough bsides to make another 3 albums , if you only know don't look back in anger then there's plenty to go and listen to . Noel's done 4 albums by himself as high flying birds and Liam's on his second solo album .
I love when artists we're used to seeing on a huge stage of equipment and musicians, show they're incredible with just a acoustic guitar and a basic microphone. Noel is a real musician.
Try Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds. They've been around for years and are my favourite band. Nick's songwriting is genius and the band is nothing short of brilliant. They really put effort into their music and have another album on the way.
I'm a lifelong Oasis fan and have heard acoustic, live, versions of this song over one thousand times and this one sounds the best. Noel's voice is incredible and the sound in the studio sounds like Abbey Road.
Wow, Howard... Thank you very, very, very much for sharing this masterpiece with us!! More than beautiful, "Don't Look Back in Anger" is a hit of all time, brings nostalgia and strong emotion to me!! Hard not to cry!
Noel, Liam, Oasis in their prime were the best. Their first two albums are classics. Can’t say the same though for their stateside concerts. Liam was often too drunk to sing and he’d pick fights, ruin the show. Still legendary.
I saw Oasis 4X open for the Black Crowes on the "Brotherly Love" tour in the US. Not only did they behave, they were fantastic, and Noel was the engine that made that band go, he was really impressive live.
I wish he would sing like this again sometimes!!! I miss it so much. Just fucking fantastic. This is the voice and style that made me love Noel to begin with. 👍🎧🎶🎵😍

His voice is absolutely incredible here.

The funny thing is now he has much more vocal technique and sings much better
Yet still nothing compared to Liam
@@michaelh8854 Disagree. Liam has frontman energy, but Noel's voice here is better than anytime I've heard Liam sing.

If someone sings a THREE MINUTE song that makes you lose track of time, that’s art.
Well said
You got that right Erika, especially when you listen to it about 8 times in a row...or 9?
So, if I spent three minutes drifting in and out of common time while chanting random numbers…that’s ART?

I swear, The Howard Stern Show has the best live performances.
Jesus Christ this is amazing.
Noel can really rock an acoustic
With a mug like that he kind of has to
Generally find acoustics somewhat boring compared to electrics but Noel brings so much energy to it
Anyone notice he played a diff chord progression from the song to open, rather than the Imagine chords he usually always strummed?
Anyone who plays good guitar can tho, it’s the first thing we learn
He writte all of his songs in acoustic
His voice is sensational here, and he hasn't even declined with age. He can hit some brilliant notes now. He won't class himself as a great singer or guitarist, but I think he's pretty underrated.
