    Scrambler needs an upswept exhaust system. I'm sure a few firms will be making them now. They're available on eBay India and they say you will have them in two weeks. Set of more aggressive off road tyres. And belly pans are available now.
    It will have everything available for swapping over soon. Rear springs etc. I would have liked twin shocks but it is what it is and the engine and high quality finish for £5k means new and old riders will want one. They're still not on all the showroom floors yet. Is there a problem with delivery times. I know pre orders haven't been fulfilled yet to everyone.

      I know that Triumph were concerned with the overall popularity in the UK as we are a lover of big bikes and i think there sales are more typically overseas in countries like India so i can only imagine that as time go's on and more requests are made they will be come more available at branches in the UK. If your generally interested in a purchase or a test ride yourself i would highly recommend yules motorcycles in Blackburn as they offer the bikes with a life time guarantee and have models in stock

    Both are definitly usable on the Motorway/Highway even in the states for short jaunts they definity have enough power. The top speed I've seen some rider's get to on these bikes is about 100mph - 161 kph plenty fast for heighway use I think the only issue would be engine vibration but they can defitly do it.

    • @vikingventuresuk6122
      @vikingventuresuk6122  8 місяців тому

      I would not like to do 100 mph on these bikes, 1 they would probably explode and 2 its just not what the bikes about at all. I think motorway speeds at 70mph would be tolerable but anything over that would be a problem and i say this because usually if we have to go on a motorway its because we have miles to cover at a constant speed of 70/80 mph so high revving single 400 at that speed would not be ideal also there's the matter of weight and this bike feels like a toy its so light and i wouldn't fancy being blown around all over on a busy motorway but thats just me. if people have distance in mind this is not the bike of choice id recommend a larger capacity bike with a wee bit more weight to it

      @@vikingventuresuk6122 I agree I was just stating if someone needed to get on the Highway/Motorway for short stints it can be done on these bikes. I agree I wouldn't want to be one the motorway for longer travel say 50 to 100 miles.

    The rear suspension has pre load adjustment has it ? That should firm it up for heavier riders or carrying pillion passengers.

    Thanks for the review guys. I haven’t heard about the engine performance difference between the two models elsewhere, perhaps it was a specific issue with the engine fitted to that X?

    • @vikingventuresuk6122
      @vikingventuresuk6122  8 місяців тому

      Thanks for the comment fella, after speaking to Triumph it does appear to be an issue with that particular bike and power should be the same across both bikes. Not a very confidence inspiring issue to have though on a new bike!

    • @bazabiker4870
      @bazabiker4870 8 місяців тому

      Initially I was thinking a gearing difference, but I'd have expected the trials to be lower geared & therefore to pull harder/accelerate faster, though that's the opposite of your experience! Can we have a follow up from the dealer as to what the issue is/was, so potential purchasers know what to look for? Any purchasers of said defective bike possibly wouldn't realise an issue, if doesn't ride a 'good' one immediately before or after. Would it be obvious to the dealership at DPI? I expect not, hence it was out as a test bike with the fault.

    at what RPM power/torque is generating matters, in real world you don't achieve 40ps often.

    • @hughphillips1427
      @hughphillips1427 8 місяців тому

      Exactly, I would rather have low down torque, in the real word this is more important.

    • @vikingventuresuk6122
      @vikingventuresuk6122  8 місяців тому +1

      Torque i personally felt was very good for such a small capacity engine with no excessive vibration and pulled cleanly up the entire rev range with a slight increase in power around 4k rpm mark

    Hello! But do you feel any issues yet. Though the product is great.
    Here in India many owners are having issues like Stalling, RPM Fluctuations on idle, Alloy bend, Engine noise. And Brand here are not acknowledging it fully. We would like to here if any issues there. I know its too soon for you to feel as pretty new rides.

      hi fella, thanks for the comment! no ones reported any issues here in the UK yet but your comment will be highlighted so others can see it and hopefully be pre warned of potential issues. Triumph should be taking responsibility and addressing these issues as they owe it to there customers (Same in UK)

      @@vikingventuresuk6122 Agree. Plus here the brand is using sub standard engine oil brand HP Prolube. We are demanding Castrol as they are using castrol in there higher cc engines. But in vain. They deny straightforward. I am enjoying the ride but still these issues making us disappointed.
