I bought the adjustable clutch lever from KTM for 360 as i feel the clutch often comes loose in my speed 400. My next upgarde would be swapping the rear sprocket tooth form 43/42 to 39(T400) for improved touring performance/efficiency as i feel like the 1st,2nd and 3rd are quick
@@rajaero8975 oh I didn't know KTM had that already. Yes first 3 gears are very short. Let me know how does it perform once you change it. Thank you for sharing.
I would have assumed that the visor would look better as well, but it doesnt. A friend of mine has a TVS robin, once he installed the oem visor it really added personality. Have a look at that.
@@pucci_seq636 The fuel tank is so small compared to what we usually see in big-capacity bikes. So holding the bike with legs was bit challenging. Adding the pads gave it little more width and helps me better to hold it.
@@arunkrishnankutty53 Radiator already has a mesh guard mounted as stock. I don't see any necessary to change it with accessory one. They say accessory one is made of some metal and stock one is plastic. Well, I rode it 8k kms now. No issues on radiator. So I don't think it adds value. Sump guard depends on how you use your bike. For my purpose its purely long highway rides. Strictly road based rides. I don't do off road until unless the roads are blocked and I had to take a alternative route as off road. So far I never managed to touch the underbody whatsoever the speed bump was or the bad roads which I faced. The bike has good ground clearance. So for my use I wouldn't need it. If you ride your bike off road with heavy rock around or deep water crossing where you wont be able to see the rocks under water, then yeah the accessory sump guard is a great tool to protect your oil sump. But also keep in mind, if that's your use case, then better choice would be a scram 400x with long suspension travel or a Himalayan with those tires can handle those better. Or a xpulse.
@@arunkrishnankutty53 Great choice. I also went for scram 400, looking at its road presence. But when I rode both back to back, speed 400 won my heart.
@ not at all brother. If they resist, just get the part and DIY. Its just 4 screws. Technically these bikes have same rear subframe. Even their top box accessory is same for both the bikes. They didn't make 2 different mounting frame for it. Its same for both. In that case wont that damage the thread. I don't know why they are so stubborn!

The triumph configurator does not show the twin exhaust as an option for the speed 400 anymore. Can it still be added?

Do these have better visibility (i.e. less vibrations ) on higher speeds compared to stock ones?
