Omg this video could not have came at a more perfect time. I just started skateboarding because of you about 3 days ago, and I'm learning fast thanks to you!! Already learned the shuv it and now I'm trying to perfect the pop shuv. I love you jonny you're an inspiration to me :)
the pop-shove-it hand shove with or without a footplant was called a "get back" when I started skating in the 90s.. its like the board got away and yo uget it back.
Giger, I am always impressed in many positive ways! A video I would like to see you do is, "Tips for Board/Nose/Tail Slides. " Jonny Giger is the best baby, lets go!
I don't have a good area for skating, but my understanding of tricks and footwork has improved watching you these last 4 months. I can't wait until I can put all of this to use. Much love, and stay safe! Edit: Nevermind, I can do the laying down version
Mika P. Skateboard is about Progression. If you land a new trick it is an awesome feeling. For you that might be a double tre late shove. For others it’s landing a pop-shove.
That one foot shove looks like something I might try, I still can’t consistently Ollie but somehow that looks doable... I might be wrong though. Will have to try.
Could you do a routine video where you show what kind of workout/stretches and such you do? Now that i am almost 30 years old, i notice that my body is more prone to getting hurt.
I definitely wanted to see some frontside shuv variations because I’ve been learning some lately! I’ve been accidentally almost doing and would like to see you do a frontside shuv it backside body varial & also frontside heel flip (half flip) late Casper flip!
started skating 6 months ago some how found your content and been a fan since also I had no clue there where this many pop shove it variations thank you for this vid
Jonny, loved it. Maybe 10 nocomply variations? I'm a longboarder and most of us start out with nocomplys while skateboarders find them quite difficult. Should be fun to see what you come up with. Love your channe mate!
10 ways to heelflip would be useful, for some reason I'm a lot closer to getting consistent at those than any other trick right now, so it would be cool to see a few variations I can try when I'm getting bored of not landing regular heelflips lol. Also I think a bit of a p.o.v video skating from point a to point b would be good, a lot of people never really use their board outside of the park, and they wonder why they lack control. Giving them a little view of how much fun it can be just moving round doing little Ollies up curbs or wheelies etc might help get the point across that, the more you play on the board, the more your body understands it.
this is awesome ive never seen anyone do #4 before but me but i do it frontside instead of backside and i feel you on the first try i never do it and but when i do it always get it first try super fun easy trick props on it man that got me hyped im not the only one doing nosegrab shoves especially a variation of the one frontside one i do. GREAT VIDEO MAN!!!!
Given that we call a flip with your hand a fingerflip, it makes sense to me to call a shove with your hand... a fingershove! Your vids are dangerously close to getting me (back, sorta) into skating. I love the combination of professionalism and dedication along with the irreverence.
Jonny giger could you perhaps make a Tutorial on how to do the Mike mo unpossible? I’ve been having trouble with this trick and can’t seem to figure it out
i skated in junior high, 93-95' wasn't very good, Varial Kickflip was my best trick. but i've been watching your videos the last few weeks and want to buy a skateboard again at 40 years old now, haha. thank you.
Hey dude .... what ankle supports are you running ? Rolled my ankle in half yesty n think it’s time to give em a fighting chance !!! Was only doing a fakie shuv too haha cheers for any help mate !!! Keep up the good work
Dang, I was reeaaallllly hoping to see a pop shuv (bs) body varial (fs) revert (bs). Can't find any video of anyone doing it and kind of disappointed you didn't do it for some reason 🤣
Yo man I want to know the top10 tricks on your bucketlist. Like the ones you cannot do yet, but intend to work towards. You dont even have to do them yet, just clips from your favourite street parts and such. Just an idea
Good pop on that hang ten shuv! Try a proper hang ten bigspin pls. Was way to easy for you😅 Thanks for the inspiration! we should already call YOU "the professor" Jonny🤙🤩
Jonny, pop-shovit tends to make you land always rather in front of you, right? Never makes you land on the back side of you, right? How much back-side could you land a pop-shovit? Can you make your record on it? I discovered this issue, when I had only 55 cm peace of concrete strip (the only skateable surface at our country-side living). I wonder how would you call it? A alley-oop pop-shovit?
You’re a great man for mentioning Elaine 🙏🏻
She was a goat but it was her time to come. Hopefully she's enjoying her time in heaven
cruise.by. bran I know she is. She’s probably up there skating right now lol
That shove it late varial blew my mind. Great stuff, as always!
It’s like dissecting a tre flip.
How about Rodney's impossible late varial flip?
ua-cam.com/video/VeDvaSCXmao/v-deo.html

Omg this video could not have came at a more perfect time. I just started skateboarding because of you about 3 days ago, and I'm learning fast thanks to you!! Already learned the shuv it and now I'm trying to perfect the pop shuv. I love you jonny you're an inspiration to me :)
I swear Johnny's skating has gotten better this year. Dont know how thats possible
would love to see more- different shovs with body varials, front side shovs, fs and bs nose shovs...
Jonathan Parlane that’s what I was expecting, too
shuvs* ?
That first pop shove it hit the ground so hard it woke me up. That’s why i’m so early here!!
How about 10 types of getting up a curb. including the crazy, nosebonk ways.
The definition of Giger should be pure steez because thats all I am seeing! Great video as usual. Keep shredding Jonny
Hey Johnny, thanks for sharing your knowledge and talent, your channel is really cool. Hugs from Finland 🇫🇮
the pop-shove-it hand shove with or without a footplant was called a "get back" when I started skating in the 90s.. its like the board got away and yo uget it back.
Wow kinda like a shifty ?
July 10th will always be Shuvit day for Elaine, as today would’ve been her birthday ❤️
such a nice touch for mentioning her 👏👏👏
Giger, I am always impressed in many positive ways! A video I would like to see you do is, "Tips for Board/Nose/Tail Slides. " Jonny Giger is the best baby, lets go!
in all the wide angle shots he looks like he's in a video game! soo cool!
He’s the closest to Rodney that we have today

Woooooo happy birthday Elaine 🇨🇦 Misses you!! Thanks Jonny! You rule bro
the color grading of your video is spot on
I don't have a good area for skating, but my understanding of tricks and footwork has improved watching you these last 4 months. I can't wait until I can put all of this to use. Much love, and stay safe!
Edit: Nevermind, I can do the laying down version
I just landed a Shove It 2 days ago c:
I had already done it, but almost a year ago and I was not constant
What? I had the same problem!
Shuvit is so easy trick, why are you even telling about it
Mika P. Skateboard is about Progression. If you land a new trick it is an awesome feeling. For you that might be a double tre late shove. For others it’s landing a pop-shove.
@@vecchioutente and I said it wasn't? both times I made it in less than an hour, but from that first time I left the skate until a couple of days ago
@@Krmpfpks Absoluty bro
That one foot shove looks like something I might try, I still can’t consistently Ollie but somehow that looks doable... I might be wrong though. Will have to try.

Could you do a routine video where you show what kind of workout/stretches and such you do?
Now that i am almost 30 years old, i notice that my body is more prone to getting hurt.

Awesome video Jonny! Definitely would like to see more videos like this
Given that we call a flip with your hand a fingerflip, it makes sense to me to call a shove with your hand... a fingershove!
Your vids are dangerously close to getting me (back, sorta) into skating. I love the combination of professionalism and dedication along with the irreverence.
Do it!
I love to watch your videos!! You are funny and really motivating. Keep the good vibes
Jonny giger could you perhaps make a Tutorial on how to do the Mike mo unpossible? I’ve been having trouble with this trick and can’t seem to figure it out
Me: *can't do Ollie while moving*
Also me: LeT's SeE, hOw CaN i Do A pOp ShUvIt?
I learned pop shuvits moving first, you can do it my dude
My friend learned Pop shuvit first lool
I could land a moving nollie shuv before a moving Ollie lol
Pop shuvit is actually much easier than ollie.
I’m in the same boat
I DIDNT KNOW IT WAS SHUVIT DAY?!?!?! i literally JUST started practicing shuvits today!!!
I love the master Roshi grip tape man.
i skated in junior high, 93-95' wasn't very good, Varial Kickflip was my best trick. but i've been watching your videos the last few weeks and want to buy a skateboard again at 40 years old now, haha. thank you.
Number 1 was sick

Hey dude .... what ankle supports are you running ? Rolled my ankle in half yesty n think it’s time to give em a fighting chance !!! Was only doing a fakie shuv too haha cheers for any help mate !!! Keep up the good work
Hand shuv was sick.
I believe #4 is varial because in vertical skating they would use their hand to shuv the board back might be wrong but not totally sure
Thanks for the upload those tricks were awesome
I love you jhonny, I think if you sign up in the next battle at the berrics, u will win
These types of videos are great
Dang, I was reeaaallllly hoping to see a pop shuv (bs) body varial (fs) revert (bs).
Can't find any video of anyone doing it and kind of disappointed you didn't do it for some reason 🤣
Cmon with the Master Roshi. Love it

Yo man I want to know the top10 tricks on your bucketlist. Like the ones you cannot do yet, but intend to work towards. You dont even have to do them yet, just clips from your favourite street parts and such. Just an idea

Try a proper hang ten bigspin pls.
Was way to easy for you😅

6:01 me and my friends were trying this and we named it Fingerpori, cuz it's like Finger Shuvit, and Fingerpori is a local comic strip here

Nice skatin Johnny !! 🙂
Hi, do you think you can land a Hang Ten Pop Shove It with a 360 Body Varial?
Would be so nice 🙏😎
Have you tried to land a kickflip in a ramp like bucky lasek used to do?
BTW your videos are awesome!
Just realized how much you say “land primo and die”
Shuvit over cancer 👏🏻
What a cool deck! Mutenroshi!:D
