@@lory469 It is difficult indeed, but you can exaggerate it. Never forget, skateboarding is difficult in general. But difficulty is relative the same way as space and time. If a trick is easy or not, mainly depends on if you mastered it yet.

3:56 The old-school flip, do you also push with your other foot the board down? Because for me I found it to be a combination of pushing on one side and pulling on the other so that the board lands under me and not behind me if I just pull. But looking at you I definitely should re-examine my foot positioning, my stance is an unstable equilibrium state XD :D
Has anyone mentioned the Monkey Flip in the comments? Where you grab the side of the board and use your hand to flip the board under you. This was an old-school freestyle finger flip.
Don't forget pressure kickflip, kickflip sexchange, kickflip to crossfoot and crossfoot kickflip, nocomply kickflip, no comply curb bonk kickflip(whatever that is called), and kickflip side heelflip if that counts? And what haslam did recently, the knee kickflip
3:05 that was my beginner kickflip lol. i knew what a kickflip looked like but for whatever reason when i was learning them my foot position was more narrow and back like that and thats just how i did them

I’ve been skating for almost 2 weeks and when I try to kick flip I always do a rocket flip and almost popsicle myself, the only thing I can really do is olie on a box and 180 out, or that’s the coolest thing I can do, but I’ll keep trying to work on those kickflips😉
I'm curious as to when late flips began.. I've been skating since 2001 and I never saw one up to 2009. So within a 10 yr window late flips became common.
I remember my 1st board ever. I walk more than 10 miles to the local Walmart. Bought a fake board and “tried” to ride it all the way home. Last me a month or so. I actually learn my Ollie on it even though the grip tape sucks ass. TIPS ; Smaller board flips faster. Sometimes all you need is to see progress and that smaller board can help you. 👌🏼

smaller boards will make your flip foot sometimes land under the nose.. I did this once and wrecked my ankle .. nahh bad advice.
