In today's Reptiliatus "Feeding Fridays" video, I fed my Mini Dragons (Tribolonotus skinks)! Join me as we observe little families of red-eyed crocodile skinks (Tribolonotus gracilis) and white-eyed crocodile skinks (Tribolonotus novaeguineae) coming out of hiding to eat! These skinks are truly living mini dragons! I hope you enjoy it!

Your mini dragons have come so far! Your patience, love, patience, dedication, and did I mention patience? - have clearly paid off. Thanks for all your hard work to get such awesome footage for us. ❤
Thank you so much!
Watching the one eat out of your hand, so adorable! 😊
She's awesome! Sappy ✨
I agree 100%!! I had the goofiest smile on my face. Watching by myself. 😂
Awww Sappy is so cute! I love how long she was hanging out with you! 🥹
Such cute lizards!
They truly are! Thanks brother!
Ok now that I've actually watched the video I must say, I love the way they just stood there on your hand chomping on the meal worms. I absolutely agree, white-eyed are very underrated. I think I will go back and rewatch all of the mini-dragon episodes and hope I find some at the expo I am going to at the end of the month!
QOTD - Out of all of my animals I would have to say my Cockatiel (his name is Cooper),is the shyest of all my animals. I've had him for 9 years and he still freaks out every time I open the cage door to feed them. When I have to catch him to clip his wings and nails he draws blood if he manages to bite me.
Thank you so much for watching! I hope your cockatiel comes around over time!
Love these croc skinks.
Me too! Thanks for watching!
So many times I think about how long it must take to get the Red eye footage. It’s much appreciated. I love them!😍 QOTD…My male Ball Python, Darwin. Lol
Thank you so much! I appreciate it! It’s a lot! 🙏🏼
White eye are so brave! Love em
They def are bolder! Me too!
The shiest pet I've ever cared for was a feral foster cat. We tried to socialize her but really had no clue what we were doing. She hid all day and came out only at night, and when we forced interaction on her she was basically just a frightened unresponsive lump the whole time. We eventually convinced a farmer we knew to adopt her, so she became a barn cat and we assume much happier with less human interaction.
I only have a leopard gekko (named Chrystal), and he is not too shy, but feeding is a different story: he only eats at night
This might be a various of questions.... lol
How long did this take to get them this active? What were your methods to get your red-eye skinks to become less shy to come out more and interact with you? Lastly, to hand feed them?
Because my red-eye skink will hide FOREVER, and I honestly don't know if she's eating or drinking water. 😅 I'm struggling here. Any tips would be grateful!! 🙏🏼
You do have very beautiful species of spiders and some of the reptiles to my liking are incredibly colorful. Great job, I've recommended your channel to a few of my friends and my cousins so you'll have a few more subscribers as well as I just subscribed, keep up the great content. So far you and one other channel I subscribe too yall have the prettiest and best content of your variable species. Thank you
Thank you! Will do! I really appreciate your support and that you shared my channel with your friends! That means so much to me!
Yes!!! I've been waiting for mini-dragons! I absolutely love the croc skinks and you of course! I prefer the white-eyed over the red, but both are wonderful. These are my dream now. I just don't know if I will ever be able to afford a pair.
Glad you like them! Thank you so much for watching and supporting! I hope you can work with them someday!
I love hearing the darts in the bg
Haha, I'm glad 😅!
Dude i havent seen u come up on my page in years. I thought u had quit making videos. Glad to see ur doin good and still into reptiles
Thanks for the support! Been posting steady for many years again! Hope you enjoy! 🙏🏼
Great video, my friend!
Thank you, bro! 🙏🏼
I have a young Pandinus Imperator, named Boogie. She's getting less shy over time but is to this day incredibly skittish, sometimes she comes out of her hole to hang out under a cork piece close to where her heat mat is, but if I make a loud enough knock or she feels any air motion at all, she'll dart back in like lightning. I'm hoping she mellows out as she gets older and grows larger, if only to make tong feeding her less of a chore, haha.
I'm sure there are creatures that are generally more skittish, but probably not by much.
Currently, corydoras are the shyest animal i can think of XD we have a community tank and since we added our apple snails and guppies the corys have been very timid.
Sunbeam snake/xenopeltis unicolor, super shy snake
I just learned about the Vietnamese mossy frog! Are you familiar? They are adorable!!!
They are amazing frogs, yes!
My family of Pygmy spiny tailed skinks are quite shy they like to wedge themselves in tight cracks
Those are very cool animals!
Hello, I love your animals and would love to see The leachies getting more attencion. Could you for example do a enclosure make over for them so they could get fresh plants and etc. Love you.♥️♥️❤️🦎🦎
Thanks for the idea! I've had something in mind for a long time actually!
Them Skinks are very healthy looking. Is there a difference in the care between the white eye and the redeye but they both look extremely good
Neat feeding. ❤
Thank you!
Great video as always
Thank you! Nice seeing you guys :)
@@Reptiliatus yes its always nice to see you at the expo.
These are so cute i love them its so interesting to watch them eat😍unfortunatly i dont have any space left for another geckos or lizzards🙁
Thank you!
Sup bro I just love all your amazing videos and animals I love the feeding videos keep up the good work bro have a good afternoon
Thanks! You too! I appreciate your support!
I bet this video was hard to get footage of lol, my croc skink enclosure has a camera attached to it so I can occasionally catch a glimpse of him, other wise i just look at a bunch of plants while listening to a water filter ha
Haha; thank you for noticing! Yes, very hard as I described at the start 😂😅!
Probably a tie between my OBT & green tree frog 😂 they both get as far away from me as possible any time i even approach the enclosures.
Hello great video information and feeding Dayyan
Many many thanks!
Hey, nice video as usual! What is that bowl you are using for the worms? Looks great as worms won't escape...would love one for my leopard gecko
Wednesday i put a pair of red eyed crocodile skink in a 40 gallon enclosure. I hope Kalyiah & Borka do good in there and I put my other female Anya in a 20 gallon hoping she do good too
wonderful! Fingers crossed for you!
Try wildcraft! It's my favorite animal game! 🐺
Ooo thanks for the suggestion!
@@Reptiliatus your welcome! It would be awesome to play it with you!
hey i’m recently watching your content and love it, i’m debating if i should get a crested gecko or a tokay gecko
Thank you! That’s up to you! Do lots of research and learn about which animal you’d prefer owning and feel you can keep best!
@@Reptiliatus thank you for replying i did lots of research and i think i’m leaning on crested gecko because this will be my 2nd lizard so maybe next time i’ll get a tokay or bearded
Hey Reptiliatus could you suggest any Gekko or lizard that you would consider cohabbing with the geoemyda spengleri. I have a pretty good sized enclosure. Greetings from Germany, love the Videos
My 2 female tokays are super shy run away every time i walk past the enclosure my male on the other hand is almost like tiki
Haha, so funny they have such different personalities!
i got my little one last week and she won’t eat anything i give her. i tried small crickets and then switched to mealworms after not seeing her eat, and she still won’t touch her food :( do you have any recommendations of how i can make sure she eats ?
Why aren’t they in the paludarium tanks anymore? I just got a RECS and saw your video and was considering it. But i see they aren’t in them anymore. Is there a reason?
Was that loud trilling noise the animals in that vivarium vocalizing?
haha, those are frogs in the background singing :)!
Ahhhhh Thank you! I knew the tokays communicate but I hadn’t heard anything about the red eyed dragons doing that. Lol
First
wahoo!
Second
bravo!
Do I need to gut load for my jumping spider?
It's not really necessary but it's better if you do 🕷
@@SpiderFan3000 Thanks! I have a bold jumper named Panther. 🕷️
My shyest pet is one of my Cyriocosmus elegans juveniles 🧡. Since their latest rehouse they have become a pet hole 💀. At least they poke their little toes out of the burrow when they're hungry lol
Dwarf tarantulas are adorable! Maybe it'll come round!
@@Reptiliatus irk they're so cute! The C elegans also show their adult coloration so quickly it's amazing. My other C elegans is always out and about. Crazy to see how personality can differ even between sac mates!
