Clownfish, hermit crabs, sea urchins, and so much more! Over the past 100 days, I documented my little chunk of the ocean. Watch as it transforms from a barren wasteland into a thriving ecosystem!
Thanks to your support, I was able to donate $10,000 to the Coral Restoration Foundation. They are on a mission to help rebuild and restore natural reefs. If you want to donate, visit www.coralrestoration.org/ - Домашні улюбленці та дикі тварини

it's so cool! there's lots of relationships like this in nature, check out 'symbiosis' :) A cool example is cleaner fish and sharks, or mantis shrimps and gobies :)
ikr? its really fascinating that these two wildly different animals help eachother out.
Ironically, they actually ARE, their very evolution is shaped by each other.

it's actually insane how you're able to simulate these natural processes of life in a controlled environment, your videos are amazing! it would be so fascinating to get a process video documenting the steps involved in making something like this (from sourcing materials and animals, research into their lives/feeding habits, filming set up etc)
Love how you made aware of what’s happening to our reefs , big ups and amazing video.
He takes a break (Maybe 20 days)
He gets the idea (Maybe 1 day)
He buys the tank/flowers/animals (Maybe 7 days)
He builds the whole thing and makes sure it doesn't collapse (Maybe 1 day)
He records the video (100 days)
He makes the commentry (Maybe 3 days)
He edits the video (Maybe 7 days)
He adds the finishing touches (Maybe 1 day)
Total: 140 days to make a 14 minute video
This is a person that deserves the quote "Can we appreciate how much time he puts in his videos?"
Of course it takes a long time he can’t be making 100 day simulations every single day
I'm sure he works on multiple videos at a time. That would be 2 or 3 videos a year with that logic... But yes he still does a tremendous amount of work just for a 14 min video.
He pays attention to his wife (0 minutes)

This channel is better than most National Geographics documentaries, brother is showing me animals i might have never seen in my lifetime.
Great Channel
It’s like a National Geographic documentary tho for sure his narration is great :)
Everything he’s keeping in there is available across the country in fish stores. He did a good job, but it’s not that special. I have a tank just like it but the corals are much bigger. The nassarius snails are bad for the fauna long term in an enclosed ecosystem. The lightening mode on the lights is also unnecessarily stressful for the fish. I never use mine.
@@bendover9021 ok buddy but could u edit and narrate a video like this into something people would actually enjoy

I really love this video. From the amazing cinematic to the detailed commentary and narration, this video shows how important our ecosystems really are. In this particular video, I like how you simulated a hurricane, and added in new parts to the ecosystem on particular days. This video has inspired me to learn more about the world around us, and I’m ever so grateful we have videos like these on the internet. 🎉 What blew me away was the cooperation between the goby fish and pistol shrimp! 🦐 It’s so crazy how they were able to adapt to live together, without talking like us humans. Thank you for this video! ❤

Having worked over 10 years in the aquarium industry I understand how much money you invested into this reef and video. I really enjoyed the macro shots of the corals opening. Though seeing that maxima clam be eaten at 8:30 sent actual pain through my body. Thank you spreading awareness of coral reefs dying and donating to help restore them.
I love how you make natural disasters happen such as a hurricane to get them used to life in the true ocean, even simulating day and night!Well done! And even when you add new animals that even prey on the other lives in the tank, it’s the healthiest tank I’ve ever seen!

I have been watching this guys videos for about 1-2 years and this channel is so calming.
That last part is really sad cause we are losing our reefs. Many ppl don’t understand how important reefs are to our eco system. When ppl see my tank it’s an educating opportunity for me to teach them about the oceans. It’s not just for display and fun, but a great way to teach others about our oceans and why they are important.
