Thats an incredible room with equally stunning husbandry. Its so refreshing to see someone who owns a bunch of reptiles and doesnt keep them in rack systems.

Amazing Reptile Room for sure, I can only imagine how incredible your new one must be. Your definitely making alot of us down here in the states jealous. New subscriber and fan here for sure, well done.
Amazing collection of lizards and snakes -- beautiful, healthy, and quite outgoing. (Not too keen on the spiders, but that's just me.) I appreciate your comment about the work that goes into keeping healthy animals; most beginners dont understand this.
Depends on the animal! The snakes aren’t messy, so I rarely need to clean the glass. The geckos who can stick on the glass tend to make a mess, so I clean theirs more frequently!
4:10 As someone with Spina Bifida whose spine was similar before corrective surgery, I can confirm this does affect him even if it doesn’t appear to. You don’t live with something like that and not be affected.
You’re right! I have a sister with severe physical and mental disabilities and I understand the complications and troubles that may accompany that. When I mentioned that my snake is not affected by his deformity, my intentions were not to disregard the influences of disability. It was a quick statement to reassure my viewers that, despite his deformity, he is healthy and moves comfortably (as confirmed by a veterinarian). He has an adapted enclosure to suit his physical capabilities and I feed him small portions more frequently to reduce the size of the “food lump” he must pass. I have his best interest at heart! Thanks for watching!

Hi, I’m not being critical, just curious…you forgot to say what the blue garter snake is at the end of the video; housed with the checkered garter snake. Thanks : )
Hey Kayla! Excellent video. My fav is Bindi! In terms of snakes though, do you have any plans of ever owning anything very venomous like a West African Gaboon Viper?
Thank you so much! 😊 Unfortunately not! I live in Canada where it’s illegal to keep highly venomous snakes. “Hot” snakes can only be kept by licensed zoological or research facilities.
Very nice. I had 2 emerald green tree skinks. They were very good eaters. I remember feeding them pinkies once in awhile. Mine I do not remember being very friendly. I also had a bunch of tarantulas. Hey I’m looking into building a bio active vivarium and noticed the plants in groot’s are dying. Were his plants hard to care for? Or did he just not like them?
No, the plants are not difficult to care for! I removed some of the original plants and replaced them with more branches instead. I noticed that he couldn’t grip onto the plants very well and preferred spending time on the hardscape. So I made some changes to make his enclosure more comfortable for him and offer more usable space!
