When we talk about food being used to produce energy - we are not talking about liveliness. Energy in the food sense means units of heat ,which sustains us for sure but don't make us want to jump about.
This is why we are always warmer (but very rarely livelier) after a meal.
If we want to be 'energetic' in the physical sense, dieticians recommend a no-carb diet which doesn't tax the digestion as carbs and sugars do.
Low or no carbs (or even fasting) will help us feel what Lee is talking about: mental clarity and bodily vivacity. Qi Gong certainly helps this process.
So when food manufacturers say their food will "give you energy" they rely on us not knowing the difference between the two meanings of "energy", so we assume it to mean get-up-and go.

After h polri infection I couldn't digest anything. I could barely eat, had sever gastritis. Nothing I ate digested. Multiple food allergies. I got Lee's digestion workshop did it 3x a week. 6 months later I can now eat whatever I want and rarely bloat or have any issues. So worth it!
Congrats how long did it take you to heal? And would you say it was down to a convo of this and a bland diet. I am in a similar situation and struggling with chest pain acid etc post treatment and loosing hope
Omy gosh, H Pylori post gallbladder surgery here. Food sits, bloat builds, and low back pain locks me down.

He is a scientist that has figured out how to reach people to heal the unhealable. I also did Holdens Qigong healing sounds mixed with Digestion workshop 6x a week. @@my_2_cents_ hi... also sounds like you might investigate and try 30min pre meal ACV with mother- in water maybe stevia if you hate without... and after meal HCL/pepsin caps and/or ox bile caps with meals. I've used those around navel pressure points in an acupressure way and they have helped me but effect was twmporary. I needed more intervention and stomach should be very acidic with ensuing bile release as you eat

So I've had this weird issue happening to me for awhile now it used to be once here and there for years. And now it's happening a couple times a month. I get terrible sulfuric burps sometimes less then a day lasting sometimes 2 to 3 days. That was tolerable right up until the painful bloating and cramps. If I'm laying down for any period of time as soon as those pains hit me I have to get up and the burp that leaves me is so loud and so so long. Of course accompanied with these burps are farts. But not long after all these things start the farts cannot and I mean absolutely cannot be trusted. 3 to 4 days of sporadic diarrhea. Which is the opposite of what I have gone through in that area my entire life. I lived my whole life constipated and only having a bowel movement a couple times a week. Which is what my doctor has told me repeatedly "my norm"

Essentially yes, but our body is energy manifested into matter, which needs to be supported and maintained with qi.

Wow, my pain got softer. I went to a A&E after 3rd day unexplained pain in left hip, unable to fully enhale (I'm on a long term autoimmune treatment so on a watch for side effects). Internally I felt A&E is a waste of time, run out, ate nourishing soup, sipping Chinese herb concussion and acupuncture later. To give my body the power to fix itself.
