Thanks for this video. Totally changed how I look at buying coffins. I was about to buy a rev7 coffin but I think I want one like yours and just customize it to fit the rev7. Also do you have a video of the install on that LED Light on your case? If not I'd love to see how you did it
What is the flight case model? I’m looking to build out a coffin and like this setup, as I use a smaller controller. Would like to have a case like this with a mixer prewired as well.
The only part that’s confusing is when you said that you will connect the dj mixer yo the the subs and the tops to the Yamaha mixer. How do you get sound from your dj mixer to your top speakers. It makes a lot of sense. Please explain. Thank you. Really liked your video.
That was pretty good video. I am going to be doing some product videos on some of my dj gear soon, just got set some time to get everything together. I have anew pair of headphones that I want to do a review on but I need practice on what I'm going to talk about. Don't want to look like a dork. Also I found some speak on connectors in my parts box that I bought a longtime ago that I have no use for. I will send them to you if you want them. I don't remember why I bought them for.
Thank you! And definitly go for it with the product videos. Your first videos will always be a little rough, and that's perfectly ok. Also keep in mind you can edit the videos. I was nervous for my first couple, but once you realize you can do as many takes as you need, and edit out all the mistakes after, it gets easier. I watched youtube videos on "how to do product videos". That helped alot. Thanks for the offer on the speak on connector. I don't really need it though as my speakers are all powered, so I use XLR cables. I look forward to seeing your first video!
The RCA and the XLR outputs are connected to the master volume. So how are you adjusting the subs without adjusting the tops? If you were using the record output it would work that way. But most controllers don't have record outputs.
Very Nice Sir really appreciated the opportunity to watch you work
Great video, just what i needed, super helpful
I appreciate your knowledge on how to do this
Suggest trading that mixer for a rane mlm82a and mounting under controller for more flush setup
Cool video. Very thorough. Thanks 4 sharing.
You're welcome! Happy you found it useful.

Awesome video. I am getting ready to do that as well.
Great job buddy, I love it

Isn't there some standard protective cover for the NAC3MPA-1 (the part that goes into the case itself)? Or is heatshrinking it the only way?
the neutrik SCDR is a boot that goes on the back but it costs extra
Great video. Now days with shielding in XLR, power causing interference with audio signals is more or less and myth.
Thank you!
That's about what I figured.
Great video. What kind of tubing did you use for your headphone hanger? Thanks
Hi Logan, I used brake line. Lol
@@DJHuckmonkey oh wow ok cool. Looks like 3/16" steel line?
Size sounds about right. It's the flexible stuff. Copper inside i believe.
That’s smart keeping the mic out of the subs too lower feedback I’m sure, wow
Do the subs cause feedback? I didn’t know that. I might try that
btw. Sick coffin set up too.
Well done sir 🙌
Exactly what i needed. Thanks for the helpful video.
thanks for the video! This is exactly what I'm about to try.
tape your xlr and maybe have someone run a vacuum for WHILE drilling
I didn't have someone to help. I got it cleaned up good though. Thanks for the feedback.
Also, why would I make a mess of it with tape when heat shrinks work well?
@@DJHuckmonkey think he was referring to while drilling so you didn’t get dust on the connector
Ahh, fair point. That makes sense, and is good advice.
Nice setup bro.....
Thank you!
hey, where did you get that powercon?
I'm pretty sure I got them on amazon. I'll see if I can post a link.

Very nice
Thanks!
The case is nicer than the DJ controller
dont mount power that close to XLR
