Hello DJs! Welcome to my channel, "Back 2 DJing". The goal of this channel as a DJ who is just getting back into the game after close to 20 years, is to help other starting out DJs find their way in this business as I sort through it myself. I plan on vlogging my progress from close to scratch as a starter DJ in todays computer/electronic (and covid) age (I learned on Vinyl and CD in the 90's). I will be providing tutorials, reviews of DJ equipment and gear, starting out business tips as I learn them along the way, lighting tips, ect. Anything I find that could be useful to a starter mobile DJ. I also plan on creating content geared toward fellow You tube DJs, providing insights and tips for growing your DJ related You tube channel

There will be a channel with quarter inch jack inputs (female holes) on the mixer. You should get a quarter inch jack combination meaning left and right on one end that will have a headphone jack on the other end of the wire. Get the appropriate attachment that will fit on the other end of the wire so it will plug into your phone. That is the ideal back up solution in case anything goes wrong with your controller or computer. It will help you keep the party going while you troubleshoot. In many cases you will only need to plug 1 quarter inch jack in Mono (left hole of the mixer in most cases) since your phone is only providing one signal. Hope this helps.

If you doing gigs then yes a mixer is a good upgrade. I want to try route the DDJ200 to a mixer with USB input then use asio on laptop to give me 2 separate channels for headphones and output.

I have the ddj flx6 and am curious if the RCA ro 1/4 into the mixer will still create an unbalance audio? And if so, is it possible to even get it balanced without an XLR direct from deck to mixer to speaker?

I think the djm-750 from pioneer would do that trick. Or even a 250mk2 for one turn table and one controller
