Thanks. I too spent 2 days trying to figure out the timing chain setup and then the firing alignment. Until l pulled the recoil it was next to impossible to get the cam position and then the magneto alignment.
The first two marks have no purpose besides letting you know the real marks are coming up. But someone could easily set their timing with those and create many headaches. Why why why lol.
