This is a general overview with recommendation on brands of parts, along with me tuning my turbo 370Z NISMO to over 650whp with a Boosted Performance single turbo kit and 100% stock engine.

The stillen kit is great. Grab a SOHO A2A to go with it and you can hit these numbers np. SC kits are probably more fun with low end torque

@imrudolphmirga_ig686 the vq37 is plenty reliable boosted, with the right tune. SC kits are even more reliable on stock internals since they have smoother torque curves. SC kits just need A2A intercoolers to keep intake temperatures down. More reliable running more power on an A2A than running less power with the water intercooler that comes with the stillen kit

Is there any bolt on mods we can add before adding turbo? Like exhaust, cams, porting upper/lower, ect.? Basically bolt one that can stay on car car even with a turbo,
(for example intakes would have to come off if we turbo it)
only thing i would do is a catback exhaust and i believe theres only like 3 options that works with this kit with no alterations needed.

My g37 x 010 coupe has illegals headers and an after market y pipe that already screams have the dual k&n or m intake can I turbo it and how muc boost recommended I want mine to stay reliable and engine be able to handle the power my main concern is will I have to upgrade the inner parts or the engine?

A long time. With a good tune, the motor will handle just fine. As long as u stay in the safe zone which for this car is probably no more than 700whp

I was really debating on going full bolt on : intake, headers, exhaust and tune etc. But honestly after seeing this im never going to reach those big numbers staying N/A its just not ganna happen so i will be saving up sum more for a Turbo kit..now ive got to decide between soho or switchback 🤔

If your gonna save just get a full exhaust and intakes and upgrade your clutch you can boost it just like that check out boosted performance on fb
@@885.0ELopez only fbo mod that works with turbo kits is the exhaust. Most turbo kits comes with their own intake system, as well as mid pipes and such. Only exhaust and very few return fuel systems will cross over to the turbo

Hands down Admin is one of the best tuners, all these other fake tuning shops that take forever to complete a email tune and take forever to respond. Meanwhile with Moncef you get fast turn around time and great service overall.

What kind of performance increase can you get from getting upgraded internals along with this tt kit? What would that cost? Do you do installation for them as well?
I did two other videos about the engine I built for this car later on with how much power it made afterwards. The final numbers were nearly 840whp.

500 MAX but thats pushing it if your daily driving and always hitting boost 450 is safe

I got a vid of my 14lb on a g37. I believe that's the lightest one available. Beware the chatter is crazy. Unbearable for some people
In Chicago, we have OBDII emissions testing every two years. No sniffer is involved, as the test checks for a service engine soon light and whether the emissions sensors are active and supported. Will the engine management system allow me to keep the sensors active and, if so, what about the e85 flex fuel system plugged into the evap system?
I live in chicago too, i believe in this video the 370z in on stock ecu, if it is OBD2 still works, but your tuner can tune some stuff out to pass emissions if you really need to. If not you can fill out this form: illinoisairteam.net/waivers-exemptions-extensions/. That is for emission exemption, but make sure to fill out the Sporting Activity Vehicle Exemption. Just scroll down a bit if you cant find it. I believe you gotta do this every 2 years. Its like an application, they just gotta accept you. Lmk if you got more questions! GL

The last time I tuned a SB kit on 93, it made 640whp@15psi. This was in the winter time. I turned the car down to about 600whp for safety. The customer has been racing it regularly with no issues on this setup.

On that first run are you near the max torque for this motor? Isnt max torque on a stock block 500-550?

Our G37 top mount single turbo kit starts at 8985, and we can definitely make it work with your Q50 engine. As far as our kit goes, only difference to account for on our end would be your newer style exhaust manifolds.

I have tuned a couple of those kits. They are worthless without upgraded wastegate actuators.

Silly question but can you be boosted and be able to switch to a "boosted flame map"?
Theres no such thing as a boosted flame map just the regular flame map itll work the same you probably will even shoot flames without the map if your turbo

You most likely won’t see this but I’m just curious. How much would it cost for the turbo kit, exhaust, fuel system, labor etc for around 600 whp?
Depending on the kit you're looking at 10-13k. But some of the kits are really easy to install with basic knowledge/common sense and tools. Especially if you go with a Stillen SC kit and throw a SOHO A2A on it. If you get a kit you can install yourself you can save a load of money

As long as these cars have been around without a ton of major changes there's usually someone who's already done something something you might, or had an issue that they found and fixed on 370z forums. Check them out sometime. Most of the guys there are nice and very helpful.
Around $12k if you find deals, if it is all new stuff you are getting, it is closer to $16k.

I heard the stock diff can take up to 1k whp. But the axle shafts & diff bushings might need to be upgraded. Heard of drag guys breaking axle shafts on hard launches

when do stock pistons and rods fail usually?
Stock nissan internals are quite robust. Generally internal failure results from heat and poor fuel ratio or pre ignition in forced induction engines.
Nobody really runs much more than 650wtq on stock internals. This seems to be the failure point

I've never been to a drag strip, buttt I know for a fact I'm pushing well over 400wtq and nothing gone wrong in the past year. (2010 7AT, 12k Odo)
