600HP BIG TURBO Infiniti G37x Review! The Q60's Granddaddy

- Опубліковано 21 вер 2024
- With the popularity of the Nissan Z and Infiniti platforms skyrocketing the past few years the G37x is definitely an odd ball in the lineup. This G37x is single turbo, all wheel drive, and makes 600HP to the tire! With a built automatic and a ton of character, this G37x is no joke. Thanks for watching and new uploads every Tuesday,Thursday, and Sundays!

As a 370z owner, I’m proud to see Infiniti getting some love here finally
As a G owner, I was hoping to keep them a secret long enough for me to find a 6mt G for a cheap drift car looool
As a g owner. I’m proud to own one
I'm not sure what you mean by "finally" ?? The Infinity G Series have been reviewed very well by Car & Driver and Road & Track, even as compared to the BMW 3-Series Benchmark, LONG before the Internet was around. With that said, the Q Series that took over from the G Series was a big disappointment with Nissan's introduction of the numb, electric steering rack which totally ruined the road and steering feel of this Series.
No one cares what car u got...
@@RobbyOwnz you do, clearly cupcake 😏
So I was sitting here thinking “hmmm, do I get the new Z or the new Supra? Then I thought, wait, I have a paid off G37, why not just put 8 to 12 grand into a solid project car instead of 40 plus grand on a brand new car? 😃
Happy for you bud
New Z and Supra clout cars tho

Hell yea bro I’m in the same page. I was gonna get a gt500 but for what lol I can do 2 full car builds and have money left over for races within that budget. Hope your build comes out good 👍🏼I’m doing a twin turbo on my g37 coupe s 6spd

Why I love my 08 Infiniti M45 Sport. So underatted and overlooked. 👍
@@fredwilliams7893 I've been wanting an M45 for so long but they're just so uncommon where I live. Currently driving a G35 which is still great but I want that v8 cruiser.
@@graham1034 yes 08 and 09 are extremely rare. I see way more 06 and 07 for sale, but the 08 had a ton of undated stuff on them. It's been a great car honestly very reliable the G35 and G37 are awesome cars but nothing like having a V8.
I drive a 09 G37S coupe, had a g35 coupe along time ago as well. I love Infiniti's they are just a solid car. They are very good looking, have good powertrains, fairly reliable and the VQ sounds great. Infiniti needs to come out with a nice dual clutch tranny though that shifts faster and we'd have a flawless victory.
@@NALOW84 Nice. Would love to own a IPL one day. My 08 M45 Sport has been very good to me aswell.

*tiptronic. And you could get paddles on this car, but you had to get the sport package. If you see this, ask the guy if he wants paddles, all sedans are pre wired for it you just have to buy the paddles And fiddle around a little bit.
I drive a manual G37S coupe! obviously I immediately clicked. fun fact, basically every single piece of the suspension is interchangeable between the G37S 6mt and 370z, and they use the exact same engine and transmission, rear diff, etc. haha I just needed those rear seats, so I could fold them down and fit my wakeboard.
A G37X manual would be nasty little skyline you got there
@@Mister2j86 yeah too bad they never came that way, no awd manual infiniti's ever. Sucks bc they literally were the skyline in Japan, my car was sold as the skyline 370gt. they even had the rear steer in other markets.
I want a V37 coupe just for drifting. Originally I bought my R34 for that but then they shot up in price out of no where to the point its too expensive to risk damaging it. V37 Skyline are dirt cheap now and ready right out of the box. Couple of Recaros, 2 way diff, and a quick release away from being drift ready!
@@KeenanStyles mines slowly becoming a drift car too! I already took care of the big issue, the slave cylinder, with ZSpeed's CMAK kit, and put a better clutch and lighter flywheel in too. I still need it as my daily for the next while though and I need a project so I'm soon starting on a k-swapped miata (or Eunos roadster if I can find one). Once I can afford a nicer car than the G37 it's becoming a full on drift car.
Oh wow. Super crispy shift noises plus 600 hp always is a good time.
Tiptronic* Dave. Lol its hard for me to say it without saying triptronic
That was bugging me too
For someone who’s daily is tiptronic, this also bothered me 😂

Can’t wait to start modding it for function but speed aswell ! Solid ass car for sure and I started off with a 350z and would take my g37x over it anyway especially with snow in the winter! Love my car !
I absolutely love the look of the G37’s, I’m such a sucker for the G37’s, not so much for the G35’s, something about the front end of the G35 that ruins the car. These cars come with a great amount of horsepower stock, wouldn’t mind having a G37
Nice to see an Infiniti represented. My daily driver is a G37 sedan and it has been a reliable and genuinely fun car with 69k so far. Also, I believe it's "tiptronic" not "triptronic" but either way great review!
G37 is a GREAT car! Either in Coupe or Sedan form! It's all about that 3.7L V6!! It's a very potent motor! The unique thing is that they also made AWD Coupe's as well. Auto only with AWD models though. That's really the only downside. Currently, the new Q's are ALL automatic.
I’m glad to see this is a turbo g37x I have a 2010 g37x and been trying to find a turbo setup everybody I spoke to said I can’t run turbos cause it’s awd smh

Used to have one of these. I think the sedan is better then the coupe honestly
It’s actually faster stock for stock since the Sedans weighs a lot less than the coupes surprisingly
I have an 08 G35X and its one of the funnest cars I have driven ever. The sport shift/trip tonic mode definitely drives different and feels like how a manual would drive so its very fun and even sounds different. Sounds meaner. Love my car, I just got it this past July and its been super fun since then.
You might be able to add paddles to that. Everything was there from the factory on my g37x. The S model came with paddles so all that was needed was the paddles and the trim around the wheel.
2014 Q50 AWD, admin tuned, with Ark HFC and Ark Grip catback here. Awesome daily and naturally aspirated sound.
I feel that the Q50 and Q60 has a lot of potential to be the rightful successor to the G35 and G37 which was big in the tuner scene

I’ve seen so much coverage on q50rs being such a steal on the used market really made me want one. Scat pack watch out. And this omg great idea no spinning no missed gears, boyyyyy watch out. Cheap too
The HR G35 and G37’s have aged so damn well. Powerful, N/A V6 with good looks. You can have a fun, reliable daily with reasonable power once you add bolt ons.
And it’s cheap. Probably one of the most underrated cars for the money.
I’ve always told all my friends that want an “all-in-one” car, that the V36 platform is the way to go. So reliable, quick, look good, they really do it all. I wish I had bought one instead of my 335xi
While I agree with you, I’d also add the 2006+ Lexus IS350 is a solid performer with outstanding reliability. I had one for a while with 275k miles and still loved it.
@@zachardiman6473 for sure, have to agree here. BUT, they hold value and the tech is a little older. Which throws the value proposition and fairly nice tech out of the window.

I have a bone stock other than exhaust 2011 G sedan and I absolutely love it. I don't think I've ever even driven it in true auto. I'm always shifting it myself in the triptronic sport mode. Even at just 330hp it's still quite a sleeper, other than being loud lol The short gear ratios really give it good acceleration although it does feel stronger in 3rd and 4th gear. 1st and 2nd are gone so quickly lol Absolute blast for a daily driver. They're super reliable too. I had a 2010 coupe and got it up to over 250k miles. Would have kept it going a lot longer but someone decided to slam into it when it was parked so it got totaled.. I did prefer the coupe over the sedan, but I don't mind since with two kids now the sedan is more practical anyway.
