So which do you like more...the Brazilian Blue Dwarf Beauty or the Green Bottle Blue??? Because I am kinda torn at the moment! Want some Tarantula Collective Merch? CHECK OUT: www.thetarantulacollective.com/shop
I really don't understand why people like the large ones for their size, I'm not a size queen. Brazilian Blue Dwarf Beauty for sure! All my Ts are dwarf species though so I'm biased 😅
I think this tarantula is the perfect size and not small like the c Elegans and other smaller dwarf species. Weather dwarf or not this is a must have for me just for its beauty alone.
My first T was a GBB that just hit maturity (female, yay!) and when I learned about the BBDB I instantly fell in love and wanted it to be my first dwarf species. Well, I ended up with 2 slings this weekend and couldn’t be happier! Learned how skittish they really are and people and joking, they are FAST 💨 Successfully rehoused though :D
That's a tough call. They're both great tarantulas in their own right. I love the size of the GBB but the colors of the D. diamantinensis are much more beautiful in my opinion. I can't decide which is why I have both. Great video.
I kind of want one... I have arachnophobia but after a couple years of watching tarantula videos, and handling jumping spiders when I find them, I'm slowly getting over it and think I finally want to own one. I've always said if I get a tarantula it would have to be a dwarf species. These guys look amazing. Thanks for the awesome video.
I will go to the fairs after the ones in February, and I'll take this species of dwarf mygale that has its charm, I'll take it immediately from a 2 cm female if it's possible and obviously I'll take a container to put the Dolicothele diamantenensis sling in, obviously I'll take 2 containers for feed the mygale, and maybe maybe I'll take a 1.5 cm sling, or a davus pentaloris
I just got one from FNT a week ago . Tiniest sling I've ever had . Had to house it in the vial it came in . Disappeared into the substrate and I haven't seen it since . Hope you have good luck with yours !
Just received on today in a mystery box , great value as it was double the value of price of box . I love the blues a d got three great ones included 😊 well chuffed .💙👌
Absolutely love this species. I love how they hardly seem to fade before moult, but then when they do moult, that pop of colour is just mind blowing. Awesome footage of yours!
I got my Dolichothele Diamantinensis as a 1.5cm sling this was my first T. I done my research on it and was prepared for a fast sling but I never expected how fast It was. I don't regret my decision on get this species as my first but I wouldn't recommend it. I now own Brachypelma Hamorii and a Tliltocatl Albopilosum. Next on my list is the Grammostola Pulchra. Its funny as I was an arachnophobe months of watch T feeding videos and I'm cured :) although still not a fan of the giant house spider.
Mine I got from Net Bug Christmas of 18 and she just molted I have video from her being a 1/4 inch sling taking down pray and never disappoints unless she is going to molt very soon they are super fast and so amazingly gorgeous wish I could show you mine ! I will post it on your FB page thanks for doing tarantula Tuesday on such an amazing T🕷💙
I love the big ones I have 3 stirmis including 2 large females and I was getting all the big ones but something changed now I have pumpkin patch, C. elegans, dwarf baboon and I’m getting one of these too
Richard, everytime I watch your videos, I am so amazed. The professional quality always makes me feel like I'm watching a "National Geographic " special. Everything about your videos, from the information to the actual filming is to notch. So impressive! You have a permanent subscriber here! Thanks
I am seriously considering getting started in the tarantula hobby and starting with this species so I can get used to their size before going to a non dwarf species. But the fact that they are bolters makes me worry. At first I wanted to get a T. Seladonia to start with, but they are impossible to find 😅
Have had 2 since they were way small one passed but the one I still have I so gorgeous!!! I agree they are VERY bolty and I've had one get out from it but well worth it when you see how amazing they look and the fun feeding with their responses
Mine amazed me...it came at inbetween 1/2 and 3/4 inch. It was solid deep deep navy blue. It was also missing 1 leg. It molted into its adult coloration a jumped to 1 inch sling with its leg fully grown unnoticeable that it was missing one beforw(sometimes they're a little shorter). It is so beautiful...always on display and a great eater.
Richard well cool vid coud you do a species care on the hati hati purple earth tiger please as your care vids have helped me out alot with all my ts I have keep up the good work
ok, it's settled, Brazilian Blue Dwarf Beauty is by far my favorite. A tarantella with my two favorite colors on it. I love how clear those colors are and look, almost nothing ginger on it compared to the Green Bottle Blue. Although GBB is so far my second favorite
This species was my third tarantula when I started the hobby, and it does not disappoint! Mine escaped even, (I did not notice a hole that was too large) but I found it inside the exoterra airhole next to the enclosure it escaped from. Lucky as hell! This species proves that size do not matter! Pun intended. Mine does a lot of threat postures, with teeth out and venom dripping, so I leave it alone as much as possible :) yet again you deliver a great video! Tuesdays are beginning to become my favorite day of the week 😂 thanks a lot!
My D diamantinensis sling like it mostly dry but it has nice humidity, i keep spraying once a week on the web so it can drink :) and getting a bit wet , also nice informative video :) .
Fantastic video! You captured amazing footage of this beautiful T! I have a 1cm sling and even at that size it’s colouration is impressive! Thank you for this video Richard 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Bought myself a sling for my birthday in February and I'm now at my third molt and it's so pretty I just want to cuddle it but I went to take a picture and I blinked and it was gone 😂 keeping mine with water dish filled twice and week and over filled once a week and it's doing amazing.
Hello from Belgium! 😉 🇧🇪 I already have a pretty GBB (profile picture) and I'm looking to have this species that I find so beautiful 😍 🕷 Thank you for this great video and all this very useful information! 👍🏽
we prefer the Gbb .. as it grows bigger and we are very much drawn to bigger species ....and the create a web castle to make the bafouri jelouse ...but great video Richard AS ALWAYS
I have a D. Diamantinensis sling just over half an inch in size and it’s like lightening on its food! I keep it’s enclosure right next to my GBB sling enclosure and seeing the two next to each other is incredible! I can’t choose a favourite between the two though, that’s far too difficult to ask of me Richard! 😂
I just ordered one of this. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and experience with this T. Now I want more of them. And I know, we all say we won't get more tarantulas haha
I plan on covering that species in the future...mine is still kinda small and in want it to molt at least once more before committing hours of time filming it
absolutely beautiful I think im more into the Dolichothele diamantinensis then the GBB honestly and ive been wanting a dwarf species but I don't want a tinly sling I want something atleast an inch to 2".
That intro. Lol! Well, as a beginner I have a T. Albopilosum and a one inch H. Chilensis that I've had for two and a half years. These are slow moving species but I love this little Brazilian Blue Beauty and since I'm aware and take precautions I believe I'm ready to upgrade. The colors, webbing and no hair kicking, you can't ask for more. I like the dwarf size also. Maybe when my Chilensis and Diamantinensis grow up I can put them together to be friends. Just kidding. Thank you for this video!
I love how you show te T’s in all different poses, and ur info is very informative... we’re living vicariously threw you.😂 Do these smallest T’s living longer? ❤️👉🏻🇨🇦
What a beautiful diamond! I only have a GBB, so I cannot really judge about which of both is better. But I feel the diamantinensis is more beautiful, but the GBB may be "better" because it is a little less skittish and visible more often. But the size, in general, is not really crucial for me. I love it when you end your video with a laughter and some dance moves! :D
My D Diamantinensis died today. 😢 only had it 16 months so I’m guessing it was male and came to the end of his life. Beautiful tarantula and quite docile.
So which do you like more...the Brazilian Blue Dwarf Beauty or the Green Bottle Blue??? Because I am kinda torn at the moment! Want some Tarantula Collective Merch? CHECK OUT: www.thetarantulacollective.com/shop
Likewise, they are both so incredible
That BBDB for sure.
I couldn’t choose between the two, they are both incredible species
Probably Brazilian blue dwarf beauty
Sir! I'm just curious, why there is a slow grower and fast grower tarantula? Looking forward 👌
I really don't understand why people like the large ones for their size, I'm not a size queen. Brazilian Blue Dwarf Beauty for sure! All my Ts are dwarf species though so I'm biased 😅
I have 4 dwarf species and I am really liking how bold they tend to be.
I want my 1st T to be a dwarf then ill move to larger spiders like skeleton spider.
I think this tarantula is the perfect size and not small like the c Elegans and other smaller dwarf species. Weather dwarf or not this is a must have for me just for its beauty alone.
Exactly...I'm all about 4"& under
My first T was a GBB that just hit maturity (female, yay!) and when I learned about the BBDB I instantly fell in love and wanted it to be my first dwarf species.
The struggle is real...luckily we dont have to choose!
Just ordered a half inch sling. My most expensive one yet, but those fabulous colors are worth it!
That's funny. I started with Jumpers, then a dwarf, then a curly hair. I'm working my way up. Lol!
I picked mine up today. I've been looking to get one for a long time so I'm really excited.
First!!!! I'm picking up my salmon pink birdeater and Brazilian black from Fear Not later today, I can't sleep I'm so excited!
that is AWESOME! Congrats!
Thank you so much! I'm lucky to live an hour away from them! Excellent video 🤘
I just got one from FNT a week ago . Tiniest sling I've ever had . Had to house it in the vial it came in . Disappeared into the substrate and I haven't seen it since . Hope you have good luck with yours !
I just love the use of the yoga skeleton figures from micheals! I have both of them as well and love them, hopefully I can get more this year.
LOL. I hit the like button before the video even really started, just because of how you danced across the screen in the first few seconds. 😂😂😂😂
lol
Luv u bro
love you too dude!
Buying my first T today and i chose this species.
Just recently got this sling and a GBB sling. Love them both!!!
Hopefully my other spoods don't read this but my gbb and blue dwarf beauty are probably my favourite 😂
Where did you get the sling? I havent seen any for sale online.
Where did you get yours from? I’ve been looking to order some
Got them both from Tangle in Webs. Awesome vendor.
I got the blue dwarf beauty from the spidershop but UK and the gbb was from swallow aquatics in Norfolk UK
Just received on today in a mystery box , great value as it was double the value of price of box . I love the blues a d got three great ones included 😊 well chuffed .💙👌
I'm currently waiting on a p. regalis sling! I haven't notice you put out a video on it. I would love it if you did!
Loving the om shirt, buddha head and meditating skeleton
I've got a sling on the way. It's going to look awesome to have it next to my GBB sling.
Just got a sling a few weeks ago, suckers are FAST! Chased that sling around my room for 45 minutes...shit sucked lol can't wait for the rehouse.
Woww beautiful dwarfff tarantulaaaa 😍😍😍
Absolutely love this species. I love how they hardly seem to fade before moult, but then when they do moult, that pop of colour is just mind blowing. Awesome footage of yours!
LOL
I'm so excited! Just ordered one of these from Pinchers and Pokies. Thanks for the husbandry info.
Hope you enjoy it!

I agree. So much time and effort put into this, it's incredible and lovely to learn from him.
I am seriously considering getting started in the tarantula hobby and starting with this species so I can get used to their size before going to a non dwarf species. But the fact that they are bolters makes me worry.
At first I wanted to get a T. Seladonia to start with, but they are impossible to find 😅
is very nice kind and I´m happy that I will buy this kind 3slings next month :) I love dwarf Ts :)
I still like the gbb more because the abdomen has more orange on it. But, they are both beautiful.
Never got a notification for the vid so I was a little late but thanks for the info man 😎
I just got a sling from Sewerfest last weekend!
Wow 😍
Nc video 😅
Thank you so much 😀
Use ice pops. They are good for eating the left overs and do not harm the tarantulas.❤❤❤❤
Amazing
I really enjoy this channel
thanks!
I love, love, love, love, love, love my Dolichothele diamantinensis!!!
LOO
I always wanted one bc it reminds me of a gbb
You really need one. You'll be so glad you got one! :))

All of your videos really tempt me and sold me out on buying all of them! I'm close to pulling a trigger with GBB's and Caribena Versicolor soon!
Great choices!
I was trying to rehouse my new sling and it ran up my hand, my arm until it went into the enclosure. And did begin webbing almost immediately
That intro. Lol! Well, as a beginner I have a T. Albopilosum and a one inch H. Chilensis that I've had for two and a half years. These are slow moving species but I love this little Brazilian Blue Beauty and since I'm aware and take precautions I believe I'm ready to upgrade.
