I like the idea of Richard’s tarantulas looking at him like “omg, that weird giant looks so fluffy. Do you think I can pet it?” “I don’t recommend it, dude. It probably doesn’t like that.”
This guy is the reason I went from scared of tarantulas to maybe I'll just get one, to ok 3 is plenty, to 7 is more than enough 😂 I own half this list because I love the fuzzies
I just became the owner of a T, not by choice but by circumstance and I got a Avicularia Avicularia and after a few days of having her, I went from scared of spiders to absolutely adoring her. Still can't bring myself to hold her but I just want my T happy so this channel is very helpful.
This. This is the adorable, floofy spooder video we all deserve. I have an avic, C. Versi, A. Chalcodes, 2 G. Pulchra 🤣 clearly i have a type. I want an LP! Chonky and floofy all day.
I think that pulcher is just a floofy fluff. Honestly my favorite T. But I love all psalmopoeus because they are all floofy. Best imo n/a 10/10 would always buy 10.
The Arizona blonde is my absolute favorite tarantula also, the Brazilian black, which was my very 1st tarantula back in 1997! I’ve had the curly haired, as well, and he was always so bald from kicking his hairs, but very beautiful. Actually, every tarantula you just listed is gorgeous. There’s not one type that I don’t find truly majestic.
The list is great! I would have probably switched out a few like the G. pulchra for M. robustum but it was cool to see someone else’s take! I held my breath til the end, haha. I thought you were going to skip T. albopilsosus. Most people do and they make such an amazing “beginner” species- which is why they’re a hobby staple. You may see them available everywhere and get full grown females for cheap; but there’s a reason for it and it’s because they’re such a great species that a lot of people forget about because they get labeled as ‘boring’ or ‘too common’.
Tliltocatl albopilosus, (Curly Hair) are just the Hampster version of Tarantulas. Some you can hold, some you cannot, but it all depends on how well it's cared for, I never planned to hold my T. albopilosus, but every time I open the enclosure she comes over and "seems so sweet" the only tarantula that appears to not have fear and likes to do a little walk around. She is the one I use to show off. All my other tarantulas are "don't even look" "not for your eyes".
It’s been about 10-12 years since I had one. But at that time the Caribena Versicolor was called Avicularia Versicolor. They must have discovered that they aren’t an Avicularia since then. I know it happens with many species. Still a gorgeous spider. And definitely on my list to get again. Besides the Versicolor, my favourite fluffy spider was my Grammostola rosea. Fluffy and gorgeous. Not as fluffy was my Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens, but still fluffy and also extremely gorgeous.
I really like Ts but i have some problems, those being that I live in colombia's captail and here the weather doesn't reach more than 22°C/71°F and might be too cold for a tarantula. I haven't found any site that sells them or at least one that looks trustworthy and finally, I'm only 15, which means that my family won't let me get one any time soon. But for the time being I'll keep watching this channel and you showing such beautiful creatures, thank you :D
Ornithoctonus aureotibialis is very fluffy. So is Brachypelma emilia and small Poecilotheria rufilata. There is also the feather leg, Stromatopelma calceatum.
I absolutely LOVE my 3 Arizona Blondes!!! There’re the most chilled tarantulas for beginners that MIGHT want to hold them. My little Oklahoma Brown is really chill also.
A Nhandu tripepi was my 3rd t and there very underrated my sub adult is brilliant always up to something a little fistey and confident such a pleasure to keep an amazing ball of fluff good choices for no 9 ❤️
G.rosea or G.porteri are also very fluffy balls of cuteness! Huge fan of them my little siouxsie is my pride and joy. My T.albopilosum is getting fluffier with every molt I always reccomend them as beginners as they are a very sweet tarantula to have especially as adults their docile and pretty easy to keep happy. My one is still very young but it gives me so much joy raising it.
The footage you get of these beauties is beyond good! Best tarantula footage on the internet in my opinion. Really up close and personal. Great work Richard! Love your content.
Pretty much my list of favourite tarantulas there :D Lasiodora parahybana can live longer than 15 years - I have two females, both of which I bought in 2003, both adult at the time, making them at least 20 years old and one I am sure is nearer 25 years old. The oldest I met apart from my two was 23. So they can live to a very good age.
I have started to fall in love with spiders 🕷. As I have gotten older I would like to get a fluffy pet tarantula. I think they are so beautiful Love your channel
I can honestly say I have 5 of the tarantulas mentioned in the top 10 list. Number 1 is one of those True Curly Hair. I love the feeding response from mine. Enjoyed the list Richard, keep up the hard work.
Great list. I love Tliltocatl albopilosum so much I have 3 lol. A juvey female & 2 tiny sibling slings. I adore them & think they need to be seen in real life to see how adorable they are. I also have a Caribena Versicolor, Avicularia Avicularia, Nhandu Tripepii, Lasiodora parahybana & Grammastola pulchra in my collection. My Psalmopoeus Cambridgei & Irminia are pretty fluffy too xx
P. victorii has been one of my favorites lately out of the few slings I've acquired over the past (hellish) year for all. Boy what a beauty it has become. I can only hope it is indeed female as I've not been able to snag a quality molt from this one yet!
I came back to check wether the nhandu tripepii finally made it onto a list and now i am going to log into my other acc to leave another like because that's how excited i am
Your interest in the Arizona blonde is well justified. I have a fully grown female I found badly injured and dehydrated. Now she is fully recovered, fat, happy, and more than friendly and likes to be petted on her abdomen. As it has been more than a year since I "caught" her I have no idea if this is even legal under the circumstances. This baby can jump on prey at a distance of 18 inches. She has been an absolute joy to to take care of. I have named her "sonseerai" which is the name for " bright morning star" in Apache as i " discovered her at the crack of dawn.
Haven’t got to the end of the video yet - but my fluffiest T is a male curly hair (true form) which I bought at an invert show on Sunday. He’s so stunning 😍
Definitely had to re watch this one 🙌 some of my top favorite species. I definitely love that your doing these rewatch series because I did miss a couple of them so far but still even just enjoy rewatching your episodes there always entertaining and educational and always exceptional filming 🙌
I have an A.Chalcodes,Avic Avic,T.Albopilosus and a wonderfully beautiful Seemani who is sooo relaxed and just doesnt even flinch. The Avic is just so beautifully coloured, easily one of my faves.Great vid x
Someday I will own an Arizona Blonde. I've loved those little cuties since I saw one on Exotics Lair years ago. You've made me want a Brazilian Black now too.
I got my T. albopilosum sling 2 days ago. My first (and probably only) ever. Its the final step in getting rid of my arachnofobia. Feed it yesterday and it ate. Im calling it "The Beast".
Only my second or third video of your’s but just wanted to take a moment to send some love and tell you I love your channel and style and the ease of your presence on screen. Great work. Thanks for sharing. ❤️
I was so hoping this was the video I would finally see you do on the P. pulcher. Sadness. I haven't even seen anyone in the hobby with one except for the obvious youtube videos. But never on my other forums. Why does the Panama Blonde get no love??😭😭
So first things first. Your videos kick ass. I did also just want to say Bo Burnham's Inside bit where he parodies the "UA-cam Content Creator" hits your delivery style spot on haha! You should check it out, just got my first T in 8 years and I'd have to say watching your videos helped me decide to hop back into the the love of T keeping. I appreciate you my guy!
Amazonius germani (ex Pseudoclamoris/Tapinauchenius gigas). They seem fairly new to the hobby so this video might predate them or maybe they just hadn’t crossed your radar yet. But… 😍 They’re like fluffy, redheaded (strawberry blonde?) teddybears. 🧡 Gotta love the fluffy Ts. I’m gonna miss the blue a bit, but can’t wait for my C. versi to mature.
I am new to all of this and in considering getting a Tarantula...your channel was the first and pretty much only one I watch 😊....your videos are super informative and very easy to follow 😊
Love the vid, I have most of the list but all slings so minus the fluff at the moment. I would add the Psalmopoeus pulcher, so blonde and fluffy! Haven't managed to get an Avic avic yet but will one day.
My first tarantula is an Avicularia Avicularia! I’m so glad that I discovered you and that my local pet store had it. My local pet store had a King Baboon as well, but since there was a clearance sale for it, I can’t get it. That and I don’t have enough space for my room.

🤣❤️🔥
"It looks like it has urticating hairs on its face"
Lol this is the best comment 😂
Underrated comment 😂😂😂😂😂
The forbidden fluff 🖤
please do a top 10 most active tarantulas.
IT'S SO FLUFFY, I'M GONNA DIE! Ok, someone had to, lol. I have an Avic named Ralphie and just adore its little fluffiness so much.
This guy is the reason I went from scared of tarantulas to maybe I'll just get one, to ok 3 is plenty, to 7 is more than enough 😂 I own half this list because I love the fuzzies
I like hearing how people pronounce "Boehmei" differently.
If I'm not mistaken the correct way is 'beh - mey', but i hear most english speaker pronounce it 'beh - mee' and non-english speaker 'bo - eh - mey'
Freddy Mercury tarantulas
@@ivydinosaur Brachyphelma bohemian
I say ‘bow my’
I say Bo He Me too.
Mine is a grown on sling so got some lovely colour xx
How do you not have a million subscribers? I don't even have a tarantula and I'm hooked. Keep it up man, thanks for the content!
Thank you so much!
I just became the owner of a T, not by choice but by circumstance and I got a Avicularia Avicularia and after a few days of having her, I went from scared of spiders to absolutely adoring her.

The Psalmopoeus cambridgei (Trinidad Chevron) sorta have a legwarmer fluffy appeal to them.
I got one a few days ago, and I just wanna rub it all over. Lol
I was shocked this didn't make the list! they just have extra poofy pipe cleaners for legs lmao
I think that pulcher is just a floofy fluff. Honestly my favorite T. But I love all psalmopoeus because they are all floofy. Best imo n/a 10/10 would always buy 10.
I like the curly haired remember seeing them back in the early 90s 🕸🕷🖤

Thanks Richard... The Caribena Versicolor is one FLUFFY showstopper!
Fuzzy Babies 😍😍 The fuzzier the better 🤣🤣
its al about the bush
Your #1 was the first T that came to mind when I saw the video title. Lol. Def the hands down top fluff ball 😁
I've seen a "Darth Maul" sling at the reptile store I went to looking for a T albo! Was super cute.
I have the T albo. She just molted and is now super fluffy!
So many of my favorites in this list, loved this video!
Also the Lp can get muuuch older than 15, mine is pushing 25!
What?! I also have Lp Kinda sad they live just 15 yrs! Hoping it would turn out just like yours
Oh my goodness gracious are you stunning !!!!!🥰😍🕷🕸

Fluffy babies are the best! I have five on the list and just ordered two of the others yesterday.
Very cool! I'm surprised that Stromatopelma calceatum, the feather leg baboon wasn't on the list.
This is a type of countdown where you watch to see what 10-2 is, because you know what #1 is.
4:02 Bro, thank you so much for introducing me to that track "cut the corner." Love smooth electronic.
I adore these charming spiders. I hope they live long and are well cared for.
I love fuzzy and fluffy spider's. They are so cute and adorable. 😊
I saw this in my recommendations and was suddenly happy, I freaking love tarantulas.

Can confirm the fluff of the LP, mine is a very fluffy boy. He's like a pompom on legs 😂
Sometimes spiders scare me but I love watching turantulas especially the fluffy ones
That poor tripepii got the short end of the stick 🤣 should have been much higher.. also surprised Pseudoclamoris gigas didn't make the list
Ornithoctonus aureotibialis is very fluffy. So is Brachypelma emilia and small Poecilotheria rufilata. There is also the feather leg, Stromatopelma calceatum.

I have a _Brachypelma emilia_ that looks particularly soft and fluffy.
@Amica Aranearum Hey its Muffet from arachnoboards. Henlo fren 🙃
So happy to see two of mine in the top three.
B emelia is fluffy, shiny, and beautiful. For her size I think she is fluffier than my LP. Nice list Richard, ty.
I came back to check wether the nhandu tripepii finally made it onto a list and now i am going to log into my other acc to leave another like because that's how excited i am
you are awesome! Thank you!
Our Psalmopoeus cambridgei is one of the fluffiest Ts we own, inlcuding our curly hair!
I love spiders, and these spiders are fluffy?!?!?I love this
They're all fluffy! Especially as babies. Like fluffy little puppies.
LOVE!!!! I particularly love the creativity of the highschool notebook/highlighter in the beginning/intro :) Perfect for a video about fluffy Ts lol
Yay! Thank you!
The B Boehmei and the Guyana Pink Toe are definitely some of my favorite T's and currently two of the many other's that I have in my collection
Your interest in the Arizona blonde is well justified. I have a fully grown female I found badly injured and dehydrated. Wtf?) Come on, this T so fluffy so it looks like a mammoth baby from soviet cartoon 😍
Stable 2nd place, imo :)
I have an A.Chalcodes,Avic Avic,T.Albopilosus and a wonderfully beautiful Seemani who is sooo relaxed and just doesnt even flinch. The Avic is just so beautifully coloured, easily one of my faves.Great vid x
I don't have a spider, they scare me but I find them interesting, it's my UA-cam therapy haha. Fluffy 🤩
Awesome video, Richard! I'd say that maybe Stromatopelma calceatum belongs here, unless feathery isn't fluffy lol Hope your are well!
Loved this list, have just about every one of these beauties! Another excellent video Richard 🥰
Someday I will own an Arizona Blonde. I've loved those little cuties since I saw one on Exotics Lair years ago. You've made me want a Brazilian Black now too.
Have you seen my Tarantula Documentary on the Arizona Blonde? It is one of the videos I am the most proud of: ua-cam.com/video/oHOChWnGMpM/v-deo.html
That's really cool...the pale tips on the a. avicularia's setae make it almost look like it shimmers.
I got my T. albopilosum sling 2 days ago. My first (and probably only) ever. Its the final step in getting rid of my arachnofobia. Feed it yesterday and it ate. Im calling it "The Beast".
How did I miss this video, I been waiting for a fluffy video
Love your Content ! 🤩
thanks!
i'm a big fan of yours! ❤️
Only my second or third video of your’s but just wanted to take a moment to send some love and tell you I love your channel and style and the ease of your presence on screen.
Great work. Thanks for sharing. ❤️
Thank you so much!!
My Grammostola porteris are both super fluffy 😍 I love them
Yo I really enjoyed this video. I was busy dancing thru the video while looking at the Fluffy T's. Keep up the good work.
Love intro best vid I have 0:34 seen of you
I was so hoping this was the video I would finally see you do on the P. pulcher. Sadness. I haven't even seen anyone in the hobby with one except for the obvious youtube videos. But never on my other forums. Why does the Panama Blonde get no love??😭😭
psalmopeos Species, are still rare to find... that's why
I have 4 pulchers myself and I agree. I have been waiting to see a video on them here. Next to my curlyhair they are the fluffiest in my collection.
Deffo some gorgeous Ts on show here great vid Richard ...
love Monocentropus balfouri
and Caribena versicolor is my second fave tarantula
Amazonius germani (ex Pseudoclamoris/Tapinauchenius gigas).
They seem fairly new to the hobby so this video might predate them or maybe they just hadn’t crossed your radar yet.
But… 😍 They’re like fluffy, redheaded (strawberry blonde?) teddybears. 🧡
Gotta love the fluffy Ts. I’m gonna miss the blue a bit, but can’t wait for my C. versi to mature.
Yay! Finally my fuzzy man Rico makes the #1 spot on a TC list
I am new to all of this and in considering getting a Tarantula...your channel was the first and pretty much only one I watch 😊....your videos are super informative and very easy to follow 😊
Awesome! Thank you!
Love the vid, I have most of the list but all slings so minus the fluff at the moment. I would add the Psalmopoeus pulcher, so blonde and fluffy! Haven't managed to get an Avic avic yet but will one day.

Psalmopeus pulcher one of the most fluffy T for me 😊
This music is everything
Have most of these in my collection I would add another of mine the Psalmopoeus pulcher - Panama Blonde beautiful 😍
My first tarantula is an Avicularia Avicularia! I’m so glad that I discovered you and that my local pet store had it. My local pet store had a King Baboon as well, but since there was a clearance sale for it, I can’t get it. That and I don’t have enough space for my room.
