I am being 100% honest.. Today, I had this exact same question in my mind. What created God? I start mindlessly and randomly browsing my UA-cam feed and see this video shows up.. I truly believe this video was Gods way of giving me answers…Just like what was stated in the video.. if you seek God out he will show you the way.

This kid is terrific. Good questions, and he phrased them more clearly than most anyone I’ve heard before. Discussing with someone like this is a gift because he helps everyone think more clearly about the topic. Very respectful too.

The man is like a child asking curious and innocent questions about his existence. And i tell you, that is the very characteristic that is pleasing to our God.
I love how polite that kid was... I wish everyone could discuss hard personal issues the way these two have.

@@JFlyer1973I see this argument a lot. The issue is that a debate is one thing, we can all agree or disagree and nothing comes of it. In politics decisions have to be made about things that greatly affect peoples lives. It's the making of the decision that often angers those who oppose said decision.
This was refreshing to watch. The young man was calm, respectful, and articulated his doubts and questions in a way that left openness for the other person to respond. They both spoke and they both listened. This is how it should be.
This kid was brilliant and respectful, we should all strive to ask questions just as this kid did
These questions cannot be answered. They’re undecidable for now because we don’t have the right questions to ask yet.

@@MsViva710 I generally believe it’s good for people to believe in something because it makes them better people and I also see religions more like traditions and not so much about God necessarily.
What happened back in those days? Nobody knows for sure but there’s definitely something paranormal and we call it paranormal because we don’t have the understanding of physics yet but it’s more likely that it was non-human intelligence rather than the creator of the universe because even the word “creator” doesn’t make sense. Who created the creator? See? We don’t have the right questions to ask and that’s because we don’t have the physics yet or maybe we do in some black project. Remains to be seen.
So back to what I was saying, it’s undecidable, at least in terms of public knowledge that is protected under the freedom of information act. In terms of secret knowledge, there’s probably a lot more that we are unaware of.. meaning the public.
Peaceable and respectful. Definitely not brilliant. Everyone knows about God and it’s nothing more than willingly ignorant to deny His existence.

THAT is what healthy debate/discussion looks like. No screaming, finger pointing or accusations. I wish more people in society would learn to communicate better with each other.
These are setup with rules people have to adhere by or they get kicked off and never asked back. A TV host for instance gets barely any time and has execs pushing them to move on.
In a perfect world every debate has no time limit and everyone is allowed to speak with no interruption

I'm so used to listening to dramatic political debate/arguments. It was amazing to see an intellectual conversation between two very brilliant lads. One person sits and listens, while the other speaks. Then stops speaking, awaits a response. Amazing!

I was an atheist and agnostic from 17-19 years old until I discovered evidence of God's Existence and Christianity myself. Creation requires a Creator we human beings would call God. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word.
Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. I used to be an aetheist and I used to have lots of questions and reasons to avoid him. But I always felt as if someone was watching over me.
But got delivered me out of that darkness. He brought me out of the darkness and into the light.
Now I'm continuously imprvoving on myself as best as I could. And if I felt alone in my battles back then, I'm now with God who is constantly battling my battles all because he loves me ❤

You know that a debate is a war of words, but not of violence and profanity, but an apologetic display of logic and common sense. This debate was well done, no one was offended, and the one questioning was humble enough to accept the response when it addressed all of the problems of the questioner.

@@BirdNatureView Because we have no idea what came before it. It could be the big bang emerged from some pre universe state that has always existed. It seems to be likely that the big bang emerged from something rather than nothing (although we can't prove that either)

Christianity is a culture, not a fact. Whatever you choose to follow should only be able to facilitate an evolution to your being. Giving you the tools to be able to unshackle you from any limitations spiritually and within in life. Religions generally tend to tie their followers to them too tightly through greed and control (Spanish inquisition, taliban in Afghanistan) rarely do they give the tools to help you guide your own spiritual development which in turn then evolves the religion itself. It was a Roman Emperor Constantine that developed Christianity to have the heaven and hell notion in order to have some allegiance and obedience towards his religion. Creating fear among his people not freedom. It originally had the belief of reincarnation. Says a lot about the idea of God giving free will, when it could be that you are a piece of god and free will is an immutable condition to your being as God has ultimate free will. Making you your own saviour. Buddhism has many great tools of self development and its said that Jesus was a reincarnation of the Buddha.
The question of who (or what) created God turns into circular logic. Who/what created God? Well then, who/what created them/that and who/what created its creator and on and on. Eventually, you can only come to one logical conclusion - Something/someone had to just exist. Which came first, the chicken or the egg? If the egg, doesn't the egg need a chicken and rooster to be created? If the chicken, where did the first chicken come from? Again, only one logical conclusion - something/someone had to just exist, so why can't that be God? Thank you, Frank, for such respectful responses to those who do not believe! Yes it’s a circular argument because in a universe where time exists and thus causality within that universe needs a cause outside, outside a time bound universe, causality is not longer a required imposition, because of the timeless nature outside a timebound creation.

Turek had a compelling argument. There are other ways Turek could have countered the so called assumed dichotomy. The answer is given by the Creator Himself on Jeremiah 17:9, Romans 1:18 amd several other passages.

The difference between this kid and most atheists who 'debate' Christianity is that he's actually -searching- for answers, instead of searching for a way to disprove the answer. He wants to know, genuinely, and that's why he's not just kicking and screaming against the words being said. He walked away from that debate a winner whether he got the answers he was expecting or not, because he was respectful and actually -listened-. Good on him.
But see, trying to disprove answers is how science works. If you look for answers, to prove something, you will inevitably find something, no matter how stupid or improbable it must be. That is confirmation bias -- it's how flat-earthers stay flat-earthers.

I think you have a very harmful view of atheists. I’m an atheist and I watch videos on religion all the time looking for answers, I just think the points coming from the sides of the atheists make more sense to me personally. A small portion of us are “kicking and screaming” and make the others look bad. Just the same as a small portion of religious people are super judgmental and make you look bad. I feel like most rational people from both sides are just looking for answers, there’s just a small portion of them that make both sides look bad, and of course they’re the ones that are shown more often because they’re seeking attention.

To me debate is what you do in court, where you try by all means to win the argument even if you know your guy is guilty.
It's also the same when you join a school debate team. They make you pick a side and you have to stick to it no matter what, even if you don't even agree with that side.
The atheist guy, by my personal definition, was not debating but was discussing.
Debate = I'm right, you're wrong.
Discuss = I am opposed to your viewpoint but let us go on a truth discovering journey together.
So discussion is about getting to the truth and debate is about proving I am right and you are wrong.
Many people, in my opinion, cannot seperate debate from discussion. This happens especially in romantic relationships.
But it can happen in friendships, and even philosophical and religious conversations like this one.

They have had very high standing conversations, debates, speeches and discussions from like 2007 until 2023. It will open your eyes. Many people here could agree. :)

Unfortunately his understanding of hell isn't biblical. Most people's understanding of hell isn't biblical. Hell is not eternal. Hell is not open right now for any human beings or life that was ever created on this earth. The only being confined to anywhere that could be considered hell is the heavenly hosts who disobeyed God's wishes. They are in a deep abyss. In the end times it says in revelation chapter 20 that the beast, the false prophet, and the serpent called Devil will go into the lake of fire for ever and ever. Everyone else will be judged and thrown in the lake but so will death and hell/hades. Not forever but it's the 2nd death. Not an eternal soul. The parable of Lazarus and the Richman is a parable, not literal. People don't realize that the OT has zero concept of an eternal lake of fire where people go in an after life. It's sheol which is an ambiguous word which seems like in some passages that it's speaking of a place where souls are living but it's a misunderstanding by modern Christianity. Even the NT and Jesus say death is like a sleep. We will all sleep until the day of judgment then at that time you will either die again or be taken to God. Thessalonians 4:13-17 which people use to justify pretrib rapture shows the dead will rise first, then the living will be taken as well. There's a lot of other proof verses but the point is he's wrong about hell.

Just love her, unconditionally. That is enough. I'm saying this as an atheist son of a deeply Christian father, with an atheist mother and two atheist sisters. My father is often so blinded by his need for us to believe what he believes that he can't share in the love the rest of us freely express and he doesn't see just how wonderful a person my mother is (she literally heals people from 6am to 5pm, 5 days a week with a constant smile on her face, without any thought or need for the Christian God, Jesus Christ or everlasting life). My advice, as a son, would be to love your wife and your children/future children for who they are until you leave this world, rather than judging them on one part of who they are (their spiritual beliefs or lack thereof) till that day.

He actually looked slightly disappointed in Turek's response at the end. No one who ends a conversation with "I see" is agreeing with the other side of the conversation.
I can follow his dissapointment, the step from the creation of the universe to being in the presence of God in afterlife if you love him, is a giant leap. The metaphor with a guy chasing a girl, I don't see the relationship with the way God would handle the situation. How does Turek know this? It insinuates that God is communicating with humans. If he ever did, what part of the message would get lost in translation? If God exists, he can perfectly determine who will be in his presence, why wouldn't he give everyone another chance in afterlife (if there is an afterlife at all). If following Jesus and God is such a good way of living, then the ones that did not, could be forgiven and by the grace of God receive the enlightenment in the afterlife.
I would like to see people use their loving powers for all other people here and now, not talk about us believers and them non-believers/other religions. God's existence does not depend on your prayers, if I follow the logic of Turek, he was there from the beginning anyway. It also does not matter how you call God or which religion you practice. I never heard of any proof that God finds Christianity the best way to worship him. Humanism could be his preferred way of practicing life and love. We just don't know and that is alright.

I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict.
Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers.

ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " On The Origin of Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution like speciation and adaptation but not macro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word.
Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus.
