    Nice, it’s not hard at all. I’ve done this many times using exactly what they are doing. I do chicken thighs myself (boneless skinless) and it’s phenomenal. The amount of oil isn’t that much per piece, maybe a tablespoon.i use avocado oil so good fats. It’s a tasty treat, but I can’t do higher than medium lol I get punched in the nuts.

    What kind of oil is preferred? And when using adding the, "hot cooking oil," to the dry rub how hot is it? Just microwave it or use the oil that was used to fry?

    • @SS4Xani
      @SS4Xani 2 роки тому +1

      Typically, it would be the oil they used to fry the chicken.

      I'd say go buy it, don't try to make it yourself. 12 seconds in your question is answered. When people can't follow recipes/instructions I always recommend to just go buy it. Better to pay full price and enjoy it than buy everything, do all the work, and end up with something not very good while blaming the recipe.

      @@jordanbabcock9349 Haha. This is true in most cases. However, let me say this. For the last two years I've gotten really into cooking. I've come a long way and my Nashville Hot chicken rivals (if not beats) Hattie B's. Looking back, I see how silly of a question this is, but hey, we all had to start somewhere.

      It's only bland to you because you are used to adding a ton of extra salt (on top of what is naturally already there) to your food. Trust me. Go a few weeks *without adding any salt whatsoever to your food* and you will learn to appreciate the natural salt already found in foods.

    I wouldn't do all that! In the early 90's, I was taught to use wheat germ, an egg, and a little water. That's your wet bath. No need to keep tossing from flour to egg mixture.

      Jove Doe hey!! Def not from Nashville, but I am from Louisiana and cook my a** off. And down here me and my mother take heat like it’s nothing. Despite all that, since you’re a Nashvillian, what do you think makes Prince's chicken better? I like have to know. I made some hot chicken, and trust it was kickin but I just wanna make sure I’m not missing anything.
