I'm so glad they recognize Prince's as starting the hot chicken craze. It's a part our city's history and culture
I told my husband, “If Prince’s isn’t on the list I’m not even watching it” lol we only lived in Nashville for a few months because of college(internship) and I miss that chicken sooo bad. We didn’t eat at the location in the video though, we ate at the other one. Need to go back 🍗

The only place I ever recommend is princes 😂 the most gas hot chicken ever and I still go like 3 or 4 times a month 😂

The location they are shooting at for Prince's is the second location that was opened up a few years ago. The original location burnt down in a fire when some drunk lady drove her car into an alcohol and tobacco store located at the strip mall where the original Prince's was located The fire burnt that store down, a nail salon next to it and half of Prince's. As far as I know, the strip mall still hasn't been fixed.

I like how the restaurants aren’t rivaling they respect Ms Andre and just want to make hot chicken their own way.
The Mac and Cheese from Hattie B's is hands down the beat Mac and Cheese on the planet. The chicken was amazing as well.

Just visited them yesterday and I loved it. Yes, the line outside was a bit slow but I ordered the Hot Chicken Sandwich and 2 Mild WIngs. The wings were not 'hot' at all but they were indeed really good and bigger than I expected, served with Ranch dip. The Hot Chicken Sandwich was only mildly spicy but it also was slammin' good and quite filling. With a Sprite that was $22 and I am very glad I went and would go again. But if you are looking for 'spicy' then try Damn Hot or Shut the Cluck Up.

I've had hattie b's several times, it's pretty good. I'd say the hot chicken sandwich is their best menu item, also the "comeback" sauce is better than any other sauce. I tried "damn hot" which is the 4th hottest lvl (mild, med, hot, damn hot, and the cluckin) and I was taking like 5 min breaks after every couple of bites, that shit is hot af. I wouldn't wait in that ridiculous line tho, I always order delivery.
Dude I get hot sandwich Hot too, but the line is never really that long anyways. I’ve stood in it lined up out the door and 5-10 minutes later I’m inside. For real tho the comeback sauce is the bomdiggity.

I have not tried pepper fowl yet. I have had the other 3 and love them all. Usually my selection of one of these is based on what side of town I am on and the speed of their service. I do love princes but because they are so good the lines are often long.
I've tried Prince's hot chicken before and it wasn't even as spicy as the mildest curry at the Indian restaurant down the street lol

Hey! Next time you girls should try 400 Degrees! The menu is selective and she has some of the juiciest chicken in Nashville! I am a native and I’ve tried every spot on the video. I agree with both decisions that were made bc it’s hard to choose between them both. The video is extremely accurate and quality and taste! Glad y’all enjoyed our Nashville staple! Once again, give 400 Degrees a try as well! You won’t regret it!

I so agree with you both 100%. I have tried them all except Pepperfire. Party fowl flavor, texture and crunch is the best and their Chips beat out any of the other biring french fries. I felt like their fries were cooked in the same grease as the chicken. All had the same flavors at Princes and Hattie B’s Wish I like them more, since they are cheaper... Will pay more for the best flavors!!!

I know Prince’s was the one who started it all, but Hattie B’s for me is pure nostalgia and deliciousness, the very first place at Nashville when I was a child that I ate hot chicken. Still go to that place, and I always try to get something spicy, something to tingle my mouth, especially the Shut The Cluck Up. Pure, flaming heat in a basket.

I live right behind the princes location, but the original location was in east Nashville. I remember sneaking out at like 1 am to go eat hot chicken. Sitting in the original shack hanging out with friends, burning our asses off and then ordering a slice of their strawberry cake to go was the best.
Today was our last day in Nashville before we head back to Indiana and we stopped at HaddiBs by far the best hot chicken I had ever have I ordered hot chicken sandwich and one tender of the most honest sauce they had , definitely worth a visit

They're all very good places. I remember trying Prince's in their original location and they used to cook in big cast iron skillets. But there's always going to be someone who makes a creative change. But I would always say princess is the best and will burn you good if you get the xxx hot
