I went here yesterday and my life has forever been changed. A 3 1/2 hour window of non stop orders and chicken flying out the window. I hope this place stays for good, and I wish it all the success in the world.
Him and Lucas Shen are really affable. This is my first viewing of this chef and he’s already entertaining. Not to cast aspersions, there are some hosts, the ones that are eye candy, aren’t as enjoyable. Forget her name but she has the impossibly small cosmetically enhanced nose.
I love how this Chef explains things, very down to earth and still covers all the technical aspects, he obviously has a great resume and it shows in how well he understands every step of the process and can explain it so well. The chicken looks delicious, I hope to try it in the future.
Its so funny you say that, im on a munchies spree and its cool how every single video every single cook/chef/Street food vendor is just so easy to watch. I guess its the love of the trade giving that impression, partly
A refreshing mix of technical and approachable instructions with some lovely anecdotes thrown in. Looks absolutely delicious! Wishing Peking House all the success, which it sounds like they’ve just about achieved already.
This guy has such a likeable personality and just that confidence. He's generous to reveal his receipe he ain't afraid people copy him, this guy will be succesful for sure
Great humble, friendly, educated, and fun personality. I want to try his food and support his business so much the next time I’m in nyc. This is true passion, none of the fake bs
Yeah I hate that the health industry demonized MSG despite it being healthy to eat. Just because your chips and cup soup says it has MSG does mean that is to blame, it is probably the other unpronounced names that make it unhealthy lol
I feel like his humility & calming personality is somewhat shadowing how good of a chef this guy is. great technical understanding and execution. wish this chef has his own UA-cam or tv series id deffo watch, and yea I've told myself im trying this recipe but we shall see.
Man I know this is so random but my mom recently found out about my weed channel where i smoke weed for a living & now i be thinking about quitting or deleting my stuff now😩😩
i visited last week (from Texas) and it was so damn good that it made me sad that i wouldn’t be able to have it again. it got to the point that i damn near reached out on IG to ask for the recipe but thought that would be rude. and then i see this. hallelujah
Thank you Chef Eric. As a lover of jerk chicken I can't wait to try it's Asian-American cousin. Sincerely appreciate the details and advice given. Please come back again and educate us some more. Thank you #Munchies for finding the best chefs who carve their own path in this world.
Now THAT'S how you know someone is a TRUE CHEF!!! Tasting that spice mix is clearly killing him! But he has to make sure the ratio is right; The Flavor. IS. Critical. Nothing but respect for him.
probably one of the first times I've seen someone has straight up called out the fearmongering of msg. Prior, I've seen ppl explain it's not that big a deal and actually helps food, but this dude was straight up lol

This guy can have his own cooking show.
I’ll allow it

Nah Americans don't like seeing Asian men in the media (unless they're getting beaten up, or they're gay)
I'd watch that.
He can't cause china owns him and his shit content
I’ve ordered from them and I can tell you that this is the best fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever tasted in my life
where is this place located?

Had to give this a like just out of the sheer madness this guy did of tasting straight up chilli powder.
This guy is a genius, what an incredible dish. Gonna put his restaurant on my hit list for when I'm back in NY. Love from London
What's a no brained chicken spot in UK?

Bring this guy back for some more videos!! Great recipe, personality, delivery and hope to see more soon 💪🏼
I literally lost at it him trying the seasoning and saying it needs more sugar in the middle dying from spice. Such a wonderful personality!
@erichuang please do more videos!

That was genius. My mind Is blown 🤯 about the distinction between crispy and crunchy. You sandbagged and made it look on the spot
This is what is great about America. Mixing great parts of different cultures that creates something worth more than the sum of its parts.
No its not

MSG is a great ingredient - I am always disappointed when restaurants don't use it

Glad the stigma is going away.

You should get a fume hood for prepping the chilis.
Fried Chicken by far is the best comfort food ever. I remember during lockdown how much I (my) family missed eating that Publix fried delicatessen.
