This video was about shoulders and that's what was done, no bs. Thank you for being clear cut, direct, and to the point. Your professionalism shows in your physique as well as how you present yourself, and your video refected the title, Boulder Shoulders.
I have very stubborn shoulders, and yesterday I used your version of side cable laterals. by adjusting the position of the cable as you showed. Goodness, the pump was incredible, and today my shoulders are in so much pain. Thank you so much, Wesley; your advice has been invaluable.
No doubt I have learned more from your vids than anywhere else. Ex janitor at a gym to really getting in shape. Caught the work out bug while I worked there. Your the best at helping me not injure myself. Big fan.
I really like your approach of not training the front shoulder so much, because it is already involved in bench exercises. This seems to really show in your posture, you look very balanced and healthy, not so crouched like many bodybuilders.
This is a huge relief… reason being is that I always thought, “the pros get huge delta from shoulder presses.” Not true here and it’s an easy to follow routine. Thanks!!
After stumbling across this video yesterday I decided to followed this workout exactly last night and it was fantastic. The shoulder pump not only felt good but was visually pleasing as well. Consider me a new subscriber!

Wesley, thank you for sharing these tips for shoulders. I tried this routine yesterday in the gym and it is solid. My shoulders are not usually sore the day after, but today they are lit up. Awesome! The angled bench dumbbell lateral movement was the exercise that did it for me. I really felt that one. 💪🏼 Thanks, again!

@@qwerty-wf2pw I train them directly once a week. Usually a couple days after chest because they get worked hard on chest day also. I will usually do about 5 exercise 4 sets 15-20. By then they usually start to give out and I stop. I don’t overhead press like he said. I found it to be useless for development. Also have realistic expectations natural shoulders can look good but never like his. Also go check out John meadows for rear delt. It really helped bring my shoulders out blasting the rear delt.
I'd never trained front delts for over a years and glad to know that someone who didn't train his front delts in isolation can still grow his front delts.
Great video. I e always did side lat raises standing and with arms at my sides and I e developed an impingement, now I can do them pain free thanks to your video.
That first one is how I've been doing cable raises (because I read a study saying growth is better when force is applied by a muscle in the elongated position). This is reassuring to see Wesley doing it this way, makes me very confident I am doing it the right way.
Today I tried the recommended shoulder training and also worked on my back. The training went very well, I felt the pumping and afterwards I still feel that they were worked. For years I tried my hardest to lift as much weight as possible with military push-ups and other exercises for the shoulders with few repetitions 7-10 with insignificant results, but I chose with a chronic tendinitis in the right shoulder. I am very sorry that I did not have this valuable information a few years earlier.
