He defeated his ENTIRE argument by saying that you shouldn’t memorize scripture because Satan will twist it. He has absolutely 0 credibility if that is what he believes because he does not believe in the authority of scripture. I’m in a Jaclynn Glenn fan and I wanted to see how it went with that interview. I’m not religious at all but Morgan handled that amazingly and I can’t imagine being able to stick through that interview
I would have lost all my composure. Especially when JLP says "when I was born again I haven't sined, reborn in God is impossible to sin." So just negate your whole scriptures and argument? Cuz the book he keeps pulling from says us humans still have original sin, which Jesus died for. Which in that context we are no longer sinners and haven't been since Jesus died. My overall reaction is "Jaclyn was right. A woman/girl hurt JLP at some point and he WILL not let it go."

I'm an athiest and definitely dont side with Paul and Morgan often but I have so much empathy for Morgan here. She didn't deserve to be disrespected so terribly and I'm so glad they're addressing it even though I'm sure it's so uncomfortable to talk about. I appreciate Paul standing up for her and taking her side and supporting her. I'm really sorry this happened at all. They deserve better for sure.

Just because you have fundamentally different beliefs from another person doesn't mean you have to immediately discard everything they say; showing support and compassion for Morgan after she was disrespected isn't a red flag at all.

I’m here from Jaclyn and I will admit that I don’t believe in your beliefs but I wanted to come on here and tell Morgan that I am so sorry you had to sit there and be treated that way. No matter what anyone believes in, no one deserves to be treated the way Jesse treated you and other women. Paul, I am so happy that you stood up for Morgan tried to protect her from the verbal attacks Jesse was dishing her way. I will also say that it’s people like Jesse that have turned me away from having faith in God. “Where’s your proof that women have love?” Well….Morgan gave herself wholly to God for Paul because she loves him.
I went from Jimmy Snow to the interview to here. I hated every minute of that insane interview (but couldn’t look away!) and bottom line is, you both deserved way better. It is actually incredible how much respect you gave him in the face of such disdain. That man is twisted and vile. There, I said it so you don’t have to.
I have been watching it through Jimmy Snow's commentary. I refuse to give Jesse the views. But my goodness some clips featured in this video, Jimmy hasn't even made it to yet and I thought the interview couldn't get worse but it apparently did!
I am a Jimmy snow viewer also. I just had to see their response to that video. Even though I am sure Jimmy will cover this video also. I think Jesse is playing a role, trying to make people hate every position that he holds.
I too am here after watching Mr. Atheist’s videos. I disagree with you both on pretty much everything, but you are still human beings that deserve respect and compassion and you absolutely did not receive that in this interview. I’d love to see you both give Jimmy a chance in a video. Obviously you won’t agree on much, but it would be nice to see you both in a debate where the other person respects you as people. It’s nice to see people with different world views respect each other.
I agree! I also think that the internet tends to amplify and intensify pretty much everything that is put out there; maybe it’s an unpopular opinion, but I feel like the majority of the people we quickly call bigots online would still be accepting irl, I think people judge way too quickly nowadays, especially when it comes to opinions and the way certain things are said and words are used.

Most atheists left a religion due to the fact that the major world religions, especially Christianity, do not respect differences in people. I’d definitely be interested in answering your questions
@@jamierosew725 I feel like, at least that I've observed, people who believe in a higher power often get their morality and faith from the same well - they know the difference between right and wrong in the same way they know that the higher power is real. But the two aren't inextricably linked for everyone. Morality can be a well in and of itself, absent any faith in a higher power. So for me personally, I'm trying to put good into the world because I want people's lives to be better and for the world to have less pain, because that's what's right. If there is a God and doing my best to be a good person and make the world a better place isn't good enough for him, then he's not a God I want any part in.

I became an atheist mostly because I’m trans and how certain Christians treat us like we’re not even human. So I disagree with you guys a lot. We can’t help that anymore than you can being a woman, it’s really not a choice. One of the few real deserved smug passive aggressive swipes taken by Paul... i lived for it. I tend to usually be very finicky with staying within “debate rules”.. as in, having an actual MODERATOR for one... then no fallacies etc.. but seeing how much of a joke JLP made this into (onto himself, mind you, the like/dislikes speak alone) i absolutely loved the sprinkled in jabs both Paul & Morgan would meme at them.. esp the marriage q bc i feel like hearing them forcefully admit “no” was SOOOOOO gratifying. It was already pretty evident of an answer, but to force them to admit it.. oh that felt good!
Except Jaclyn only likes it when people agree with her. She doesn’t want to agree with anyone who will cause her to question her beliefs or lack thereof. Jesse’s sitdown with Jaclyn wasn’t as bad as this interview. He just asked her tough questions. She may have gotten offended because he doesn’t understand atheism, but he was soft-spoken and not getting riled up. Many people interviewed by JLP leave that questionnaire with respect for him despite not agreeing.
I’ll continue with this about Jaclyn. She spends her time making videos attacking Christians. It’s sad that someone wants that as their claim to fame. She likes portraying Christians as the bad guys, but she is too of course her followers who also despise Christians don’t see anything wrong with that. She unfairly bashes Ray Comfort who is an all-around good guy. Sounds like she is struggling with her atheist beliefs. I mean she even married a Jewish guy.

The reason Jesse claims sinless perfection is because he has redefined sin. He doesn't believe lying or lusting is sin. He states, ' There is a time for everything.' , when asked if these are sins. He has his own theology.
Impressive that y’all actually took on Jaclyn’s challenge! Glad to see Morgan standing up for herself and women. If y’all are still connected, y’all should really encourage your friends at girl defined to speak on this guy since their platform is supposed to be all about empowering and encouraging women through scripture. They had no problem speaking about the “Christian” views of God is Grey that they disagreed with, so they should have no problem calling this guy out if they disagree. I think it’d be beneficial to see their platform give women a voice just like it was nice to see Morgan have a voice in this.
@@kevinjackson4933 the point of my comment was to commend Paul and Morgan for accepting Jaclyn’s challenge and addressing this guy’s remarks. Whether or not she proved anything, she at least made it clear that she does not stand by the statements he was making, which was refreshing to see coming from a conservative, fundie christian as well as a woman in that camp. It took guts for her to be active in a conversation with someone that has such negative regard for her as a human being, so her being willing to directly call him out is standing up for herself and others affected negatively by his message. More conservative christians need to voice that they do not support that type of rhetoric, which is why my comment also mentioned that it’d be nice if they encourage GD to speak on it, too. Maybe GD will be able to provide you with whatever proof you are looking for on this topic.

@@kevinjackson4933 again, the point of my comment was to commend them for taking on his remarks and to encourage them to get others in similar camps to speak on the remarks, too. Channels like theirs, and GD, seem to call out leftists and progressive content more often than they are seen calling out conservative content (if ever), so it was refreshing to see them speak against a highly conservative figure. If you believe they are centrists, that’s fine. The point of my post was just to encourage them for engaging in the discussion and to see if they could encourage others to. More conversation doesn’t hurt, and maybe someone else (regardless of where you believe they are on the spectrum) will provide whatever proof or more stimulating discussion on this topic that you are looking for.

I cannot believe how insane Jesse’s views are and I love that you, Paul, finally asked “are any of you married?” They may not believe that to be a valid point but it truly is ridiculous for them to hold these beliefs without any true experience in marriage/relationships. It is disgusting the way Jesse fails to listen and only pushes over and over until you agree with him or appear to agree with him. He just uses repetition to break people down to a point of just shut up already exhaustion with it. Good on you both for the times you pushed back. I might not agree with your views but I am very proud of you both for not just folding and allowing someone who is so extreme to shut you down and talk to you in such a disrespectful and disgusting manner with no push back. I can feel the frustration and discomfort through the screen and I felt true rage when he was pushing the whole women do not love their father’s and they need to forgive their mothers when that’s not the case. Yes, I do see this is the case in some families but this isn’t just the norm. I don’t know how the two of you got through this I would have lost it several times.

Peterson does not ask good questions. He asks questions loaded with preconceived notions designed to force you into a position where he can claim you agree with him. That's why he keeps asking it over and over.
He makes me wonder if he had negative experiences with his mother or women in his childhood, I feel like there's no other reason that can explain his way of thinking.
He blames his mother because he had feelings towards man and because his dad didn't treat him right and he projects all his anger towards his mother who was a black woman who helped him but There is a lot of black men who follow this tradition blaming their a blame in their mothers for what their father's did

Oh my stars... So I'm watching this interview in parts on Jimmy Snow's channel because I refuse to go to JLP's channel and give him views. This was so hard to watch and my blood pressure went way up listening to that guy. He's sooo manipulative and doesn't ever really listen to what you guys are saying. I am a Mr. Atheist fan also. After watching this interaction between Paul & Morgan and Jesse, I kind of feel like Jesse is secretly playing for team Atheist. He just has unique/crazy way of pointing out biblical absurdities by taking on the roles of the extreme views within the bible.
Also a Mr. Atheist fan and Evangelical turned Atheist; while watching this interview I was rooting for you guys. Just my opinion, I don't think that you guys should have been as nice as you were to him especially after disrespecting Morgan as much as he did and calling Paul a beta male because he respects women. To be honest, I don't even think that Jesse Lee Peterson is a Christian, he appears to be his own god and have a lot of pride. I really appreciate though that you guys were able to show love and grace. I hope that Jesse Lee Peterson and others like him find the truth.
I agree! He and his experts even said they don’t read/follow the Bible. They know they’re Christians because “God is in them.” But they don’t use the name of Jesus. Sounds very New Age to me.

Never been your guy’s biggest fan but I was completely appalled by how he spoke to Morgan and about women! It was so heart warming to see Paul get so protective over Morgan. The interview was so hard to listen to. He quotes scripture when it's convenient for him. But says the word of God is in his heart when the Bible says something he doesn't like. You guys did great to keep your composure throughout that interview. Especially you Morgan. Im so thankful that you used actual scripture to back up your standing. If Jesus shows up again, he will surely die again because if we cannot believed that someone doesn’t sin, how can you believed someone who claims to be the son of GOD. As a midwifery student I had to laugh when he said "the birth is immediately". Sure, that's why I often spend 10hrs with a patient and sometimes see them again the next day.

I think it's understated how important it was that Morgan and Paul didn't give Jesse the reaction he was looking for. Jesse doesn't deserve an ounce of respect or attention, but unfortunately he has a substantial voice on the internet. From a purely optics point of view this is a massive defeat for him. The fact Jesse has to ask his questions over and over and over until you give him the answer that HE wants, is just master manipulation at its finest. Clearly no desire for a conversation of differing opinions, only what he wanted to talk about. It drove me crazy, y’all are so patient.
You completely ignore the fact that they werent capable of answering simple questions jesse asked. He was not trying to get HIS answer but trying to get A answer from them. Even 1st graders could answer those questions and they acted all righteous but were incabable of a simple honest answer.
I don’t think we were watching the same interview lol. Paul and Morgan answered the questions, and actually did a better job at conducting an interview than JLP because they allowed for more than a “yes or no” answer😂
@@_KendraChristine they cant conduct an interview if they are the ones being interviewed, that makes no sense. Every question jesse had could, and DID end up being answered with a yes or no. They have to try and insert all this "christian intellect" to rationalize an incorrect response that is easily answerable with a yes or no. Jesus gave simple answers when confronted with people who disagreed with them, he didnt take 5 min to answer a basic question.

Jesse is clear. We have sinned, But when we confess our sins we are born again and we sin no more. Thats completely commensurate with your verse. Jesse says he has sinned, just not since being born again. Whats being born again if your ways dont change ?
@@Matt10264 of course we definitely do change when we’re born again. God gives us a new heart and puts His Spirit in us which is so wonderful! However, for Jesse to claim that he has not sinned since becoming a Christian is blasphemy & sinning just by saying that. It sounds so prideful & arrogant. We are dead to our former life & should always strive to walk in holiness but we still will slip up from time to time. Walking in the Spirit is an everyday commitment. “But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.” Galatians 5:16-18

I just really wanted to come here and echo what a lot of people are saying- you deserve so much respect for your debate with Jesse Lee Peterson. You both stood behind your beliefs and kept a cool head when he kept trying to badger you and get a reaction out of you with his EXTREME beliefs. While you and I don't see eye to eye on most things, I appreciate your willingness to listen to others' perspectives and debate them in a thoughtful and level-headed way. We need more of this in the world.

I appreciated a lot of what you both said. When you guys support traditional gender roles, I don’t understand why Paul sat back and let Jesse degrade Morgan. I was really shocked. I can’t imagine my husband smiling along in this scenario rather than taking a stand and protecting me.

I think Paul did his best to be respectful to both. He doesn’t have it in him as a follower of God to just shout at Jesse and honestly I think he knew that’s what Jesse wanted. Despite our differences of religious views, I think it's important to stick up for each other against hateful people like Jesse. Proud of you guys for doing just that. Paul there was a comment you stated and you were defining toxic masculinity but failed to call it that. And to be frank with you as an agnostic person, Jesse Lee is how alot of non-believers view Christians and other religious people. There is nothing wrong with subtle spirituality. There is nothing wrong with practicing basic morals and practice being a good person.

The point he makes is that women today don't humble themselves before God, as we all should (not just women), and rather than being present with God throughout their days they seek worldly validation from others via social media. No one is "special", we are all made from God and equal. No one can be "special" because we are all the same in God's eyes.
I think JLP has a deep resentment against women and has issues with women that go deeper than what he admits. I’m not sure if he’s had an experience with a woman in his life who’s hurt him, but I see him as a hurt person who is using religion to try to validate his hatred. I hope he finds more kindness and peace in his heart.

Hey guys. Just watched the JLP show. I have watched a lot of of his shows and interviews. Trying to figure this guy and his doctrine out. I found an interview he did where he talks about his childhood and his mother. And that’s what his whole doctrine is based on. His mom turned him from his father and he is still pissed. Then he had a child and that women turned the kid away from him. That’s where his hatred for women started and he hasn’t gotten over it.
Imagine my shock... lol not at all, but great to hear theres video to substantiate the theory.. ill have to look for it. Im a therapist and id be lying if i said he didnt frighten me with the conviction he has even when you can tell hes fully aware how hypocritical his statements are. Mentally ill, but unaware grandiose thinkers are literally safer than aware ones like JLP.

I'm a big Jacklyn Glenn fan and found out about Paul and Morgan through her channel and I always thought Paul had forced her to change who she was and give her career up etc. I still don't agree with most of what they say but as people I've gained loads of respect for them. Especially Paul as I already kinda liked Morgan and thought she was having to act a certain way to please Paul. Only thing I wish they'd done was not be so nice to Jessie. He needed telling what a dick he is. I liked how they just looked at each other and laughed at him so many times, proper clowning him. I don't know if he really is that thick or if it's an act for views. It's very telling that not one of the guys on Jessie's channel are married though. You just know they'd be obedient as fk if a lass like Morgan said they'd marry them!
I think it was unfair for Jaclyn to speculate the nature of their relationship and claiming it was toxic, based on how Paul and Morgan acted in this interview with Jesse it's obvious that that wasn't the case. Paul seems to have a lot of respect for Morgan and her voice. While I don't really consider myself a Christian anymore I don't really watch atheist content either anymore, I try to stay out of that drama as much as possible. Both Christian and atheist communities have taken a huge toll on my mental health but coming across this it was very refreshing. We need more Christians out there that aren't afraid to stand up to this BS and we need more atheists that are open-minded and don't treat religious people as less than simply for their beliefs.
Came here from Jaclyn's video, I'm not particularly religious, but my family is and even though I'm not religious I agree with you when you say that when you are christian be very careful who you're following because there have been cult leaders who have used the bible to bring people into their cult unknowingly they warp the bible to take advantage of people. Jesse reminds me of certain cult leaders. I'm not religious, but like I said my family is especially my grandma. She studied the bible and read it daily and her church switched pastors once along time ago, and the pastor said something that she disagreed with and she stood up and called him on it. Even though I'm not religious, I know how important it is to people who go to church and I respect anyone's religious views if they respect mine in return. Personally I didn't like the way Jesse spoke to Morgan, it angered me being a woman and seeing him be so condescending towards her because he lets be honest, hates women and so does his "experts." If I were there I would've stood up for Morgan, because that was just so disrespectful in general and Morgan has every right to be irritated by him.

I came here from Jaclynn’s commentary on your interview to see how you both felt afterwards and oh GEEZ, Morgan I am SO sorry he badgered and harassed you that way!! And Paul, that must have been such a hard position to see him treating your lady like that. Repeating the same question over and over, hoping to get a desired result was bullying at its finest! Two things about the interview also really scare me. (There’s a lot to be absolutely honest, but two of them really stand out) Firstly, it’s how he proceeds down a line of questioning that is dependent on his baseless opinions. “Do you forgive your mother?” And everything following that line is SOLELY dependent on his view that women are full of sin, worship satan by default, and corrupt everything. And he was trying to bail you into an “aha! Gotcha!” Moment if you slipped up even a little. You both did SO well with answering him and not falling into those traps. The second, I absolutely concur with both of you and with Jaclynn. Even though I am not religious, i feel that if you are religious, your beliefs and religious values should come from your holy text. How does he think that, from a Christian perspective, the Bible is MORE fallible than a human being’s opinion? It’s crazy. He is an absolutely dangerous person. I can only imagine if one of his “experts” ever were to get married, how poorly their wife would be treated and the emotional, verbal, and spiritual abuse she would endure. Both of you were so strong during the interview and I hope you process how all of that made you feel in a way that allows you to be able to overcome it. I’d also be very interested to see a collab video of you guys and Jaclynn to further discuss the aftermath of it.

I also feel the need to point out that Jesus used the Bible to defend against the temptation from Satan in the wilderness. I must have overlooked the part where he said Satan would interprete the scripture for you the first time, but that is entirely false. Our greatest defense against the enemy is "the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God." (Ephesians 6:17) Know you bible, it is the best offense and defense against Satan, against atheists, against the false doctrines of both progressive Christianity and people like Jesse.

@@jamierosew725 I feel like, at least that I've observed, people who believe in a higher power often get their morality and faith from the same well - they know the difference between right and wrong in the same way they know that the higher power is real.
But the two aren't inextricably linked for everyone. Morality can be a well in and of itself, absent any faith in a higher power. So for me personally, I'm trying to put good into the world because I want people's lives to be better and for the world to have less pain, because that's what's right.
If there is a God and doing my best to be a good person and make the world a better place isn't good enough for him, then he's not a God I want any part in.

Except Jaclyn only likes it when people agree with her. She doesn’t want to agree with anyone who will cause her to question her beliefs or lack thereof. Jesse’s sitdown with Jaclyn wasn’t as bad as this interview. He just asked her tough questions. She may have gotten offended because he doesn’t understand atheism, but he was soft-spoken and not getting riled up. Many people interviewed by JLP leave that questionnaire with respect for him despite not agreeing.
I’ll continue with this about Jaclyn. She spends her time making videos attacking Christians. It’s sad that someone wants that as their claim to fame. She likes portraying Christians as the bad guys, but she is too of course her followers who also despise Christians don’t see anything wrong with that. She unfairly bashes Ray Comfort who is an all-around good guy. Sounds like she is struggling with her atheist beliefs. I mean she even married a Jewish guy.

The reason Jesse claims sinless perfection is because he has redefined sin. He doesn't believe lying or lusting is sin. He states, ' There is a time for everything.' , when asked if these are sins. He has his own theology.

Whether or not she proved anything, she at least made it clear that she does not stand by the statements he was making, which was refreshing to see coming from a conservative, fundie christian as well as a woman in that camp. It took guts for her to be active in a conversation with someone that has such negative regard for her as a human being, so her being willing to directly call him out is standing up for herself and others affected negatively by his message. More conservative christians need to voice that they do not support that type of rhetoric, which is why my comment also mentioned that it’d be nice if they encourage GD to speak on it, too. Maybe GD will be able to provide you with whatever proof you are looking for on this topic.

Channels like theirs, and GD, seem to call out leftists and progressive content more often than they are seen calling out conservative content (if ever), so it was refreshing to see them speak against a highly conservative figure. If you believe they are centrists, that’s fine. The point of my post was just to encourage them for engaging in the discussion and to see if they could encourage others to. More conversation doesn’t hurt, and maybe someone else (regardless of where you believe they are on the spectrum) will provide whatever proof or more stimulating discussion on this topic that you are looking for.

Oh my stars... So I'm watching this interview in parts on Jimmy Snow's channel because I refuse to go to JLP's channel and give him views. This was so hard to watch and my blood pressure went way up listening to that guy. He's sooo manipulative and doesn't ever really listen to what you guys are saying. However, for Jesse to claim that he has not sinned since becoming a Christian is blasphemy & sinning just by saying that. It sounds so prideful & arrogant. We are dead to our former life & should always strive to walk in holiness but we still will slip up from time to time. Walking in the Spirit is an everyday commitment.

The point he makes is that women today don't humble themselves before God, as we all should (not just women), and rather than being present with God throughout their days they seek worldly validation from others via social media. Hey guys. Just watched the JLP show. I have watched a lot of of his shows and interviews. Trying to figure this guy and his doctrine out. I found an interview he did where he talks about his childhood and his mother. And that’s what his whole doctrine is based on. His mom turned him from his father and he is still pissed. Then he had a child and that women turned the kid away from him. That’s where his hatred for women started and he hasn’t gotten over it.
Imagine my shock... lol not at all, but great to hear theres video to substantiate the theory.. ill have to look for it. Im a therapist and id be lying if i said he didnt frighten me with the conviction he has even when you can tell hes fully aware how hypocritical his statements are. Mentally ill, but unaware grandiose thinkers are literally safer than aware ones like JLP.

Issue is, id like to know specific videos besides just the female/education one and the other couple more known ones that include youtuber guests. If you know of any specific over the top ones.. you could just give me names to look up, ill look into them and i wouldn’t mind using my psychology background to point out the strange inconsistencies and make comparisons etc.. ❤️

I'm a big Jacklyn Glenn fan and found out about Paul and Morgan through her channel and I always thought Paul had forced her to change who she was and give her career up etc. I still don't agree with most of what they say but as people I've gained loads of respect for them. Especially Paul as I already kinda liked Morgan and thought she was having to act a certain way to please Paul. Only thing I wish they'd done was not be so nice to Jessie. He needed telling what a dick he is. I liked how they just looked at each other and laughed at him so many times, proper clowning him. I don't know if he really is that thick or if it's an act for views. It's very telling that not one of the guys on Jessie's channel are married though. You just know they'd be obedient as fk if a lass like Morgan said they'd marry them!
I think it was unfair for Jaclyn to speculate the nature of their relationship and claiming it was toxic, based on how Paul and Morgan acted in this interview with Jesse it's obvious that that wasn't the case. Paul seems to have a lot of respect for Morgan and her voice. While I don't really consider myself a Christian anymore I don't really watch atheist content either anymore, I try to stay out of that drama as much as possible. Both Christian and atheist communities have taken a huge toll on my mental health but coming across this it was very refreshing. We need more Christians out there that aren't afraid to stand up to this BS and we need more atheists that are open-minded and don't treat religious people as less than simply for their beliefs.

Came here from Jaclyn's video, I'm not particularly religious, but my family is and even though I'm not religious I agree with you when you say that when you are christian be very careful who you're following because there have been cult leaders who have used the bible to bring people into their cult unknowingly they warp the bible to take advantage of people. Jesse reminds me of certain cult leaders. I'm not religious, but like I said my family is especially my grandma. She studied the bible and read it daily and her church switched pastors once along time ago, and the pastor said something that she disagreed with and she stood up and called him on it. Even though I'm not religious, I know how important it is to people who go to church and I respect anyone's religious views if they respect mine in return. Personally I didn't like the way Jesse spoke to Morgan, it angered me being a woman and seeing him be so condescending towards her because he lets be honest, hates women and so does his "experts." If I were there I would've stood up for Morgan, because that was just so disrespectful in general and Morgan has every right to be irritated by him.
I think you guys worship the Bible more than Jesus but that's just my opinion.

I came here from Jaclynn’s commentary on your interview to see how you both felt afterwards and oh GEEZ, Morgan I am SO sorry he badgered and harassed you that way!! And Paul, that must have been such a hard position to see him treating your lady like that. Repeating the same question over and over, hoping to get a desired result was bullying at its finest! Two things about the interview also really scare me. (There’s a lot to be absolutely honest, but two of them really stand out) Firstly, it’s how he proceeds down a line of questioning that is dependent on his baseless opinions. “Do you forgive your mother?” And everything following that line is SOLELY dependent on his view that women are full of sin, worship satan by default, and corrupt everything. And he was trying to bail you into an “aha! Gotcha!” Moment if you slipped up even a little. You both did SO well with answering him and not falling into those traps. The second, I absolutely concur with both of you and with Jaclynn. Even though I am not religious, i feel that if you are religious, your beliefs and religious values should come from your holy text. How does he think that, from a Christian perspective, the Bible is MORE fallible than a human being’s opinion? It’s crazy. He is an absolutely dangerous person. I can only imagine if one of his “experts” ever were to get married, how poorly their wife would be treated and the emotional, verbal, and spiritual abuse she would endure. Both of you were so strong during the interview and I hope you process how all of that made you feel in a way that allows you to be able to overcome it. I’d also be very interested to see a collab video of you guys and Jaclynn to further discuss the aftermath of it.

I also feel the need to point out that Jesus used the Bible to defend against the temptation from Satan in the wilderness. I must have overlooked the part where he said Satan would interprete the scripture for you the first time, but that is entirely false. Our greatest defense against the enemy is "the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God." (Ephesians 6:17)
Know you bible, it is the best offense and defense against Satan, against atheists, against the false doctrines of both progressive Christianity and people like Jesse.
