So... I think those are equivalent answers to "I have no idea"
To be fair, that is often the intellectually honest answer.
For example, the honest answer to "what is the origin of life?" is probably "I don't know," rather than a gnostic claim like "God did it."
But in this case, the information this man needs is widely available... he just doesn't care to learn or understand it.

I took enough psychology to not know enough. I do recall in that class we talked about medication and psychologist don’t generally prescribe but I believe they can but tend not to. Basically for the most part they don’t but it can happen is what I believe to true. Since I’m not an expert I’m not going to say with conviction that they do. I know this is going to be weird but today a lot of people say they know stuff when they don’t and they say with conviction. They sound very convincing while being completely wrong.
So I’m asking for someone on here to answer that question. Do psychologist some times prescribe because I remember the professor saying that they can but usually don’t. I’m not looking for a person to look it up and answer and then answer with full confidence. I’m looking for a psychologist to answer this question.

But I've recently stopped debating with conservatives and instead I just ask them questions, and follow up questions based on their responses. Eventually their positions get exposed as flawed and they stop engaging with me - even though I never actually challenged them.
