No, he's too much like Jesus. When the kids realize we lied about Santa, they won't receive the gospel as easily. Also, I hate the pagean history about Christmas. We can live in a pagean calendar with pagean tendencies, but when you let pageanism affect your views on Jesus, you've gone too far. I'd rather just buy the gifts and give the kids gifts on another day, and admit I payed for them.
Absolutely not. Even as a kid, things like Santa and the tooth fairy were silly and I didn't understand why parents insisted on telling their kids those things.
No hate intended! I just wanna know how you justify judging the actions of Christians you don’t personally know on your channel and making money off of it. Just want to know what verses you’ve observed to be able to feel okay with it

That's really what Christianity is about. Infact that was the example Jesus laid for us when he was on earth. He even said he didn't come for the believers but the unbelievers and those cast away, condemned and judged by Jews(they were the like christians of old times).
Jesus always dined and mingled with the sinners even when the Jews said he's not supposed to do so.
It's sad many Christians of now magnify themselves as some god even when they themselves were sinners before being saved. The way many Christians condemn and judged non-christians even in their hearts without having to say/show it is so irritating. I as a Christian would rather dine with non-christians than with condemning christians (because I love treating others how their supposed to be treated - as humans). I pray the Lord helps us all to be loving and kind like Him and helps the world to see the truth about Christianity, its all about love and serving a God who is love himself and wants us all to be one with Him and share his blessings riches in glory with us all. And I also pray you be in peace and good health and find out his love and plans for you so you can see for yourself that he's a good loving Father who doesn't do things in the way we would expect but in a way that is much more better and only realize it when it's done. And I pray when find that peace (which I must tell you is wayy better than the peace you'll be expecting) and love, you'll share it so others can benefit, be saved, loved and be happier.

That was very honorable and Christian of you guys to meet with Jaclyn, it sounds like something Jesus would do. We shouldn't assume that someone can never be changed by God. And if nothing else it's always good to have conversations with those we don't see eye to eye, rather than shutting out those who don't agree 🙌🏼

FundieSnark is basically a "bullying is never okay unless it's against Christians." That page exists to make fun of Christians as people, not of their beliefs. The fact that they think what they're doing is okay just goes to show how blind the world is.
Me and my fiancée aren't married yet but will be in December and we already decided that we aren't gonna do santa or easter bunny etc. Because we really want our kids to appreciate and know that their parents got them those gifts instead of "santa" also we don't want to lie to our kids, even if its as small as believing in santa. We want to be as honest and vulnerable with our kids as much as we can. If will be a interesting topic to discuss with our families but I know that this is God's heart for us and he will bless it! :)

WHY HATE YOU 2? You guys are amazing❤ and the only Christian couple I'm subscribed to apart from Jess&Gabe. As a new Christian youtuber myself I got my first lil hater yesterday... and I also still have a very long way to go. In terms of editing, comfort in front of the camera, speaking appropriately and accurately (cause some ppl are very sensitive on juicy topics) but when I saw this first lil hater the first thing that popped up in my mind was "with Jesus, I got a whole army with me". sometimes we do need to actually take the "hate" and reflect on ourselves to better in certain areas... but I feel like that's still not an excuse for people to HATE. Some people just can't give constructive criticism and they get straight up nasty.
Seeing you 2 move on from the hate still making videos on juicy and serious topics means a lot to Me . God bless the both of you and the rest of your journey 🙏🏼

My parents never did and I've always been super thankful for that! (not that it would've turned my life upside down, but I just don't think it's right. I also don't know if maybe I would have some trust issues if I found out later that they'd been lying to me all these years. But I hear most people get over it pretty quickly, so that's good😊👍)

Regarding kids on UA-cam. There’s an Olympic diver named Tom Daley who has a 3 year old and not once has shown his face on the internet but he’s still in their videos and vlogs! No pictures/video of their kids face online but still involved in videos and updating people on him :) just take caution. That way your kids still have full privacy if they want that.
To be honest, I actually really agree with the whole Santa thing. Because it’s plain and simply a lie, and for no reason. And God expects us not to lie... so why would we lie over something like Santa Claus? They can still celebrate Christmas and know that the gifts come from people that they love.

I’ve seriously learned so much through you two and despite how much people come at you for being controversial and even with my own differing beliefs, the Lord’s used your videos to humble me and help bring me out of a place of legalism that I was in when I first came to Christ. I grew up with my parents not pushing Santa. I remember them saying that Santa was just like a cartoon character that people use for Christmas and I just knew not to talk about it at school and not tell other kids.

Hey guys. New to your channel and I really love your content and y'all are such a beautiful and inspirational Christian couple. You probably won't read this,but I wanna say that I too have had severe depression/suicidal thoughts in seasons of my life. I left New Age beliefs 11 years ago. I had been super attracted to the supernatural, occult, witchcraft ect too. I loved all those things and was truly wanting to find some truth and joy for my soul. My depression was since teen years into my 30's. I had medical issues and infertility. I lost 2 children in the process of trying to have children. It was very depressing to have that happen. I lost the first child before I was saved and it was incredibly hard to go through that without Jesus. When I lost the second child, I had a saving faith in Jesus and He helped me so much in that time that my heart was mended so quickly. The Lord gave me my son who is now 9 years old and we are so blessed to have 2 boys now. It seemed like my years of depression had ceased even during the second loss and then about 4 years ago there was a deep despair type of depression that swept over me. It was super debilitating to me and my family. I was not suicidal, but I would have thoughts of wanting to die and go be with God. That life was too overwhelming and I had no peace or joy. Nothing particularly happened to cause it either. I started to have evil thoughts and just felt demons around me. Long story short, I did receive deliverance from demonic spirits and the depression broke off and been set free ever since! I relate to your search for balance in the Christian walk and wanting to steer clear of hyper- charismatic teaching because I've noticed alot of demonic new age in churches especially main stream. I started my own channel to teach the word and testimonies, but its been a slow prospect and can be discouraging to put so much effort in, but not much traction happening. Watching your channel encourages me to keep us the Lord's work in mine😀 just wanna say is so nice to see testimonies and encouraging 😊 be blessed 🙌

Santa Klaus: When I was growing up, I never really believed in things like Santa, or the tooth fairy. I guess my parents never put too much emphasis on them. Like I only discovered Santa and all these other things on Disney tv shows 😂But otherwise, I lived without Father Christmas, and so shall my kids 😌

I follow that subreddit and you weren't even on my radar. I grew up fundie so I have lots to say about it and am entitled to an opinion because it almost ruined my family. I follow the subreddit in question because of horrible Jill Rodrigues and the evil Lori Alexander. If you support them just because you happen to agree with their views, then I feel sorry for your narrow thinking. Much of my snark comes from the hypocrisy, the grifting and the flat-out laziness I see in the fundies on social media. I am a conservative Christian, as are most of my friends and we believe in having a REAL job and not just playing on SM all day long trying to build followership. For people who claim to be followers of Christ, all I see is ego and an overinflated sense of importance.

A friend of mine told me I should post pics of my 2 yr old girls on social media. He said I could eventually get paid after posting for a while but I just don't feel right about that. I'm iffy about exposing them that much. They will also know about Santa but that he's not real :)

You guys are some of the most gracious UA-camrs in the Christian space, and I love that. You share your point of view with love and kindness, but you still get the point across. I think some people in the space take it too far and end up in toxic and bitter arguments with their audience, but I don't see that going on here. Love the content, keep up the good work!

I found out that Santa wasn't real when I was 4. I've always had an analytical brain and really thought about it...and Santa just did not add up😂 i begged my mom to tell me if he wasn't real and she couldn't lie anymore. I found out he was fake on Christmas day😂😂😂i cried but in the end I'm so grateful i didn't grow up believing in him, Because i would have been even more heartbroken if I found out much later. Y'all are making the right choice!!
I think You guys would def like Sadie R. Huff cuz she’s a great influence on young girls but puts it in a very relatable way; she also speaks very well and is a great motivational speaker. Sure y’all may differ on a few things (idk if id even say doctrine) but I think it would lead to some great discussions on both sides.

Hey guys! Not gonna lie, I'm one of those former fundies who tends to hate watch this sort of content, but I really appreciate your take on mental health. At around 23:00 you guys talk about Morgan's struggle with depression and suicide, and you encourage people to seek therapy, counseling, medication, etc. It's rare to see fundamentalist conservatives acknowledge science as it relates to mental health, so thank you for this! Hopefully it helps people!

You’re like the second person/people that I’ve heard aren’t going to tell their kids Santa is real. If I ever have my own child, they will not believe Santa is real either. My step son does, he’s 8, and I hate having to lie to him each year but I can’t choose with him unfortunately.

I am really interested in the Santa thing. I was so upset when I found out the Tooth Fairy wasn’t real I called my mum a liar 🤦🏼♀️ I know she didn’t do it to hurt me or anything. I was told by a Sunday School Teacher that Santa wasn’t real and that was horrible for me 🙃 I will let my children believe in these things but if they directly ask me I will tell them the truth but I would be very clear to not tell other children especially as we have a few people in my family who still believe in Santa especially my cousin who is 4 in his head but is an adult ( he is disabled) so I wouldn’t want my kids to tell him he is not real

Morgan, to answer your question: I'm on r/FundieSnarkUncensored basically because I've found that fundamentalist interpretations of Christianity have done a lot of harm & in my view aren't theologically sound. I like to bring a fun Catholic vibe to my contributions to the forum, and dunking on TradCaths (especially white American versions of traditional Catholicism) gives me a lot of joy. Maybe that's mean, but hey, I hate seeing my religion be warped by people who use it to hurt others.
I'll agree that sometimes people do get out of line, but the community pretty frequently polices itself - e.g., talking about how sometimes people frame their critiques of fundamentalist bloggers around the women of the family which can take on misogynistic tones at times. Happy to chat if you'd like.

@@PaulandMorgan no problem! Many people in the FSU subreddit are survivors of spiritual abuse and religious trauma within a fundamentalist Christian context. For many of us, snarking is a way to reclaim power from institutions that deeply, personally harmed us, while also providing each other with mutual support and healing (communion if you will).
For me specifically, dunking on bad theology is a way for me to stay connected to my faith. I find it genuinely painful that (white) American Catholicism has fallen so far from the teachings of Christ, and our 2,000 years of history as the Church, not to mention the ongoing evolution of the faith through the lens of liberation theology (for example). Snarking on TradCaths for me is a reminder that the frankly evil way TradCaths have distorted my faith does not mean I have to accept it. TradCaths don't own Catholicism and they don't get to push me out of my religion.

Bethel church is mixing witchcraft with Christianity. Light and darkness don’t mix. (Matthew 6:24)
I genuinely want them to find the true gospel. But one of their pastors claimed that Jesus needed to ask him for forgiveness, they denied that God in the flesh I perfect. Prayers for our brothers and sisters. Some very strong spiritual warfare!

He's been receiving death threats and being harassed to the point where people are contacting his abusers to try to get them involved in hurting him further. How is this something to celebrate?? He's an imperfect human like the rest of us and he deserves to be treated like one.

If you know anything about Jimmy, you know he is absolutely not anything even resembling a rape apologist. Quite the opposite, in fact. Do I agree with his choice to defend her at all? No. Do I think that one poor choice warrants death threats? Absolutely not. Maybe watching his new video would help clear things up as he does address your view. If not, that's fine, you have the right to feel your feelings. I still don't think Jimmy deserves to be mentally tortured for one stupid decision he made about a book review that he's apologized for.

The lord most likely did not wipe your memory, you are experiencing dissociative amnesia… which is when you forget events because of anxiety or trauma. Which people tend to learn about in therapy… though I’m not sure if that’s the same for faith based therapy…

Holidays are pagan/occultic and not biblical especially Xmas … when he sees us celebrating those things including the 4th it’s a slap in the face to Jesus, Jeremiah 10:1-5… it’s actually worshipping the sun god tammuz , the child of Nimrod and Semiramis..Xmas has nothing to do with Jesus .. he was born in the spring likely .. and it’s a celebration where it’s about materialism and gifts /selfish needs while people saying it’s “Jesus bday “… which they are wrong to begin with as it’s not in the Bible as that being his bday… and if it was, it’s selfish holiday and not about him.It’s all sinful.
I’ve heard this aswell, and agree it’s not of God same with Easter and eggs they are about a fertility goddess which is a clearly a false god. However some believers choose to celebrate resurrection Sunday instead of Easter. With xmas I’ve chosen to step away from it for a bit. However you can celebrate Jesus anyday and everyday, those holidays have also been used for family, community etc. What do you think of celebrating Jesus the entire month(even though it should and can be done every day).
@@okn3297 yes Easter as well and the name Easter is pagan goddess Ishtar … but we never questioned it … why the bunnies and the eggs ? I’m not claiming to be perfect either as I’ve always done these holidays until recently waking up to this and I no longer celebrate anything except god … I agree you celebrate god everyday by worship and praise and living by his word.. there’s no record in the Bible of any righteous men’s birthdays not even Jesus so why would we feel entitled to having our own birthday even be celebrated? Also we shouldn’t be praising anyone any day or making a day about them.. I think that upsets god. If your read the Bible 3 birthdays occurred and each time there was death because god allowed the devil for that to happen because of their sin with celebrations. To those saying “ well that’s not what it means to me… “ well god is watching you turn a blind eye to the truth and living for your own wishes and desires when we should be living for him and doing what’s right. To those that have wondered why the holidays/bdays don’t go as planned or why you feel unhappy and things are going wrong in your life, it’s because you’re in sin maybe unknowingly and living for you so why would god help you? We are all not worthy of a celebration or even a recognition .. especially being born into sin. Except maybe a wedding but that’s only to confirm your union.. nothing crazy or lavish.

The tradition focuses on greed, envy, materialism, gluttony .. none of those things will get us into heaven. Also the Bible explains the Xmas tree Jeremiah 10:1-5
