Honestly any minimum wage job teaches you so much about yourself, others, interpersonal relationships and skills, and life skills. I didn't work in food service, hospitality or retail but I spent my youth as a babysitter and nanny. It's by far the one role that taught me the most about myself and boosted my understanding about human behavior, development, psychology etc. Can't get that from a regular office job.

Yet she didn't learn to pick a better husband?? Just like my ex, she was a barista, of course being a cutiepie female would attracts a lot of human male. Therefore now she is currently opposing her entire family for a toxic boyfriend who let her do anything as she pleases instead of preserving her dignity. No after all the years being a server she end up not learning anything, the only one she excel from being a server in FnB is trying to please everyone which end up ruining her health. I don't mean to belittle her since i love her so much, but yeah having a proper father figure is more important than having to work as a server. Cuz without a proper guidance all those skills you learned as a server could become a downfall, like the girl in the video marriage. At the end of the day, having a wholesome family, a loving husband or wife beats everything that anyone would trade over their money for it if they can. Im speaking for my own exp, one who stays single for a whole 30years. despite me loving being alone, if given a chance to have a wholesome family i also want that too -(hence me taking a shot with my ex lol)- www god bless us all

Born in Brazil to Korean/Japanese parents. Moved to Vegas alone in 1992 at 18 to attend UNLV. My first job ever was as busboy making $3.25/hr, then promoted to server at 21at a steak house, asst mgr, then mgr for a fast food chain, multi-unit mgr, lastly regional mgr and real state investor. Now, I own 11 rentals in Vegas with no mortgages, It brings in $21K in net income/month. Hustled my entire life until I semi retired in 2019 at 45. Moved to SD, surf every weekend, kayaking, camping and raising two small children. Gave up decades of fun, holidays, travels. Soon I'm planning to get a cheap sailing boat, fix it, sail to Portugal and visit my childhood friend. Just posting this cause Sora mentioned being a "server" had an impact on her and how her career took off as she changed careers, like mine did. Life will treat you good if you don't waste it. Lastly, how many of you has an MBA? Probably none, so why post negative comments about her or anyone who has achieved greatly at only 34?

The problem isn’t buying a brand new car - the problem is buying the wrong car at the wrong time. Tesla are known to depreciate a lot and so are EVs in general. Not only did she buy a Tesla EV, she bought it during peak COVID pricing and massively overpaid for the car. That model 3 isn’t worth more than $25K if she tries to trade it in. Last but not least, she should have leased the Model 3 so she’s not stuck with a huge loan and $1000/month payment. Cars are depreciating assets. Don’t spend $70K to buy something that depreciates every day. Instead, lease that car for three years and keep your money in the bank/investments. Payment will be lower, your money can grow in other investments, and your resale value isn’t at the mercy of Elon Musk’s mood that day.

I've been making a lot of looses trying to make profit trading. I thought trading on a demo account is just like trading the real market. Can anyone help me out or at least advise me on what to do?

    • @Tennyson-r
      @Tennyson-r 4 місяці тому

Trading on a demo account can definitely feel similar to the real market, but there are some differences. It's important to remember that trading involves risks and it's normal to face looses sometimes. One piece of advice is to start small and gradually increase your investments as you gain more experience and confidence. It might also be helpful to seek guidance from experienced traders or do some research on different trading strategies.

You can do a lot of thing while getting an MBA. The first year is basic general business stuff like accounting principles, management principles, psychology and else. Second year is electives and/or tracks, you can do more management, finance(investment banking, M&A, business law) or a combination. You can get an MBA without ever touching stocks, bonds or else because management is the core of the degree not finance.

@travelvideoz i think it is both. i think for anyone who watched the full video, it would be reasonable to say she seems to be quite intelligent and driven. she got a very good degree that not everyone would be able to get, she reads and educates herself on topics she doesnt know much about, she is very conscious about how she raises her son, and she recognizes the financial mistakes she made and seems like she would not repeat the same mistake again. however, i also think that not everyone that is intelligent and driven will necessarily find themselves in the place that she did. things happened to work out for her, when she got laid off she got. a new job two days later. this isn't usually what happens, who knows, if she didn't have that new offer, things could look very diffferent today

@@missfrosty98 Finally a sensible comment on this thread. Also, if you prioritize family (spouse , kids, etc) your chances do go down of reaching this level of success. Keep in mind how much time she does sacrifice to also accomplish this but her priorities are those to each their own. Divorce and fast success do have a correlation in many cases.

It was great hearing her story. One thing I wish was expanded on was that we can do it all as long as we have good time management. While that is a necessary skill many people do not have, many of us are also just overworked. For that salary I can see it being worth it but I've also seen people in the high 6 figures and above income who have no lives outside of work. Trying to work your way up in a healthy way that doesn't cause burn out and other issues is difficult. But watching this definitely made me want to do more.

I work with her in a cross functional manner at Tiktok & followed the show she was on & this. She is an individual contributor in marketing, does not bring in nearly what she claims. It’s been well established that she was laid off from Meta and fired from Netflix. It’s easy to look her up and see that she rents some old condominium in Foster City, not San Mateo. Has a partner, is not a “single mom” that she states splits rent with to make ends meet. Divorced her husband, who she said bought her over $500k worth of cars after she was caught cheating and now needs constant external validation
This woman just rewrote the definition of a toxic narcissist

Before UA-cam just recommended this video to me, I've never heard of this woman and don't have a dog in the fight. I couldn't care less about her one way or the other.
      With that said:
      * how would you know how much she makes? The only way you could know that is if you're her boss, accountant or taxman/tax woman. Please let us know how you know this.
      * she said she was laid off from Meta and doesn't seem to be hiding this fact, yet you brought it up in a negative light. People get laid off and it's not a reflection on the person. If she said she quit, that would be different, but she didn't.
      * I looked her up and saw nothing regarding where she lives. I then decided to look up Foster City and it's still a very posh area. It's not like she's living in the slums and this is me taking you at your word. I saw nothing to back up what you claim.
      * man, you're even attacking her single mom status? She and her husband are divorced and she hasn't remarried. I think that's the takeaway here. What's the point in bringing this up?
Again, I don't care about this woman and have no opinion of her. But you, on the other hand, seem like you have a grudge against her.

it is called "if they don't see the coffin, they won't cry". Meaning, if they pay you $150k and the person doing the same job gets $400k, they won't care. But if you have a counter offer that is $380k and they have to have you, they will pay $390k or $400k. If you say you want to leave, it is possible they may find another person, unless if the project is to be done in December and now it is August and they have no time to find and train somebody. Otherwise, they always make the job nature "replaceable" and then treat the person like trash

She could be doing better if she didn’t buy the car brand new like that, but she still saves and invests most of her money now. So, as long as she keeps living like that, she can still live well financially. Especially since she makes 6 figures a year!
