    Fun Fact: my mom had no idea we had a social media account until about 3 months ago. One day out a lunch, a random group of people started yelling "IT'S THAT CHEAP GUY!" and asked to take pictures. And ya, I am still trying to prove to my mom that I am funny...baby steps.

    There is one family of expenses that this man does not have to worry about which makes living in Sunnyvale (not a cheap place to live by any means) a comfortable experience. The guy lives with his mom. He has no rent, mortgage, or any other expense around home ownership / home leasing. 120k is a fantastic salary, but is really not that much when living anywhere near Silicon Valley.

    Yeah I won’t lie, being able to live with my parents after college I was able to throw a lot into investments as well, not paying rent is really the key if the money saved is used wisely. Many people end up buying houses/living alone early, end up with nothing saved.

    • @edwink1467
      @edwink1467 Рік тому +1

      Well buying home early is different from moving out and renting early. If you buy, at least you are building equity and can probably sell the house for more than you paid for it later. Renting tho... you are just helping the landlord with their mortgage or putting money in their pocket.
