It's a bit darkly humorous that the two immortals of the Moonshade Order, Claude and Arcanette, had centuries over which to unfold their schemes, yet the conspiracy was getting nowhere until the Oboro siblings joined the cult. Really underscores just how damn good Oboro and Ori were at their respective jobs - Oboro handling the overall strategy and Ori secretly observing most of the final chapter boss fights with her mad espionage skills... which only made them all the more dangerous, since they were pragmatic and determined enemies who didn't waste time on gloating or pointless sadism...
I thought she was sus when the archbishop didn't want to speak in front of her. Then I thought I was wrong after Temenos' story when nothing happened. Turned out I was right.
That was her game. Keeping to the shadows, setting others up to draw suspicion away from her. Even Temenos was fooled by her facade… and she only dropped it to further wrench his heart. Big mistake.
I didn’t realize the twist either. Even when you do the post route quest for Temenos story and the game drops a massive hint that Mindt is sus because they were looking for the hairpin Mindt lost in Temenous chapter 1. What a reveal, I love this game to bits
If you replay Temenos' first chapter, there's bits and pieces of conversation with her that are really shady in hindsight and hint at her involvement. Pontiff Jorg also sounds incredibly uncomfortable when she walks outside and asks "jokingly" if he and Temenos are discussing secrets without her. Jorg tries to play down the atmosphere with a joke, but the delivery on his lines seems to suggest that he's struggling to keep composed and that Mindt saw through it. The fact that Jorg whispers to Temenos immediately after in a barely concealed "stressed" tone that he needs to discuss something important with him later and to meet him at the cathedral seemed to be his way of saying "I can't say what needs to be said around her."
Well that's the cool thing about mysteries. Once you know the twist you can go back and see the hints clearly. Mindt being a menace was easier to see in chapter 1
@@dogltd6632 I was streaming to a friend and I really loved Mindt's character and design and I said to my friend. This girl is so suspect to me that I think she'll be evil. I was relieved when I finished the main story of Temenos but started realizing when piecing the other stories together that a few of the notable characters may or may not play a part post game
It is also being hinted in one sidequest after Temeno's 4th chapter. It's hard to explain since I am not playing with english language but it's pretty obvious Mindt is being referenced.
Man, I sure hope you fought the boss normally at least once before this. You say you like it but based on this video you hardly even got to experience it lol
@@TenchiHawkwing This is fighting it normally despite the level. OT2 story bosses are really squishy. If you optimized damage with the resources you usually have when you fight this boss and fought it at lvl 50 or so, the fight would end in 2 turns.

@@TenchiHawkwing In this game, level doesn't actually do much other than giving more hp and a very slight damage increase. Stacking damage increasing effects is the way you do ridiculous damage. You can get 99999 hits by lvl 30 without even using lategame equipment as long as you know what's going on with the dmg calculation. But even without way too many hours studying the game, you should be able to hit for ~100k by lvl 50 with just a few basic buffs.
I saw this reveal at the end of the game and I just didn't care. Oh no! Not that... um... that lady who... didn't really do anything for the whole game... and only exists to be a twist villain.
Granted, that was the point. She was good at keeping her machinations within the shadows, with all scrutiny drawn toward Kaldena and her doomed quest for vengeance. Temenos only found out because at this point, her sadism overrode her sense of practicality.

do you feel satisfied grinding to 99 and not using any tactics on bosses? isn‘t the whole fun of jrpgs trying to figure out how to beat a boss witj a tactic. what‘s the point in leveling so high and then nuking everything in 3 turns. but ye, you do you richard
I grinder to 99 as well and you can defiantly nuke regular bosses but for late game bosses you still require strategy , only difference with being max level is that you probably won’t die to the boss and you’ll beat the boss in less turns than if you were at a lower level however, a strategy is still employed , it just works more efficiently. Regardless people can play how they want man, does someone else blazing through a boss have any significant effect on your gameplay experience , why be bitter about it 😅. Your comment comes off that way, you might not be 🤔
Tbf you can beat the final boss in your mid 40s, the game isn't difficult. Except the super boss, he requires planning and I spent 2 hours fighting and failing until I beat him

I like how that whole Moonshade Order had to fulfill some of the extreme machinations to resurrect Vide, only for it to just get beaten up lol.

“This ends now Mindt” the perfect line for the final attack delivered by Temenos himself
using a jam in this fight was definately a decision
Cool fight but I really wish she got more development. Was there anything that foreshadowed who she was beyond the inability to guide her around?
