    Finally a short car reviewer! Being 5'4" I have a hard time imagining what these will be like when I sit in em and I was thinking this back seat would be cramped for passengers with all the other reviewers being 6'+. Looks like they'll have plenty of room!

      USA shortchanged on the 100th anniversary editions. The red Nappa leather with just enough dumb white trim. Although the center armrest cover needs 2 b red leather, not elbow staining white! Power folding/tilt down, heated and dimming mirrors should be in the premium package. Which should be renamed, Luxury packages

    As a Mazda fan boy I liked your review, I was perplexed by the idea of a Crossover in between the CX-3 and cx5 , but I think you hit the nail on the head, it’s for a couple, city dweller who doesn’t want a car.hatchback car.

    Test drove a 2022 Turbo Premium yesterday with 2,400 miles. Its now in my garage. As far as the rear seating. Im 5' 9" so the front seat is in the middle position.
    My son is 6' tall. He got in the backseat. Plenty of leg room. Fine for a family of 4. Why people devote so much negative press to this. Maybe its the water they are drinking!
    Build sheet.
    First titled 12/27/22 make sure!
    Owners manual.
    Adaptive headlights.
    Check oil.
    Bring easy pass.
    Make sure certified.
    Check front seats for damage/stains.
    Check under car.
    Check gaps.
    Check carpet.
    3 months free XM satellite.
    Check to see power seat both sides.

    I very much enjoyed your video. Everything about it was informational and professional. One thing that was left out was the fabulous Bose 12-speaker system. That plus the moonroof is what sold me. Thanks.

    I bought a premium awd in april 2020, and I am really happy with it. Is it perfect? Not quite. But I can live with its quarks.
    The best part is that I bought it at zero percent interest due to Coved 19.
    If you're thinking about a small car with very good snow and ice capability (with winter tires), look no further. Yes, I would buy it again.

    Your explanation makes me convince to buy CX30. I am thinking of Mazda 3 sedan, too.
    Thank you very much for your detailed explanation and review.
    I have a Mazda3 hatchback , Soul Red 2014. I have been very happy with the car.
    Mazda's cars in 40 years ago in Japan depreciated so fast compared with Toyota, Nissan and Honda.
    But Mazda's cars are very different now. They make a very high quality cars for the price, and the cars have many features for the price.
    Thank you again for your detailed review of the car.

      The added ride height and shape of the CX30 means you will not BANG, SMASH ,DENT your head getting in and out, like u will on the Mazda 3. Which looks almost exotic.

    I rented a CX-5 and it was nice to drive plenty of power up hills in New Mexico. It handled the corners great, quiet cabin ride, nice Bose system and it felt Premium. I'm 6'3 and it could use a few more inches of driver leg room. Gas mileage is average. One tank will get you 400 miles if you don't push it.

      Mazdas are super reliable vehicles. Consumer Reports, ranked mazda to be #1 reliable car in 2020. #2 is Toyota, #3 Lexus #4 Buick and #5 Honda to give you an idea. Currently, we own 18 cx9. Hi tech, safe and reliable suv. Considering cx30 or 3 hatch for a second car.

      Cravat with Buick reliability. That's in the 1 yr on the old models that haven't changed in 10yrs. Lease a Buick if u want, but buy/lease a Mazda because your savvy and like to actually DRIVE your vehicle.

    What is missing in the front and rear bumpers? Not how the car should be presented in a review. The fade effect of the rear turn signals does show up on cameria.

      It’s the covers for the front and rear tow hooks. Not sure why they were removed but not something I was going to overreact to as a videographer. As an independent automotive UA-cam channel it’s a blessing to have the opportunities to film reviews, and when it comes to things outside of my control I’m not going to demand perfection. Otherwise these videos will never be put together.

    For that price point you may as well get the cx5 🤔

    • @dominickwilliams3504
      @dominickwilliams3504 3 роки тому

      The cx5 turbo drives fantastic, and the Carbon EDITION pricing is better than the CX30 turbo. But the cx5 doesn't look new. Is it a 2013, 2016, 2021? In fact, a 2015 cx5 Gt looks fresher than a 2021 cx5 signature. While the CX30, even with, ang maybe because of the cartoonish cheap plastic body cladding looks futuristic. If the CX30 had the same available equipment in N.A. as overseas CX30, plus 8way power passenger seat, I would be in one now@$35k. Rioja red Nappa leather, thank u. Dreaming of pano roof....MAZDA, PANORAMIC ROOFS!!!!!!

    So you’re saying a car seat for a toddler is too big for this car? That even if we kept if for a few years it’s too small for kids?

    • @Karthik1516
      @Karthik1516 3 роки тому

      Should be ok for kids and car seat. Had mazda 3 in the past. Not that bad.

    • @dominickwilliams3504
      @dominickwilliams3504 3 роки тому

      Just bring your plastic wrapped car seat to the dealer and see if you like squishing and squeezing it in the small rear apertures on the CX30. The front seats have more room than it looks, so unless your 6'5, u can move the front seats up for more room in the back. It's the rear door openings and low roof that will make you bruised and aching from battling the car seat and child in and out. Get a cx5 Carbon EDITION turbo for ease of rear seat use, it just won't be as " latest car on the road looking" as a CX30.

      Cooled seats, power passenger seat, power folding mirrors, CD player, cupholder cover, excellent 6spd manual. The list goes on. Japan Mazda corporate thinks N.American/Australian, are dumb and uninformed. Hey Mazda...we dummies have GOOGLE!! One tap and we know your purposely leaving out features and delicious content for USA/Australian buyers. Please stop killing you potential sales. Don't just say your premium, be premium. Are you GLC or Signature?

    • @andeeangel561
      @andeeangel561 3 роки тому +2

      I prefer the white but unfortunately, the only one at my dealership has a black interior which means I can never find anything I drop or am looking for. Also, the white makes the car look wider than it is and I like that.

      Saddle brown, pumkin spice, red, blue, tartan plaid ? Mazda's Poop brown is depressing. While I'm criticizing, get rid of ALL piano black trim. Mazda Cork like in the MX30. Soft plastic used on the dash board in place of piano black. Just not in DooDoo brown.

    • @dominickwilliams3504
      @dominickwilliams3504 3 роки тому +1

      You will have 2 special order white leather. Dealers dont want the hassle of cleaning the white leather every time a person with blue or Omg noooo, red clothed customer sits in a white interior vehicle. I have a light creme Mazda leather interior. I tell people, no jeans, no red...period. I now have OCD. Lol

    No budget-built, random-reliability push-belt CVT = WIN. Thick cheap black plastic cladding = LOSE.

  • @dominickwilliams3504

    The CX30, 3 turbo editions, should have the equivalent suspension setups of the Subaru Outback and Legacy. Use Subaru Legacy seats too. Or steal Lexus RX/GS seat design tech, now that Mazda is partnering with Toyota.. I'm this close to getting CX30 turbo. But buying & installing the overseas market ,pwr fold mirrors and installing a left hand drive pwr drivers seat on the passenger side makes me look at Audi Q3 #slower & worst mpg, BMW X2 #cart-like ride, MB GLA # dorky egg shaped. Buick Envision, more$$, questionable reliability from China. Even Kona N, # brittle Korean plastic interior touch points. Cx5 Carbon with Signature convenience features or simply the 100th anniversary edt. Foolishly not sold in USA, #pleasant but 8yr old cx5 KODO styling. So I keep my customized 2010 Mazda 3Gt 3Gt 6spd until the cx50. But at 90kmiles and 11yrs and NYC/NJ potholes and traffic jams on my poor original clutch...

  • @dominickwilliams3504
    @dominickwilliams3504 3 роки тому +1

    The turbo CX30 changes the dynamics of the car by 100!. Please retest. The beam rear end on Mazdas turbos are a mistake. The DO NOT ride or handle as good as the 6, pre-2019 3 or any yr CX-4/5/8/9. See Subaru on how to make a light , plush, well handling suspension on the cheap. Mazda, just replicate inhouse the 8 SPD ZF transmission used in the BMW. More, 48volt mild hybrid tech. Larger brakes and tires. Especially on the anything over 250lbft torque.

  • @robertwilliam9558

    • @dominickwilliams3504
      @dominickwilliams3504 3 роки тому

      Mazda is spell bound by the sales of the Subaru Crosstrek and Outback. "Must be all that 'off roadie' oversized black plastic body cladding" so Mazda tries to out do them all...the big mistake is the undersized tires in the small wheel wells. CX30 is % close to being a clown car. Only Mazda would come to market with vehicles that turn off 70% of potential customers. Even Mazda's loyal Russian "eastern bloc" customers are scratching their heads on Mazdas new excessive use of black plastic with dinky tires.

    • @dominickwilliams3504
      @dominickwilliams3504 3 роки тому +1

      Dark colors in sunny hot areas = black plastic cheese melts. Signature top trim with body colored or contrast colored cladding, or red accents within the overwrought black trim.

      One is a nice mini van egg-box, the other is sleek and sexy. One can be had with 320lbft of torque w/o a droning, life sapping CVT. If any USA Mazda had the interior storage of a Honda, I would upgrade from my 2010 Mazda 3gt, 6spd. Until then, looks like expensive & unique Genesis GV70.

    U said you're 5'5, but I think you're more like 5'2. Your tiny in that small car. Btw, Mazda officials stated they engineer their vehicles for people of your statue. Not the average American or European. Mazda had to make the CX8 and CX4 for the Chinese market because they don't like small interior vehicles. Cx3, Mazda cx5 and 2,3 too small. Why Mazda doesn't have the same line up for china and America, mystery? Mazda needs to look at a bmw option sheet and make sure they have those options in their top level cars. Not just alot of chrome trim.
