Scammer has the sniffles, he made my nose twitch. Foam cannot be sent, only downloaded. Always listen to the BBB, no downloading! Are there any laws being broken by his attempt to have you currupt your computer? It would be great to have a cheap computer on an isolaed network so you can follow through with the software download to further incriminate them with the actual evidence of the harmful software.

This scam is scamming itself. Forgetting about computer viruses are rampant. And he was pissed about her questioning the safety from the download without a computer on his end.
These are not central indians, more like Bengalis or indians based around Culcutta region. Jim browning can pin them down. However whichever areas they are operating in or from all of them need to locked u for long times
Always try that same line on their script in a pathetic attempt to insure the victim..."Not going to ask you for your account numbers, routing number or bank card!" While trying to gain access to the computer!
You are very good at these calls....it appears you are " biting your lip" (must be hard to not laugh at times) so to speak with some of these guys that are trying to get to do things their biding.
Not to be racist but obvious red flag is always a think Hindi accent and when you bring up questions/objections they tend to blurt "listen to me, listen to me..."

I rang one of these these nice guys but they were BBB accredited business (stated on the refund form) so they were ok. They were kind enough to show my stopped services and for security purposes put a syskey on my machine. PS. Information required on the form includes your name, address, date of birth, credit card details, email, last 4 digits social security, landline number, cell phone number, etc

The problem is they’re in foreign countries and their own governments don’t have the willpower and/or the resources to prosecute them.

Next time you call a refund scammer, tell him you are having problems at your bank and ask him to make the refund using gift cards!
