How are you doing this video? I thought you were supposed to have been arrested 45 minutes after hanging up from the last one? Are you out on bail? LOLOLOL
Well you know the office he's calling from is in the mountains of Tibet, and getting a cop to travel to North Carolina(???), at this time is just a bear. Love these videos and please be careful when dealing with these types of calls, be well and thanks.
Thanks for helping bring awareness of this scam attempt. Interestingly, at 3:48, he seems to have slipped up on his acting cause he had to ask his supervisor what his role-play name was. You can hear him say, "Lori, what's my name?"
Hi Julie, really enjoyed this video especially asking the question about the snow and too stay warm. Just proves they are not from where they-say they are as we know the type of climates and weather throughout North America. Keep up the great work. Your friends from Canada.
What we actually do get snow here in North Carolina. Not like you guys in Illinois but we definitely do get snow. Last month we got 11 in in 36 hours and it was pretty cold the high was around 21.
Thank you very much for the information. I got the same call about 2 years ago. I knew this was a scam and I notified the real IRS, by their website. Thank you again for the information from Brooklyn, NY
Last time I did any expressions like that it was in the court room as a spectators watching and my mom was also with me and the judge said that we can't do that or we will be kicked out 😬😱
He said Court House. They usually say Goat house. Do one thing! Arrest in 45 minutes!!!! "How much do you have it?" Its fun to have sound effects for "driving the car to CVS". Great job on the call!
It's a scam always. I've been threatened arrest by coming to my house. I've told them that I'll be waiting. No one showed. One time those scammers informed me to go to a retailer & wire them money. I've told that person to meet me there. I did go to the location & it was a check cashing place who are aware of those scams.
They are all scams. I've been threatened too. He said he has my address. I said ok. I'll be waiting outside. I get lots of calls from the phony IRS, credit card services, free criuses, etc. stay alert.
What I love so much about her channel is that she wastes so much time for these SCAMMERS because at the end of her videos you know these scammers are pist of all the time they just wasted keep up the good work.
Thanks for posting this. I had the same type of call, and they wanted me to send them money from Walmart. So, I told them that there was an IRS office on the way to Walmart, and then asked if I could just make the payment there. The reply was pretty funny.
Yes!! Another Julie video frustrating the shit out these scammers! I love how shes always in control of the conversation and never gets excited, never gets angry never gives information and turns he table on these morons!😂🤣
They called me and I strung them out for 15 minutes. When I told him that I did not have a bank account, he tried to get me to pay the $2,700+ amount with i-Tune gift cards. Can't make this stuff up.
When they ask for YOUR number, give them the number of the IRS, the FBI, or--best of all--the IRS number in India (the one in Pakistan is hard to find on the website). Yes, India has it's own IRS with it's own contact number.
The only thing more funny than watching these videos and this idiot on the phone try to talk his way into your wallet are the auto-generated subtitles that I decided to turn onto a company this hilarious 5 minutes and 49 Seconds Of My Life
Whenever I get these calls, I quiz them about what branch of the government they operate under, how many branches of the government there are, who is in charge of each branch, etc. These are basic civics questions that anyone who works for the IRS would be able to answer easily. Most of the time they hang up once I pin them down, but I did have one guy admit to me he was a scammer and that someday he wanted to scam Bill Gates. You get em' champ.
I've gotten at least 10 calls last month, as far as I'm concerned I think im serving 2 life sentences because 1. I didn't pay and 2. I mocked them with an Indian accent. I'm screwed lol
Great video! You should've told him his elephant got towed for triple parking! But seriously, I think you (and similar UA-camrs) should put those phone numbers in the video so we can call them and harass them for a while. I wanna have some fun too! :D
My mom is very good at making accents, so when these "IRS" people call, she talks to them with the same accent as them and try to be a fake IRS scammer. They usually get really confused and they hang up. It's really funny to listen to her talk with the people.
Never heard them ask for a wire transfer all the irs scam videos I've watched they ask them to go to the store [Walmart target etc.] and get gift cards. Just ran across your videos, so far I like them. :)
Bill Tonge, Hoax Hotel is great. Have you seen any videos from Pappamonkey or Wenja 92? They are awesome, too. (my favorites) I think you'll like them. Because being a racist isn't ever cool. Indians or Pakistanis are not the only scammers out there. Nor are they always working for scammers. All you just did was reduce it down to one group of people.
I don't know anyone who refers to the "courts" as the "Courthouse." Everyone I know refers to the courts as simply "court." When theses characters refer the "courthouse" it is a dead giveaway that theses calls are not from the IRS.
I love how EVERY-SINGLE-ONE, of these "I.R.S." scammers...Have a thick foreign accent. (Smdh) We really enjoy your videos! Please continue this series, Many laughs are had at the expense of these ridiculously dumb "IRS agents" 😄😄😄
I once had the guy from the ISR on the phone for 30 min. Ended up offering to ship him enough cocaine to cover the amount. The rude man cursed at me and hung up. To whom do I complain at the IRS?
Saw the last video and had a good laugh, but some people cave in to these scammers which is a shame. Any way this scammer sounds like a ROBOcall in his speech, I guess he has a hard time reading his script. Just be careful and don't fall for these thieves!
AGENT "RICHARD WILLIAM". This is a classic type of scam name. The scammers are from other countries, usually Nigeria, Ghana, India or Latvia. "Richard William", "Steve Benjamin", (or in the case of a scammer I encountered) "Larry James". They have poor grammar, poor spelling, and speak in heavy foreign accents. They also don't understand expressions or slang like "oh brother" (I said this, the scammer said "No, we not needing your brother, we only need talk to you..."), "you don't say!", " that sucks", " My ass" ( scammer thought I was referring to a donkey!), etc.

Is there no way to hurt these people other than quietly mocking them when they try this crap? The only people this scam hurts is our elderly or uneducated population. I am betting the elderly are their target.
In the US, do you refer to the courts as the courthouse? In the UK, I only ever hear people refer to it as the court. Presumably it's called courthouse in India though.
Julie, if you ever go to prison for tax evasion I'll bring you some home baked cookies. My "IRS" scam call said that the agency was filing lawsuits against me and gave me a phone number w/ a Montana area code to call for details. I didn't make the call but did send the IRS an email about the incident. Never heard back; they probably don't have the staffing to chase down all the scammers. my comment posted 07/26/2018
Next time you're on the phone with an IRS scammer ask why is that the IRS, an American federal agency, doesn't employ any Americans. Also ask the scammer, who is clearly a foreigner, how they got the name Tom Jones (or whatever common American name they give you). Keep up the good work!
Why yes I have $5000 in cash! I've been scamming the IRS for years and have saved more than a half a million in off-shore accounts. I'm surprised you didn't find the rest of the taxes I owe!
2:09 - The second option is to buy $5,000 in gift vouchers and mail them to this address.... Julie: Oh. OK. Would that be "out of the courthouse", or "out of court"?
Please try to keep them in the phone longer. Really waste their time! The more time with you, the less with some poor person who may pay them. Good work.
First of all, the IRS would never answer the phone on the second ring.
@Kai lol ! that's right, it would take several days.
The IRS will NEVER call you anyway. They will always send you a letter in the mail
'Hi there, IRS here, agent Peterson. How are your kids and wife? '
They would pick up after 5 rings and then put you on hold for 30 mins
How are you doing this video? I thought you were supposed to have been arrested 45 minutes after hanging up from the last one? Are you out on bail? LOLOLOL

Julie, you're always fun to watch. Thanks for handling these pesky calls like I wish I could. :-)
Can’t believe anyone would fall for this. Pure comedy when they ring. “Richard William” 😂😂😂. More like Ranjit Wissopot.
These idiots scammers need long jail time.
They sure have a high percentage of Indian's working for the IRS 😉 Ha ha! Richard William, that well known Indian name.
Gotta love the No Drama Llama!
I just got through watching the other "IRS" scammer video. Again, I think it is amazing that you guys are sharing this!
We need more people like you!

Never thought I would be entertained by a Better Business Buro video. I got a call from the "Internet Security Agency" once and did the same thing.
STAY WARM RICHARD WILLIAM. BWAHAHAHAHAHA. Please never stop doing these.
As long as there are scammers out there we will keep calling them!
Kinda intriguing that all IRS people answering calls have odd accents.

Why does no-one ever point out the most obvious sign of a scam call? The strong Indian accent with an English name. Or is that not PC?
It is the most obvious point, but admitting that to the public would contradict their programming.

That’s awesome. You know the education needs to be there. Especially for older folks. They get taken for a lot of cash every year.
What would they do if someone offered to pay directly to the IRS?
Elizabeth Czepiel No, they only take grocery store cards or Apple Store cards as payment. Seems legit, right?

Very much so
