I grew up eating Pasta Fagioli, my grandmother's favorite dish to make, having learned from her parents who were born in Italy. My grandmother passed a few years ago and since she always cooked without a recipe, I never knew how to make this dish. Finding your channel has been such a gift. It feels like my grandmother is still here with us every time we make this dish. Thank you so much for sharing your home and wonderful recipes with us! My Grandmother would have adored you!
I found your video's two years ago and have made several of your dishes. They all have turned out very good. I've had several compliments by guests who have eaten the dishes, especially the Pasta e Fagioli. Keep cooking. I saw where Chef Pasquale died and was so sad until I learned it was another Chef Pasquale. Glad to see you're still alive and cooking Italian food.
I could never make up my mind on which was my very favorite soup, Pasta Figoli or Italian wedding soup. Last night I began making my stock/broth for the Italian Wedding soup and a salad for dinner tonight. I somehow pulled up the recipe for this and ended up making both together and let me tell you what a DELIGHTFUL accident! Little sausage meatballs, pancetta, acini -de- pepe pasta, ditaline pasta, cannelini beans, spinach, and carrots in a rich broth I made from a Turkey dinner and simmered 12 hours with aromatics, veggies, garlic and herbs. Dinner's going to be great! LOVE your videos!!
I have been watching all Sunday afternoon ... about 3 1/2 hrs. Love Italian cooking . I will check Amazon for his cook book. Thanks for doing all this Mr. Sciarappa
Wonderful! Listening to you makes me feel like I'm a little girl again. I miss my Grandpa and Gramma and Dad so much but hearing you and seeing you cook makes me happy again!
Love your cooking. I am Maltese that loves to cook. But my Husband loves to drink the Wine. I remember my Parents made us good ravioli home made that was my favorite meal. I would love to come over and eat at your house Orsara. I live in Florida for five months than I go back to Canada.
Just found this video and enjoyed every minute of it!👍😀 So nice to see your wife and hear your son be a part of this.😁 My mama was from Trieste and she made this a lot. She told me this is considered "a poor man's meal" and never serve it to guests!😆
love this man, I will probably leave the same comment on all these videos because I can't think of anything more true!! I enjoy him and his yummy food.
Love the recipes, they look so easy and simple but full of love and flavor. For the cookbook have you ever thought about QVC or HSN, either one of those networks can reach so many people that would fall in love with your pa and his way of home cooking.
My Italian mother-in-law taught me this recipe when I first got married. I love it. I’m 80 now and still love it!
I can't tell you how much I enjoy your videos. Brings me so much joy to my soul. Long life to you and thank you for sharing!

My father was from Sicily, and he made the pasta fagioli with garbanzo beans. It had a thick delicious puree base. Lots of Hot flake pepper on top!
