I make this too. What I would do is omit the stock, add a little plain tomato sauce or peeled tomates for color, also add onion with garlic and undercook the pasta so it can cook with the beans and still be al dente. Cheese of course. Enjoy. Thanks Pasquale, the dried beans from scratch make the dish.

I saw a band in your face holding the phone when you was doing the pasta. That was distracting. I like the part you strain the pasta with the spoon safe than carrying the hot pot to the sink to stain add that would be heavy and to hot. I like the method you have. I'm gonna try this recipe . Chickpeas and garbanzo beans are the same thing, just different names for the same type of bean.

Your great .. your humor, your cooking your stories from Italy, how you garden etc high five to you. Question tho. Wish the camera wasn’t vertical it’s a tight view. Rather see camera width way so we can see better. This is a good protein way of eating pasta. Chick pea has protein which is great for vegetarians. I’d like to see close up of the food . your son is mostly filming you full length but we can’t always see the garlic in the pan the color it’s suppose to be etc.when your son talks or laughs etc keep in mind it’s louder to us on our end, as he’s close up it as tho he’s shouting. Many blessings to you and family. and thank you for sharing giving us new recipes. The calendars we keep like cook books❤

@zonephoto No, I've never been to Olive Garden. I am Neapolitan/Calabrese. I've been to Naples and Rome. I've been to their restaurants there. I've been to fine Italian restaurants in NYC. My family NEVER used hot peppers in Italian food. That goes for my aunts, uncles, and some friends who are from Calabria. Hot peppers are for other cuisines. So, now go eat at McDonalds or Burger King. That is more on your level.
