Oh I remember Pete from my days living in southern Palm Beach county must be over 15 years ago. Bought jackfruit lychee and Valencia Pride mangoes from his wife. Really nice people they are.
I like Pete. A man of knowledge.
I like the fact that he an honest man.
He’s got a a dream orchard
Pete is amazing, Thanks for all the knowledge Pete!
I love these so much. I used to get a bag on the way to beach. Miss them both!
Pete's a good guy.
Thank you Paul. You asked plenty of good questions. I have about a dozen lychee seedlings growing right now so this video was very helpful 🙏
Great information. I picked up some Lychees other day they didn’t last 24 hours in my house. So good 😋
33.8k..Very nice work...I have subs
Thank you both for this! It might be helpful to list the nutrients he is using. As for pronunciation, in Mandarin it's pronounced lee chee. In Cantonese its lie tsee. I'd stick with Mandarin, which most American authorities like this man use.❤
How old is this guy? He looks so healthy. Is this in West Palm Beach?
Seen a few of them growing in Arkansas at a free canpground. Not sure if they took the winter blast in 2022 though.😢
Wish he explained the lychee tree nutrient requirements better. Beautiful lychee orchard!Am growing a Brewster in a container in Orlando and hoping for the best.
You should have good luck. I live in Orlando as well and have a hak-ip, brewster, and Mauritius, all being young(3'). I have already fruited the Hak-ip and Mauritius, with the Mauritius being the smallest of the 3(got about 20 fruits on it 2 weeks ago). They do well here
@@alexmurphy4040thanks for sharing. which one tastes the best ?
@@SW-pn4ww haven't tasted brewster yet, but I like Mauritius better than Hak ip
Have a beautiful lychee tree where I live, its been a good 12 years growing and has never bore fruit?
The Y in Lychee is long.
Lychee can grow and produce as far as poinciana.
(Lee-chee) and (Chee-nah) is how you pronounce lychee and Cheena
He hears the grower say, "Lee-Chee," and he keeps saying, "Lee-Chay!" Must be the Brooklyn accent?
In South Africa, lychee is spelt and said as litchi so its probably litchi😅
Here litchi is a tomato
Li Zhi is the original spelling in Chinese.
My lychee shrub failed to give any fruit this year. 2022 was the first year of fruiting, and we got a good 15-20 kgs.
Nothing in 2023, and only half kg this year.
What plant food are you using
What nutrients he uses?
I would like to know that too!
I think he use D-vitamins. He needs more sun 😂😂😂😂
his contact info is in the description you can ask him what exactly he uses.
his facebook link isnt working
I just clicked it it is fine
@@FruitfulTrees Must be an issue on my end thanks
So irritating to hear lychee mispronounced. Lychee comes from china and is pronounced Lychee.
I have another interview coming out and the person say in China they say it two ways
@@FruitfulTrees i say it one way, yummmeeee 😂
You must be easily irritated.
That's not the real name.
They don't originate in China. @@FruitfulTrees
