This is a guy/business that needs to be supported due to his honesty (and prices). He is being honest about him up potting the trees, it is now a common practice to sell you what is really a 1 gal as a 3 gal just because they moved it to a larger pot. Sometimes those trees are not even rooted yet and can die if transplanted at home immediately. On top of that they are selling 3 gal at $45+ when they are really a 1 gal tree. Paul, thanks for promoting Treesnmore!
This is the man! Only person I ever heard presenting the blackie mango. I had 1 tree and every time I ask the south Florida Plant group, they say they don’t know what variety it is. Only my Jamaican friends know
This is wonderful, thank you for these highlights of local nurseries. I am not far from Walter Zill I would say a bit North West of him. Man, glad folks are buying fruit trees, but not happy with the competition either. 😂
Much more honest than the guy at the other farm in the Redlands you usually interview. He is not trying to rip people off with crazy prices and small trees. Will definitely support this nusery.
Watching from Australia.. amazing see n reading and watching how readily these trees are avail To us and love our climate being sub and tropical.. so many have mangoes avocados abiu , lemon drops jacarda every guava red white bla bla etc etc... loads trees that are apprently indian African etc are here also growing and common sights .. If can find my all time fav . Feijoa ❤ find mammoth feijoa and let her go ( u will need two from two different places as are not seld pollinating u will get fruit but with 2 you will get buckets and buckets full !! Another is the Abiu ❤ def a brillant one to have . Taste like caramel. Also tamarillo ❤ sapote white taste like custard the black taste like chocolate ❤❤. Here you can get a seedling about foot or 2 tall or about year old for about $25 au dollars . They fruit if given eight care at about 2yrs ..ohhh another you guys must try is the Panama berry ❤ taste vanilla like. Try stay away root stock .. esp fruiting vines.. u may get fruit faster turns plant into an adult but can also waste life waiting for an to grow for fruit that never comes . Above aka our trees tend to like a more sandy loom slightly acidic and hate wet feet !! Nice light airy soils . Rleso these ones this guy talks about
@13:02 Khiew Sawoey is from Thailand. We eat them green but it has to be completely full grown. It's crunchy and creamy at the same time. The colour is dark green when it is ready to eat. It's quite big. Possibly about 1.5 lbs.
I'm in Orlando and have a tree in my backyard that I grew from Seed, I wanted to grow the ones from my mothers house in Miami but unfortunately I lost my opportunity to get a seed, so my niece picked me up a fruit from down there in South Miami near Homestead... Anyway the fruit looked like my mothers fruit did... They are massive fruits and taste like butter... They are so delicious... Anyway, mine are fruiting and are creating bigger and bigger fruits every year... I also planted a Mango seed because I missed my chance for a fruit from my mothers trees... You gotta understand about her trees... They were picked up from David Fairchild child himself... Her house was built in 1926 on in the Shenandoah Grove area of SW Miami... They were the best fruits I have ever eaten and I've eaten my fair share of mango and avocado!!!
Wow, I didn't know abt this gentleman. I'm in palm beach gardens just south of him. I will definitely be calling him for an appointment/ show up time. Ty for great content!
What a knowledgeable, great guy to listen to. A wealth of fruit tree information. Thanks for this Paul. Would love to see a future video of him grafting if you can line up a video of that, maybe avocado grafting or mango; always of great interest to me.
Paul you are doing a great service to avid fruit tree growers. Thank you for being inquisitive and humble with great questions! Keep up the good work! Your channel is better than the so called experts
Oh yes Jamaican and Trinidadian loves Julie mango Bombay and East Indian and also Starch mango I am looking for a Starch mango tree but no one had it Laura farms Miami I saw starch on his webpage but sold out and I am always checking his website for starch mango anyway I love this video very knowledgeable
Paul, I really appreciated your UA-cam videos about fruit trees. I have learned a lot from watching your videos. I want to visit Mike's fruit farm. How do I contact him?
Did you say you use moringa oleifera leaf extract for pest control? Only polyembryonic trees will grow true from seed. It looks like he has way more than 5 acres there. Thanks
If I could trees to america I'd make a fortune by sounds lol.. we forget how lucky we are in tropics esp hearing how root stock and taking soooo long and still so small!! Maune the whole grafting rootstock thing is actually doing more harm long term as in ours are so much bigger esp looking at his nearly 3 yr old lemon drop omg at 3 years ours are dropping fruit and atleast 6 foot ..that's like a seedling here say 6mth to 1 yr old . Looking at rain tho we get rain in summer winter is dry. And rains when have summer storms so pours down in heatvgor like hour then its muggy as all hell !! Somethjng to consider also keep off ground if pots or keep trees UP higher ground as they do not like wetness or roots being wet for extended periods we are sandy so water goes in and as fast it out . Likes lol dampness humidity but water when feed ..most will go in a 50ltr pot and do fine as adults just feed . Heaps stock tress woht flower or fruit cos this and after waiting so long to see fruit YEARD why bother if at risk no fruit . Just grow em from seed!! And 2 of . They are not self pollinating so need two !! And two as in two from totally different sources !! Or two total diff variety dont go but two trees from same place for best pollination ya need two from two places if any one have ever or still waiting after 2 yrs no fruit! That's why or you will get maybe a couple fruits sign needs another lover lol. Never get root stock vines ! Kiwiberry etc they thru spurs under ground and take over sonya see teeny fruit or none . ❤
Imagine this guy living in the equatorial tropics where there's zero frost or storms, instead of Florida; he'd be living in a veritable paradise by now.
This guy is obviously straight up. He is probably making a mistake with his thoughts on Super Haas however. One of the worst avocados you could grow and my thoughts are the same as many others with this variety who sell exotic fruits.
Is easy to grow vegetables and fruits but the problem is, who can buy all from you ?? I was planting watermelon avocados tomatoes cucumbers and many more but cannot sell all and I was losing money because the fumigation’s are not free also the fertilizer and and that don’t you guys think all this is just to plant and grow because it’s hard to find who can buy it all

He sprays with carcinogenic pesticides though, not great.
@@hoon_sol if that is the case, I agree, not great.

He literally says it in the video, he sprays with Bravo, which is proven to be carcinogenic.

Carrie definitely need to be picked green off the tree.
I live in zone 8A - 7B & have many containers that are taken in for winter. Are there mangoes & citrus that will grow under these conditions?
Yes I hae a video about growing in doors look for it on my channel
What are some of the early avocados for our area, In Port st Lucie
call mike and ask him
Which is better Coconut cream or M4?
M4 isnt as pickey with flowers and fruit.
@@Carlos1075 It tastes overbearingly like malibu coconut rum.
Can you tell me why I can’t grow an avocado tree in south Louisiana? Thanks🙏🙏🙏
if it gets too cold they won't grow
Thanks
something odd i noticed that under all those cinder blocks, there is something growing.
I see that too.
I have a lime tree about 7 ft tall nice and wide been in the ground for 8 year and never ever fruited. Why?
what variety do you have
Tell customers to take them into greenhouse or house.
How about people who does not live in FL? Can you ship?
Do treesmore ship their fruit plants?
What can I grow in containers in zone 8A please?
it's tricky because if it gets too cold you have to bring some things inside
Why do you have them on bricks?
Is there a website how do I order trees!!!???
😢😢
Where is this place located?
Palm City
Are these pick up only!!!
yes
What is his hour?
You have a typo on the graphic title. FRIST/FIRST
