Great video. You should list what mods you guys have. Looks like a keyed starter and front discs at a minimum. My 51 with a foot switch and drums could never hold on some of those angles!
Thank you for the praise. I’ve never really thought of a key switch as an upgrade but it definitely is especially when on a hill and trying to start it. As for other upgrades, a few do have disc brakes or maybe 11” brakes. As for Old 6 Quart, it has stock brakes and a locker in the rear. I’ve added an overdrive as well. The key switch has been on it since we bought it in 1972.

Some have lockers but not all. Old 6 Quart has a rear locker and “Smokey and 2 Stroke” I believe are both open diffs. Not sure on the others.
On one of our last trips we had the same problem and found the silicone was caused from a fuel filter failing.
That’s weird, I need to find a good filter for my fuel line. I had debris in the carburetor jets on our recent trip to Colorado.
