Heart and chest opener yoga poses with assisted fish pose

- Release tension, stress, and anxiety in your chest, heart, and middle back with my FAVORITE heart opener. We start with slow breathing, left hand on heart, right hand on belly. Inhale and exhale through your nose.
Then we move into cat and cow, low lunge with cactus circle arms, and puppy pose.
To get into position for assisted fish pose (matsyasana), use two blocks, a rolled up yoga mat or towel, a bolster, or a foam roller. Put the edge of the block at the end of your shoulder blades, and carefully lean back. Use the second block under your head if needed. Depending on your flexibility, you can remove the block under your head, or turn the block under your back to the highest level. I show and explain all options in the video. *If you are pregnant, create an incline with pillows or bolsters. The highest part under your head and chest and the lowest part under your lower back, Position the bolster or pillow lengthwise along your spine.
