Hey Dave! Love the tutorial. Got a question for you. Im trying to apply this effect to a complicated car model. Ive tried connecting objects + delete to make the car a single object, then im applying the fracture with a matrix but a lot of the parts are still reacting to the plain effector as their own objects. any advice?
Hi mate, just make sure your car model has nice even geometry and it should work. You could try posting your project on our Facebook Group and someone can have a look for you if you like;)
Hello thanks for a great tut! However, I cannot render the head! it doesn't appear in my render viewer (for final render). When I use render view (or preview) it does appear but not when I want to render the project. If I uncheck the Voronoi fracture , the head re-appears so the problem seems to be with the Voronoi. I am using R19 and with 2 effectors (plain and delay) I got the same animation u did. I have all ready to render except for the fact that the head disappears for my final render (I used my own model of a head). Any thoughts?
@@donjanssens5341 thanks but if that was the prob then the head would also not show when Voronoi is off. Anyway in the end it was a temporary issue as afterwards I was able to render normally

Yep, use a plain effector with falloff and a delay effector, you just dont have fields
