My gameplay and knowledge of this game increased exponentially after only watching one of your videos have since watched many more. I appreciate the way you explain your thought process every step of the way awesome work. Was a hard curve ball going from the Masochist to unlock the spike shield to the Golem to run this build lol got mashed
I think this is one of the easiest character. My first try danger 5 is super unlucky. No harvesting until wave 10. After wave 13 did i get first level 3 rock. Yet i still go through whole round by adding speed and dodge beside the base hp and armour. Simply running away from boss is the only thing needed to be kept in mind.
you see the reduced damage by looking at the difference in damage just before the wave ends, and after. triangle made ur dmg around 46 while in the shop it jumped back to 68
Nice work with the guide series, it's been fun watching them so far. In my case, with the golem in particular, i really like going with 4 gost axes and 2 flints. It's actually quite easy to get the stacks rolling thanks to the golem large starting health pool, it lets you be really aggresive early on to get the stacks going and mitigates the fact that you are reducing your armour. It also helps in getting dodge really fast, and by the time you are facing an elite you should have time to get a good amount of armour + the damage from the stacks making it actually quite the chill run in my experience, unless you get some nasty elite for melee of course. If you haven't tried it yet i would highly recomend it, specially if you want to try it for enless and swap 2 of the axes for the sceptre when you feel it's time. In my runs i usually get to 300% dmg and AS by wave 20, most times with a good eHP pool for golem. Hope you are still having fun with the game, cheers~.
I just beat Golem with your strategy. I wasn't sure I could do it since my first 5 wins came with fast healing characters, like Lich. In my early Golem runs I'd get overwhelmed on wave 12 or 14 due to lack of damage. But the axes took care of that and I was even able to kill the elites.
Watched quite alot of your Guides Just to gain Game knowledge while doing stuff way different in certain Chars went for Ghost weapons on the Golem for danger 5 wich worked out quite well
Just to check - does the weapon not exist at all on xbox, or is it locked? Normally you need to unlock it by getting a win with masochist (any difficulty). If it just doesn't exist on xbox I'd recommend stick, that's a great weapon that should do a lot of the same things by giving you free damage and hp
Awesome, glad it's helping! I think if you want a ranged build on golem you'd want a higher-damage weapon (guns probably). The strength of slingshots is sustaining with lifesteal, which golem obviously can't do.
Thanks, Glad you like them! And don't worry about it, it's a hard game! No shame in taking a few tries, especially since the classes often make you rethink your entire strategy every time.
One of the most important things Luck does is make enemies more likely to drop the consumable fruits - since the golem can't heal, those don't do anything for you. It's still not a bad stat on the character, just missing one of the angles that normally makes it strong.
I struggled with this effing rock forever. I could NEVER get it thru my head that I couldn’t heal! It it’s done now. But seriously, (and this is meant as a compliment), how many horseshoes do you have shoved up how many orifices to get a build like that?????? Thx as always!!

Thanks to your guide I beat my first D5 level as golem. Big thanks!
Been going through these various videos after finally getting my paws on the game and they've been great help even if I'm not up to 5 Danger yet.

the occasional giggles in between the sentences are so wholesome 🥰
haha :D

hmm but have you considered that math is for nerds

Thanks so much! That's a very interesting idea for the golem, I'll have to give that a try!

@@MagpieMcGraw Glad it was of help to you :D, hope you are having fun with the game. Have a great day, cheers~
This was my very last Brotato character for 100% achievement completion. Thanks again, it’s been fun! Until Brotato 2!!
Nice, congrats!
gg :)

This character is insanely powerful and fun. It's nice to feel unkillable for once.
Yeah it's tricky to get a handle on because it's so different but one of my favorites to actually play.
Im playing golem on xbox and i dont have the spiky shield, what else can i use?

@@Cephalopocalypseit exists I just fucking hate playing Masochist (no offense)
Great video as always
the thumbnail is on point
Will be trying out golem this way for sure! I’ve only ever played it full slingshot and didn’t do great haha

I love these videos it just sucks that it takes me like 10 runs to beat a character

been stuck on this bastard for awhile
Good luck! This is definitely on the harder end but I found this build helped a lot
I cant choose the spikey shield as a starter. Playing on xbox
You unlock it by getting a win with the masochist (on any difficulty). If you want to do golem first, Stick is probably the next best weapon!
@@Cephalopocalypse ok tnx!
Not a class guide request but a challenge run idea: pick whatever brotato you want with any weapon build you want but you can’t reroll anything
That's a cool idea but I think it's probably impossible! You'd get so little out of each shop that helped.
A more reasonable challenge would be to reroll you have to buy at least 1 of the 4 items available.
You are playing on a console, right? My game on PC looks different a bit, the fireballs and also my character does not have a little circe under.
Nope, PC - the circles come from turning on character highlighting and projectile highlighting in options
Late night recording making your dodging seem more humanlike
BEEP BOOP I MUST BROTATO
Can you do enterpreneur pls ?
Good news! It's already recorded and should be next to go up!
Your awesome
Welp, guess I gotta search masochist guide now then...
Good news! I have one of those up as well - and all the other characters too :D
Why is Luck not as good on this character?

Got absolutely destroyed. I dont like this class its hard to kill elites.
