The only thing is, the weapons aren't sold when entering the shop. You get no materials back. They are DESTROYED and you gain nothing for it. In my mind, having never played and only watched, I think that would be a fine buff to give you the sell value back.
Imagine if you bought low and sold high, so while you might think a turret build is best, you quickly discover that you generate wealth by losing weapons over time, the more you invest in weapons the faster your economy grows, and you end up reroll bound
Any ideas on how you would be compensated for this since there would be absolutely no point in getting weapons if that was the case... But there should be dome kind of buff to be gained from sacrificed weapons for that cause how else would the character deal with enemies? Or otherwise the shop should not even be giving weapons to such a char...
@@Glover1690 that would be an awesome charecter that it wont remove the weapons but just for the round you get the aura to do dammage but in the shop you still have the aeaposn you bought so you can have class perks and level up the weapons
This is my favourite brotato!! I love the variety in each run with him. I have become somewhat of an expert. Every round is a puzzle you must solve. Start by buying every weapon you see except turret weapons and build it from there. Recycle anything and just spend all your money every time because you might get a good cheap weapon Get points in melee and range damage, luck is HUGE on this character as it gives you much better weapons. And damage from items Don't go to negative range stat Good luck!
I did this with engineering and elemental damage, it takes a few tries to get the correct items but just the sausage and extra mines/turrets are good enough because then it doesn't matter as much what weapons you have
I think the easiest way to do Arms Dealer is to start locking your weapons early on. Most of the time, you can keep going with like-weapons if you are constantly thinking about your next stage's starting weapon. The more you have of a specific weapon, the more likely you will get that weapon, so if you start with one (for example) pistol, your next few rolls will much more likely contain a pistol, or range weapons in general. You definitely don't need 6 weapons at all times, so sometimes it's more important to lock the weapon you want for next stage more than getting your 6th weapon.
I ran a Renegade elemental build with the Icicle and I cannot tell you how much fun that was. I used to dislike the renegade for some stupid reason lol. I do not look forward to having to do this one when I unlock the character.
I feel like he could be way better if they just implemented the following changes: 1. Recycles weapons instead of destroying them when entering shop. 2. Gains buffs to various damage stats and harvesting each time a weapon is recycled.
I noticed a lot of the time I saw you roll when it would have been similar or even cheaper to buy the last weapon/item in the shop. Which you probably shouldn't do unless the last is actively detrimental.

Is it me or this -95% price for weapons is not true ? Like at wave 3 or 4 you get weapons for 3 coins, so that means that this is 5% of it's real price, which would be 60 coins ? My math is broken or I don't get something 🤔
Arms Dealer is by far one of the easiest characters to utilize in the game. The truth on him is simple, if you think he's bad you're just stuck in a weapon-oriented playstyle :P
