i went for the thief dagger, pretty fun to end up with like 3-4k material every round. i certainly could have played it better with my piggy bank at the end and probably gone up to hundred thousand but rolling is just the best haha. Learned a lot from your videos the past week. Really informative content, thank you :)
Thank you for making these Brotato videos! They're fun and entertaining to watch and give great tips for playing the game. I often watch a bit before playing for some inspiration and ideas. Great work!!!
Just watched the one handed episode this morning, knowing that bloody hand was coming after the two triangles was like knowing a train wreck was about to happen, but no way of stopping it. Went pretty well though, all things considered!
I just had my all-time best run with the thief dagger on Loud. It was simply epic. In the end I had 10 friendly aliens and 5 mice, so I think it's the most # of enemies that you can get in this game. And with the income from the daggers and the hunting trophies it was just insane how well equipped I was from round 9 onwards.
Thief dagger is so fun on this character, it was a real struggle to decide which build to show off but I thought for the sake of making a guide it should be the most consistent
My man. I just had the same build yesterday. I went straight into endless for the first time and lastet until wave 40 without even trying. I was just completely off the charts from around wave 10 onwards. Crazy good character.
I also like that item a lot, but I think it's more of a luxury item than a necessity - neither of the stats it gives actually improve your combat ability. Loud can probably afford them easily though!
The SMG did not stand up well against all the crowds. Fortunately, the shop took pity and provided bazookas which evened the playing field. That said, I beat it first try despite the close contest with the SMG so still a lot of fun.
I find taking harvesting on loud is better than ignoring it. You're gonna average more than +10 harvesting per wave if you just take it when you see it, more than balancing out the 3 harvesting Loud loses. And if you get The Crown, having just 38 or more harvesting completely cancels out Loud's debuff, which if you just take harvesting when it's offered, you should easily have that much by wave 5 or 8.
It's worth mentioning that one of the Loud's best endless build is to go Ghost Flints until you have ~2000% Attack Speed or hit lvl 40 then transitioning to Shuriken.
I've noticed that I've struggled with SMGs in later waves where the enemies come in faster than the SMG can clear them, leading to a wall that I can't clear and eventually overwhelms me. That lack of pierce only hits the 'front' of the wall and can't clear past it. I'm assuming that I need to focus on flat damage earlier in the run to build it up?
Yeah smg builds strong off flat ranged damage. I don't even buy attack speed with them. Without pierce or baby w beard it's easy to struggle in the later rounds on danger 5 tho. I just keep laying flat damage on it till it solves the problem if I never find pierce.
For sure, any form of farming build is super fun. I wanted to show off the most consistent strategy for the guide but honestly you can do pretty much anything and it will be awesome
Enjoy your content, but wanted to share a clarification, though this is an older video. You do lose XP when you have negative harvesting. The limit is that you can't lose a level. A bunch of the modded tatos use this as a balancing mechanic.
Good call! I think a lot of sweet pies were invented or popularized in America - pecan and pumpkin too I think (Hoping to start a flame war in the comments) But what STYLE of chili??
Have you done any builds with the Well-Rounded? I figure you may be able to do a mini-series with the best build for each damage type for it. As for the national dish here in NYC, it's...well, whatever you like. We have pretty much everything if you look for it.
I'm saving Well Rounded for last, it just seems like a nice button on the guides series. And true, I've only ever had great food in New York (also appreciate the implication that you're your own country) :D
If you're on PC or console, you can enable "manual targeting on click/button press" in the options menu, and then when you click, your character's attacks will aim in that direction. Sadly, it's not available on mobile
I think it's important to note the strongest loud item: tentacle. Unlike lifesteal, there is no cap on how much healing you can get per second, so you just scale absurdly with tentacle, and refill your health bar in a single volley of basically any AOE or melee weapon. It makes other forms of healing, and much of the max hp, largely redundant. Really, loud is imho, easiest to play if you just get enough melee damage and enough sustain to be untouchable, and for me, this always revolves around tentacle. I prefer ghost axes, because they simply scale so hard that they are one shotting everything but elites by the time you reach it, but you don't need the ghost axes. You just need some form of melee crit chance. In fact, with ghost axes, while they are fun with bosses, you quickly end up massively overkilling any enemies anyways, with 800 damage hits against enemies with less than 100 health.
@@Cephalopocalypse your channel is excellent, I've been hooked for the past week watching your brotato videos, you're very educational and it's pretty impressive how quick you are with your decisions during a run. also I like how you always explain your thought process. it's really entertaining listening to you
Definitely try this build or shredders then!I think when people struggle with Loud it's usually because they're trying to do too much, when you just need damage and waveclear
I am now on round 30 with 300 Hp regen, tentacle with a 100% chance of happening, 84% chance of life steal to happen, 500% attack speed, and -100% speed.....

I see what you did there 😂
It always surprises me every time you pass on Baby Gecko. I love the currency pull and love getting 3 or more of them.

Haha, never heard that one before!
Great potatoe. I got very lucky with the life steal, hp regen items. Not as easy masochist, doctor etc. But still great.
Right on. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers!
I do love rolling melee with the rip and tear explosions in loud! And fellow poutine loving Canadian here! Haha
I feel like I need to do like five runs for this character because there are so many fun builds
@@Cephalopocalypse for sure pal! :)

Good to know! I haven't played endless much but I'd assume Loud is top-tier for endless runs
Shredder + SMG man. The ombo is so strong an even negates the need for piercing on wave 9.
loud is a really fun character
National dish?
Stew
Breakfast Roll
Crubeens
Spice Bag
Spiced Beef

You have to explain to me why you don’t buy riposte when it would benefit your rip and tear and it would do 80 damage every time you dodge.
If you can get your harvesting up high enough to get +3 at the end of the wave it will counteract the -3 from the Loud.
True! It almost happened this run, though I still don't recommend trying to do that on purpose. Just a slightly weird set of shops!
Ghost axe is stacking insane damage on this character

Can you do vampire survivors?

Good to know!
I like starting with Shredder for ranged because the horde clear with only 1-2 level 2 shreds is amazing
Shredder definitely a solid choice! Loud just has so many build options and they're all great, hence the S-tier rating I gave the class :)
Real chads go thief dagger with Loud
A super fun way to play it for sure!
It sorta felt like you got the stomach but then forgot about it; and your max HP just spiked to the moon!
That's the beauty of the stomach, you don't have to play around it since the fruits get vacuumed up at the end of the wave!
I guess Apple Pie could be considered a national dish considering the saying "as American as Apple Pie"
My personal favorite dish is chili.
Good call! I think a lot of sweet pies were invented or popularized in America - pecan and pumpkin too I think

is there such a thing as canadian westerns? or is it all US?
Hi from sweden =) meatball is our jamover here
Hej! You all have the right idea, meatballs are delicious
Was casually hyper boosting speed for the achievement then power generator popped up in my last loud run.

If you're on PC or console, you can enable "manual targeting on click/button press" in the options menu, and then when you click, your character's attacks will aim in that direction. Sadly, it's not available on mobile
@@Cephalopocalypse thank you!
I did the strategy of using ghost weapons and im still steamrolling at wave 36. Just insane
Awesome! Yeah the amount of ghost stats you get from this guy gets ridiculous quickly!
Thx
I don't think quickly saying "clearing crowds" repeatedly is demonetizable...
That's because you didn't hear what I almost said accidentally :P
