    I am a recent hire with Victory Motorcycles. It's pretty cool when I walk into the engineering division and see that nearly every engineer has their riding helmets placed on top of their workstations. It's like a forest of helmets. They ride their bikes to work and the company encourages every employee to ride the hell out of their bikes and give feedback. I'm damned impressed with the passion I've seen at the headquarters. Victory is run by riders. That's very cool to me.

    Good video!
    I've been looking at Victory for quite a few years now but I've seemed to always go back to being interested in Harley. I've had three, '84 Sportster XLH 1000 Iron Head, a '93 Sportster 883 and last but not least an '06 Dyna Wide Glide. I have to say that I loved them all, especially the Dyna, but like another commenter said, "Victory has come a long way!" I really like the Jackpot and the Boardwalk...I've been looking online at used ones and watching a lot of videos. I think I'm sold on Victory this time around!!!

      Hey bro, believe it or not. I had the same thinking for many years myself. I owned and rode HD all my life. With that said, I did purchase a Victory high ball a couple years ago, barely used from a seller on ebay. Till today, I'm more then impressed, I still ride it and it hasn't given me not one issue since the day I bought it. Mind you, I do know how to take care and work on bikes through the years. But mine really hasn't given me any problems, I just do it's regular maintenance, I through in some sea foam in the tank every now and then, since gas companies still use that God forsaken ethanol watered down crap we got today they call gasoline etc... So my bike still runs strong, And like the guy here said in the video. At least try one and if finance is an issue. Do what I did, keep shopping you will find really good used ones with low miles like under 9000miles for bargain prices at times... you won't regret owning a Victory, and at least the money staying in the U.S.A as well, instead of some made in China-Taiwan piece of garbage.... Is also why I have both in my garage, my Harley's and my high ball. If I were to get another Victory in the near future, I'm likin the Gunner, big beefy, it's got that mixed fatboy oldskool look with a twist.... Any who, just thought to pass the word from another Victory owner, these are sweet-tough rides! Go for it!

    enjoyed your video review man! I'm Still riding my ole 2002 Harley Wide Glide with the Carbureted Engine. I love it and its been a great bike. Never left me walking. But in the next few years I'm going to buy a brand new bike ( Keeping the WG too) and i have a new found interest in Victory. I didn't used to like them but they have come a long ways. Im digging the Cross Country Tour. But damn we got so many choices these days for American bikes ( a good thing huh). Be hard to decide between a new harley, indian, or a victory.

    What an incredible video of an amazing machine! I've always liked Victory, but because of my father & the 11 Harley Davidson motorcycles he's owned in his life, Harley is still my favorite. In fact, I'm looking for his favorite Harley that he sold, that I wish I could have bought at the time... It's his 2007 Harley Davidson CVO Screamin' Eagle 110 ci Dyna! His had the factory Blue flames on the gas tank. He also had a custom Vance & Hines Exhaust, upgraded air breather intake filter... I forget which brand? Plus, he had it custom tuned. What an awesome bike that was! Anyway, I own a rare in the US, 2008 Suzuki GSX650F that I'm in the process of modding... I'm going to keep this Suzuki even when I buy that Dyna 110 - If I can find one in my father's year and color, or whatever other bike I buy if I don't find the Dyna. Sorry for the long comment. I gave your video a like, and I'll subscribe after this comment. Safe travels man,
    -Chris

    Never heard of Victory until I spoke to a insurance agent who has one. I did a bit of research and it boils down to the same old story. Beta was better than VHS but the porn industry made the decision for us. These are narratives derived from marketing not a better product. Netware was better than MS Server, but microsoft had better marketing. In this case Victory had no marketing thus no matter how great it was, it would never have the traction as Indian, yet ironically Indian took a huge hit in its history because Harley out marketed them, going globally. It's not about the better product, its always about making people aware the product exists. Today, if someone does their research they can find the better product without the marketing but most people today are still lazy. In order for Victory to have survived or in present day be revived, is a a media push, in a feature film, a celebrity promotion, Victory festivals and affordable first rider models. Victory should have crossed the finish line. Thanks Polaris. But you can still change your mind.

      @sanj5026 8 років тому

      I agree that Harley has the bar set, but maybe certain bikes aren't suppose to? for example the Suzuki boulevard m90/m109, those sound nothing like a chopper, but aren't suppose to either. they have a unique sound

    • @jojojeep1
      @jojojeep1 8 років тому

      I just sold my warrior, I loved the bike , just couldn't take that sound, it's the crank that's why they sound that way,there crank's are super balanced I think off set crank pin , so they can take the high rpm , that's why they make almost 20 and some 30 more hp then Harley, but for me, I rather go slower and sound meaner.

    • @jhezy2000

      the con it doesnt sound like a Harley? i swear alot harley riders make the dumbest statements. my friends have harley i owned one they are nothing special at all. they have more recalls and any problem than any other bike. you pay for the name thats it nothing else.

  • @jojojeep1
    @jojojeep1 8 років тому +2

    how come everytime some one shows there bike , no matter what bike it is , they always compare it to a Harley, Honda, kawi, Yamaha, victory, they all do it , Harley never compare's there bike to any other , do you think that says something.

      yeah, it means they are all better. Just kidding lol HD's are beautiful machines. I think everyone compaires them to harley's because most people are more familiar with harley's. they own most of the motorcycle market compared to other companies. They are a baseline for everyone to go off of. For better or worse.
