  • My review of the 2006 Victory Vegas 8 Ball cruiser motorcycle. I test ride the bike and give my first thoughts and impressions.
    The bike belongs to motovlogger "1.21 Jiggawatz" / @121jiggawatz
    The bike has a 100 cubic inch V-Twin engine and produces insane amounts of torque. Belt driven.

    Man, that looks so much like where I used to live in Arizona. Thanks for the video - looking to buy a new Gunner soon.

    This is the only Victory that I really like. The other ones are okay, but the Vegas 8-Ball just looks amazing. I've never ridden one, but everyone seems to really enjoy them.

    I have the same bike and love it. The only issue with that bike is the clutch cable design sucks. What I'll probably do next season is convert it to a wet clutch if I can

    how similar to the 04 would this bike be? and would 3500 be a good price for a top condition one?

    • @arch417powersports
      @arch417powersports  8 років тому +2

      +Austin Peterson I would say no and here's why: A ton of power, very heavy bike, somewhat difficult to control at low speeds for a beginner. I would recommend a Kawasaki Vulcan or Yamaha Bolt for you. I have reviews on those two bikes.

    • @SuperDan1006
      @SuperDan1006 7 років тому

      +archinuk417 I'm actually thinking of getting this as my first bike. Do you think it has too much power, or is it something I could grow into? I'm 6'1 and a (pretty fit) 220.

    • @muskokamike127
      @muskokamike127 7 років тому +1

      sorry, no...I've been riding for almost 40 years and fit or not...a big guy or not....size and weight doesn't give you skill......as stated, start off with a bolt, an 883 harley, or a myriad of other mid sized bikes. I'd stay away from any "low" version due to your height.....I had a 1200 nightster and I'm 5'8" and was comfortable (ride sucked though) for legs etc. They are a "low" version of a 1200 sporty and you'd be cramped on it.
      You want to know one of the best starter bikes on the planet? A yamaha Radian 650.....you could probably pick one up used for $2000 and if you dump it? no sweat.....
      I'd actually recommend a rider training course if there's one available in your area. They teach you things like reverse/opposite steering etc....after the course you'll be able to maneuver, feet up, at 2 mph and slower.....

      Sportsters are an awful beginner bike. They are also heavy (about 100lbs lighter than the victory) but they are top heavy as hell.

    • @muskokamike127
      @muskokamike127 5 років тому

      @@JSAFIXIT I wouldn't call an 883 heavy, but "heavy" is a relative term. They are "heavy" compared to an EX500 yes.

      archinuk417 The Shadow vt1100. Im currently turning it into a bobber after wrecking it 3 years ago. so I haven't been riding. my wreck messed my head up good. 36 stitches and some challenges that occurred as an after affect. So yeah. I should have worn a helmet.
