Should buy a Victory in 2023? Hell yes!! The bang for the buck is incredible. I bought a new 2017 Vegas from a dealer 6 months ago. It was the last one they had. Been riding Vics for 10 years and never needed no steenkeeng parts. But you can get anything for them. No prob..
I just bought a 2015 Victory Vision a month ago. I already put over 4000 miles on the bike. I ride it to work everyday and I"ve already taken 2 cross country trips. The bike runs perfectly. Not one ounce of issues. The previous owner took excellent care of the bike, which makes being the second owner that much more enjoyable.
I have a 2000 Victory 92. The cool part is Victory built it with common parts, It has many Harley parts on it now. It is a great bike. In Arkansas, parts are actually fabricated in the shop.
Very nice bike. I have a 2014 Crossroads and love it. Ridden through 13 states this year with no problems. When I stop at Harley dealers for coffee, I get only welcome looks😊. I don't feel guilty because I do have an XL1200C for local riding.
For parts install you can always find a indie mechanic, I mean its a bike, they all function on the same principels except some specific stuff but that shouldnt scare a mechanic away.
I had a 2011 Victory Jackpot and had really no trouble with it. I did have an O2 sensor wire break off. So, I took it out and went to Advanced Auto parts. The smart lady behind the counter ran the part number and found out that it is compatible with the same O2 sensor from a small block Chevy from the 80’s. Paid $17 for a new one and the problem was fixed. That was 4 years ago. I ran nothing but Ams Oil in that bike with never an issue. The bike ran cooler and shifted smoother with Ams Oil.
I feel like it's also worth mentioning that Victory was a sub-brand of Polaris. Polaris also owns Indian motorcycles, and some parts are interchangeable with Indian and Polaris... 👍
Picked up a 2010 Crossroads last summer. 18k miles, spotless, for under 5k. I liked it so much that I sold my Roadking a few months later. I've stocked up on some common parts but have had zero issues so far. I wouldn't think twice about doing it again, and I may just do that. I've always wanted a Judge in Orange.
Picked up a 2004 Victory Kingpin with only 18,000 miles. Guy didn't know what he was getting rid of. Would be nice to able to just pick up the phone and order any part I want, but it was definitely worth the money.
Well given that Victory is going to be selling the limited NOS they have for everything from oil to filters and every other part. To which your mechanic said it was because you needed VICTORY OIL which they don't make oil, it is bottled per formulation by either West Direct or Colorado Petroleum who are the main two in all of Arizona, means more trouble because they aren't gong to order more from the bottlers.
10 year law yes, but who over sees that cause many parts are not being made and Listed as "not available". Then you have the possibility of the dreaded c-clip failure...... That is one bad ass sounding Victory!
Yep, and I was one of those unfortunate guys who ended up with the dreaded C-clip failure! Was going to cost around 5 grand to fix, potentially more, so got rid of the bike.
Love my 2013 High ball Unfortunately I was in a accident and parts are still available but there expensive and the aftermarket parts is small Found victory online forums are very helpful Side note my buddy who only rides Harleys really likes riding my bike
I’m looking for a filler cover for a 2015 Vision . The black filler cover that snaps on after taking the tour pack off . If anyone knows where I can find that part ? I would greatly appreciate it !
Yes buy the victory, i have a 2016 vegas xbow exhaust basic kn filter thats it and still walk new bikes. Even the 110 screaming eagle. You dont need much there are sport springs seats exhaust cams filters ecu's wires brake pads , and the list goes on.. oh and my vegas has 97 hp and over 100lbs torque, stock. Dont forget the super charger they make for the motor
Where you at in AZ? Phoenix? I'm up in Kingman and a buddy of mine has YT page and he rebuilds Victory bikes. "2 Cool Wheels" is his page. And if anyone needs some work done on their Victory, he is an expert on Victory and is located in Kingman AZ. Im about to buy a V92C from him that has the bore upgrade to 100 ci.
Parts are available. Polaris is making OeM parts until 2027. That’s plenty of time to use the bike love it and decide to keep or move on But after Polaris stops. Aftermarket will take over 100%
Hay mate Paul from Australia, it’s a concern for me , I’m thinking 🤔 about buying a 2015 Victory Judge ( so I think Indian would service them as same parent company? )
Thanks for the input. Great video and very helpful! Only thing I don't agree with you on is the Harley's. It's true that there is plenty availability in terms of parts and service, put personally I would rather ride a pink moped than own an over-priced, over-branded, and over-hyped bike. And yes I owned a HD before. Currently I have a Triumph T120 and it is far and away the best bike I've owned. Plenty of low down torque, flickability, classic brand with classic good looks...need I say more? lol...I'd love to get a Vic HB to add to my stable at some point... Question for you...what is your experience in terms of lean angle on that model bike? How far can you lean before scraping metal parts?
I just bought a 17 cross country. I’m #3 owner. It’s got 8300 miles. Obviously the first owner was not scared of scraping crash bars, footboards, and saddlebag tubes, this motorcycle has waaaaay more capability than my experience level. I continue to b impressed every time I start it up! It’s an awesome machine! And the more research I do, I’m finding I’m not alone in my respect for this brand. 2017 Victory Cross Country. Black/ Chrome. Stock
Your awesome videos has been very insightful with helping me to decide whether or not get a Vic HB. I know there are a lot of factors that go into mpg (like how hot a dude is on the throttle etc) but can you tell what your average range in terms of how many miles before refueling. Also, although I could probably learn to live without them I really love the classic look of the whitewall tires. Did you say you had difficulty finding them? Thanks again!
When I was trying to get the tires it was pretty close to the Covid stuff so idk if they are hard to get now. As for mileage I’m pretty steadily getting about 130 miles to a tank. Right around 46 mpg give or take
@Daniel D I get about 30 mpg, when I'm commuting in the city and ripping the throttle open constantly. I also get 45mpg, cruising on the highway at 65-70
Haha, I'm thinking about a 2nd bike and I'm weighing a Victory so it's a nice surprise to see someone in AZ doing reviews. And btw, completely agreed, Ride Now is fucking terrible. Truly terrible.
HELL YES! i own a 12 highball full tune, and a '14XC full boat Lloyds 505 cam kit parts are a bit knarley to find, but not impossible, stock up on the essentials, cables, shifter parts stator starter fuel pump ect. check out my short videos... Victory Lives!!!
“Victory oil”? That doesn’t make any sense. Good quality oil is good quality oil.. it should have stopped ticking with any high quality oil in the correct grade 😳
YOU MY FRIEND ARE WRONG... Polaris are supplying parts for all of their victory range until 2027 NOT 10 years from the year or model of your victory.... DO the reaserch before you cause interweb armagedon... Victory bikes are practically bullet proof and the parts that do needs changed are easily available.... That old timer caused you money.... The ticking you heard was hydrochloric lifter clog... All you needed was lifter treatment additive whitch clears the lifter valve and guess what??? Ticking gone
10 years after last model of 2017 equals 2027…must be a coincidence! Good thing I didn’t claim to be an expert! It does sound like you agree with me that you absolutely SHOULD buy a victory even now! Glad to have you aboard my friend :) thanks for watching and commenting much appreciated

Love my Victory! 2016 XCT 45,000 miles
Just bought a Hammer 8 ball with 2k miles for 8k. Can't wait to take it home.
That's some good information I didn't know you could bypass some of the sensors.

500th Sub'd here. Mike in CA who wants to try a Victory someday.
I just picked up a Victory octane and I loved it even more after the test ride. I know I will probably never sale it.
Just bought a 12 XC a week ago and have absolutely zero regret
Love my 2016 victory magnum
I have a 2007 Honda ST1300 and my local dealer won’t work on anything older than 2009 even if I agree to pay for it.
You’ve convinced me bro.
I just got a 2012 Victory Crossroads with 12,000 Mi on it for $4,000 bike is mint ......best deal of the year
Where do you guys find these deals, good for you. I’m still looking.
Love that colour. So jealous.
You need a set of VM1 cams and an under drive pulley! Last steps of performance left unless you want to big bore.

I live in the Valley, you mentioned that you found a mechanic who will work on Victory. Can you share that info?
The triumph dealer on az ave and main st next to Kelly’s Kawasaki used to be a victory dealer and kept a few of the mechanics that’s where I went
@@billsfabworks3188 Thanks Man!!!

Lean angle is not a lot to be honest, it’s not as bad as some other big bigs like the gold wing or Suzuki m109 but it’s not amazing either

Thank you

Look up Rylan at the vic shop in Iowa. He did my XC last spring. He knows his stuff.
Though they stopped Maximus tuning you can still get Remote Tunes with Maximus through Noe. You do not need to take your bike anywhere.

where would you look to find one for sale?
If you get lucky you can find one private sale but more often than not you’ll see them at a dealer
facebook market place, cycle trader
